Theo is way better at interviewing than he thinks cuz he shares far more than most people. Love this guy.
I think he has a genuine desire to connect to everyone, which is rare to see- he can sound equally interested in a plumber's thoughts and stories as he is a celebrity, a scholar, scientist etc. It's the mark of a good human being, or at least a human being who wants to be better and that's close enough
His questions are also very unique

I know what he means, I'm a huge TJ fan, but he tends to steamroll and dominate conversations cuz he's got so much manic energy, and he really wasn't being that way at all in this interview. This whole interview is great, but when TJ brought up the unique way theo speaks and the fishbowl line, I knew he truly understands Theo.
That was my favorite part of the podcast. Ari and Kobe had a falling out was my second.
Whitney Cummings said something similar, like “dude your brain itself seems different it’s amazing”, really glad when comedians give props. Theo probably hears it a lot from normal people, but comedian compliments may hit harder.

This is a rare interview where I think you really get to see who TJ Miller is when he's just being himself. Even when he was with his friend Bobby Lee on Tiger Belly, he was in the room with more people and seemed to be in performance mode (which is still awesome). This was quite a difference, so kudos again to TRK for bringing this out.
Theo has this "Honest" vibe that I really like....he's every guy.

Theo’s gone through many personal struggles, nobody’s perfect, what counts is that he keeps on working on himself and improving as a person. Took a hell of a lot for him to expose himself for a mistake he made to thousands of people who look up to him. His net-effect is positive, and he clearly has made improvements over the years, that’s all you can ask for in a person. What are YOU doing to help offset the snide remarks you leave on CZcams behind a computer to end up with a positive net-effect on the people around you?

Awesome episode. Love TJ.. Caught him on several other great podcasts in the past month. Theo Von, I've always enjoyed and watched a lot of interviews, way before there were podcasts, so I've seen a lot, and with the unique personally and perspective you have, along with your quick wits and ability to be make people laugh without much effort, makes you an amazing interviewer. You tend to come up with one of a kind analogies, that I always hear the other person say they never heard that analogy, but it's makes perfect since and they understood it right away. And you're only gonna get better. Keep it up, gang gang.
