I am unsure what you are referring to, I am confused as well, lol... but the budget was $400 I spent like 5$ a day with both ads running so $10 total then bumped it down gradually.
With new releases within 2 weeks of running an ad campaign it gets picked up by the algorithmic radioplaylist and then the next month i put it in discovery mode and then it keep getting streamed in radioplaylists without an adcampaign, the kickstart of 3 or 4 weeks of running an ad campaign is enough for me
It sounds like you got lucky and triggered the algorithm. There is a massive chasm between the FB numbers, which are a couple hundred conversions at a pretty expensive 20cents+ each, to the tens of thousands of Spotify plays. If the algo didn't decide to push the song, the results wouldn't have been much. My reading of the data anyway. I have the opposite problem: ads get clicks like crazy, literally for a penny or less, but almost nobody actually then goes all the way to stream the song, they bounce off the landing page.
Yes, luck, the Algo Gods, whatever you may call it you need a little bit of that. Honestly, a lot of things don't make sense when I get algo pushes, sometimes they do but a lot of the times I am surprised. I would recommend for your issue target tier 1 or tier 1& 2 countries if you aren't all ready that should get you more listeners .Good luck,.
It's really annoying how my cost per conversions are $0.70 to $3.50 on some campaigns that have been running for weeks. CPMs are at $15s. I'm only targeting IG though.
70 cents isn't too bad if you can keep it in that range. but the other numbers are high, just keep at it and trying new things, ad visuals, demographics, etc and you will find something that clicks, you got this!

So I know you wouldnt recommend and Album, and I plan on just dropping consistent singles.... Would you run ads to the singles or to a best of playlist with all your singles?
That is up to you, i prefer singles. You may get a high number of people liking the playlist, but from my experience, just because they like your playlist doesn't mean they will listen to it more, I found that out. So, it is just easier to promote the single have them go straight there and listen, no catch, no gimmick. As for the album, you are the artist you do what you feel is best! If you want to drop an album, drop it, just make sure you promote it, but it is easier to focus solely on one release versus 10.
