  • If you're looking for a mini eBike... one that is lightweight and small and folds... well, we've finally found one we can recommend whole heartedly... the Hiboy C1.
    And it's currently $100 off at Amazon and comes in at just $399 now! Great price in our opinion for one of these bikes if you're looking for one. Here's the link: www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCJYN66J?...

    That's a cool little bike to buzz around on. Looks like a good size for little people like me lol.

    Cool little bike and 18 pounds lighter than our Lectrics! Thanks, Owen! (Jane in SC) ❤🙏

      At my age 18lbs is a lot. But your Lectrics have bigger tires, more battery and capacity. This fits a smaller niche of folks who want the smaller bike that still is usable.

      I really like it, it's sleek looking and seems to require a smaller space to transport!❤

    Kool, video and test ride. At the end it looked like you took a tumble on the bike. Glad it was only the camera. Im looking for a new small ebike. I got a Lectric 2.0 but its very heavy AND the motor crapped out on our first trip to Bahia Honda. Bummer. No service on the L’ectric. What about service on the Hiboy?

      There is a link on the Hiboy website that has a list of places you can get them serviced.

    Good grief! I expected it would probably be about 30#. But, no - it's 50#! And that "foldable" is only the upper components folding down? The frame doesn't fold, apparently.
    The small 16" Jupiter Discovery X5, while $1000, weighs in at 40# (and you can buy $600 refurbs). And it really folds. I got the slightly larger Jupiter Discovery X7 - I thought the larger 20" wheels would be a bit more stable, and it is only 48#.
    (I'm glad that was the camera that dropped and not YOU going over the handlebars. That's always my concern with smaller wheels - that they can go out from under you so quickly.)

    The recommended age of 16 to 50 made me laugh. Youre only as old as you want to be. Stay young Owen.

    I don't see the weight on the specs. What I like is that it doesn't fold into a thick block of bike. You could easily fit two into a trunk I bet.

      With the battery in it weighs 50 pounds. And we like the fact that it doesn't fold to for the reason you stated and it's more sturdy to ride on. It just seems to have a more stable ride since there's no folding mechanism. Thanks for watching.

    Is it possible to add a rear storage rack?

      I think it suits be possible but would take some McGivering for sure. One is not available to purchase.

    Does the seat go down lower? I’m 5’1 and I need to be able to have my feet touch the ground

    Do the pedals fold? Throttle on right is best in US so you can signal with your left.

      Yes they do fold. You taught me something. Thank you.

    Those small tires look like they would be unstable on an irregular surface or gravel trail. Could you comment on this topic?

    • @VANTREKKINGlifestyle
      @VANTREKKINGlifestyle  Před 2 měsíci

      Not as stable as 4" fat ties for sure. But as you can see our driveway is gravel and bumpy. It did fine. But I'm also used to even smaller tires on scooters. It's so lightweight it seems to be easier to keep you balance in those situations than you'd think. But it is one downside to smaller bike... smaller tires.

      I have an Electra Townie. It is pretty plain meaning no bells and whistles, which I like and it is very light weight which makes it easier for me to ride.

    I don't see a display on this bike, where'd they hide it?

    • @VANTREKKINGlifestyle
      @VANTREKKINGlifestyle  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Aha... in the middle of the handlebar at the top of the post. Not much info... battery left and speed. Not super bright either but all I usually use display for is battery remaining.
