I've been waiting for the Qrow vs Tyrian Score to do this. It's a little rough. But I kinda like the sort of abruptness when the lyrics come in.

I cannot express how *amazing* RWBY's soundtrack is. Ever single damn part of that track completely fit with the fight, changing from Qrow's theme to Tyrian's insane & unstable sound, to even a reference to "Red Like Roses Part 1"!

Hello from the future. His voice constantly cracks and breaks. He's just not built for a voice like that. It's scratchy and raspy, like he's on the verge of choking. It's a shame.

I honestly think Jeff made a mistake by leaving those instrumentals out. I would've started the track around 1:18. Making it 4 minutes on the dot.
Eh at least He gave them to us in the score format in, beautiful. succulent. HD quality. Unlike "it's my turn" which got the short end of the stick and had a whole guitar section cut out of the score... but I see what you mean.
+refonyte2000 ahh man you're right, that always bothered me ): "It's My Turn" is my favorite song of all and it sucks how it was cut out from the Round One score. And in the final version, the guitar was cut out at "you were the one who held me down and told me I was heading nowhere." Sounded nicer in the episode but someone else just said that just helps with the buildup of the song so- yeah lol

OFC, with the look of Hetza Hellshock, who's semblance deactivates all semblances and aura effects around her. Including her aura too. And she's like Tyrian and Johnny Silverhand combined.

This theme. It makes me think of the fan theory that Qrow was Ruby's biological father and I will write my own fan fiction about but not through RWBY alone but through Blazblue Cross Tag Battle.
The series writers went out of their way to publicly shut down that theory, it's not true and has only a sliver of merit.

I wish they'd done more with Qrow... Really dial up the danger caused by his semblance.
Cuz honestly, it hasn't done much notably exciting stuff. Tyrion stepped on a piece of wood that caused him to fall through a roof. I think that's as exciting as it ever got. Like c'mon, give us more. Really show us that Qrow has a BURDEN. And not a minor inconvenience.
"But falling through a roof is big in a fight. That'd put most people out of commission in the middle of a battle."
Yah, but as this show establishes, everyone is super strong, can do backflips, and sword spins... Falling through a roof doesn't mean much in this show...
If only they'd dialed back the stupid fight scenes, it might've had more weight to it. Like falling through a roof should have.
But no, "Every character is a ninja who does back flips, sword spins, and they do spin attacks without even TRYING! >:D" Uuuugh... This show really sucks...
I want to like it, but it's just... The writing is bad, the battles are bland and boring, and the show just ignores/kills/makes their coolest characters suddenly powerless for no reason. (i.e. Qrow and Adam. Both cool characters, both suddenly useless in later seasons, because reasons...) GUUUUH...

Could be that the bad luck has to build up during a fight. First it's a simple thing like "you accidentally trip on a banana peel" bad. Then it goes worse, like you start having random weapon failures, requiring more and more extensive procedures to avoid it breaking. Then the weapon just breaks for good. THEN you start losing really important stuff. Then, eventually, you have such bad luck you end up caving your entire house in on yourself by closing a door too hard.

Welp, they had a chance, when he and Clover were fighting Tyrian. As soon as Clover's aura broke they could've had him fall through the ice and freeze to death or something. But instead they decided to have Qrow team up with Tyrian like an idiot.
