But never ever use compression on stereo out which is master on other daws if you want to compress something specifically because it's basically not efficient because not only it will be triggered when the transient from the kick is touching the threshold but also will trigger when other high frequencies from the track toches the threshold so A) either you have to automate it when only turn on when the attack' of the kick hits on the stereo out and I would only prefer this if I don't have the stems and only have master file or B) you can simply go to your kick chennal and compress the transient or C) this is my favourite one use saturator in default mode to cutoff the loud peaks which is invisible you can't hear it as compression has its own tonality so specially on kicks I like saturation trick more any way really good content appreciate it keep going 😊

    Mam, Nicely understood.
    1. What is the ratio,m.second&dB ranges for slow, medium & fast instruments&voice In Compression?
    2. what is the human understandable miliseconds in music ?
    3. Why negative dB and upto 0dB play the role in mixing and mastering since the hearing range is from 20 to 20k.

    Great tutorial ji 💫✨
    Just have one doubt...
After importing a reference track to our project, during mixing stage.....
What should be volume level of reference track while mixing ???
Becoz Reference Track is fully mastered and it's volume lies between -3 db to -12db....
And while mastering what should the volume of reference track as well...
Should we reduce it to -6db during mixing?
