I agree! I thought that was ridiculous cause Kitana has had so many cool and diverse costumes over the years while Johnny is usually wearing no shirt and pants. How boring. This should of happened before Johnny Cage, but he's such a popular character I'm sure that's the main reason he won that poll. Glad Kitana's list is finally here though lol.

And she is a female. And he won 50 percent of the votes was beyond me in a video game that is played mostly by males lol. But it is what it is. Hopefully we will get Jade soon.

Dark Empress Kitana and Dark Emperor Liu Kang were the best of their costumes! It's a crime they weren't used in MK 11!

I think MKX (default and tournament) Kitana were the best by far. I think they should lean more heavily on the Asian themes and I would love to see a Geisha/Maiko-inspired skin as that would fit her really well. I think if Zhang Ziyi was used for the face of Kitana/Mileena and Gong Li as Sindel they would look so nice.
Kitana’s most underrated skin was mk vs dc. I really hope we will get that as a dlc skin one day, esp since her long hair is back in mk1. My fav is her mk1 design and MkX base and tournament.
Kitana has alot of beautiful costumes, aside from the mkx dark empress and revenant skin, I really liked all the costumes they're very pretty and fit the character well

Woah woah. Kitana MKDA skin is actually different and pretty cool on her. We’re so used to her wearing All shades of blues and some hint of blacks and seeing her rock her mother color scheme is actually cool and different.

you should do a video ranking costumes of characters who have only appeared in maybe 1-3 games only like nitara, ashrah, and havik, it could take years for them to ever be seen again after mk1, plus characters like Moloch, or Tremor only have 1 or so skins so one big ranking could go nicely.

Yeah, excited for her highness Kitana's list! Ha, the first half of the list were a bunch of costumes I didn't like at all and thought were completely ugly. I must of blocked those out and just remember her best costumes lol. Even though it's not the best, I always liked her debut costume in MK2. I have no problem with its placement on the list. I like her Deadly Alliance costume more than I remember, I agree it's a good update. Even though I hated how they had the women looking like plastic strippers in MK9, I did love Kitana's costume in that game. It did have a classy and sexy vibe to it. I also think a lof of her MK1 costumes are nice as well. I may be in the minority, but Kitana's primary MKX costume is my favorite. IDK, I guess it's cause they gave her a different look with her hair, the jewelry on her forehead, the costume, and her fans. She look like a ninja or a sassy assassin (Especially when she's more b*tchy in MKX lol) I just think it's badass! I just really love that different and unique look on her. Her MK11 costumes didn't do much for me, so I disagree with them being the top three but to each their own. Kitana's MKX look is my #1!
I hope Kitana gets a costume similar to Yuna's songstress outfit from Final Fantasy X-2 in the future

I'm actually glad that MK11's kostumes took the spotlight; when it comes to graphics and style, not kounting the kustom options, MK11's the best! I was a little disappointed her Goddess Kostume you'd see in the end of MK11 was kut, though, and I do agree her MKX kostumes are kinda bland, but it was surely a treat! Believe me, I know personally on how difficult it is to put a list together, not just from konflicting ideas.
Noice overall! Maybe make your next ranking on Nightwolf's kostumes, or even Liu Kang's or Kung Lao's! Also, just putting it out there, if you run out of ideas...maybe rank on the Kombatants Voice Actors...?

God MK11 did her dirty. I’m so glad they gave her tons of quality skins in MKX. I mean her klassic skins do more than the ones in MK11. They’re like an after thought. She’s so damn bland in MK11. They clearly payed more attention to Jade than they did to Kitana

You forgot the Ms Klaus design! Prob on of my favorites but the Titan Kitana is the best design in my opinion.
Her best costume was the blue version of jades MK Decpetion skin. Imo
Personally I could never get behind Kitana's MKX base design. Way too much going on, it's a mess imo, I always stuck with her Tournament Costume instead.
While I consider base MK9 my favourite, I actually really like Titan Kitana's design too! Love the Chun-Li buns lol

I think #10 was cool for its purpose in the story mode. But not as a fighting mode skin. It looks like she’s wearing a bunch of like carpets and drapes 😂 and it seems like from a practicability standpoint, it would be a lot of extra fabric to get in the way

I agree with your list for the most part. Only disagree with MK X being in the top 5 I hate that costume with passion all of her skins in MK X disgust me 😭😭😭 it was the first time I didn’t pick kitana as my main because I couldn’t stand how ugly she looked. I don’t like her wierd pretzel hairstyle and her brown legs. The one that’s based on 9 is offensive to me as her hair looks like Jasmine from Aladdin and her crown and earrings got nerfed. MK 11 gave her a huge glow up though and it got better with MK 1. But I agree with everything else. My top 3 are MK 1 or MK 11 and MK 9. I used to be so obsessed with MK9 design because I love the long black hair and the beautiful princess line pattern on her outfit. The amount of body she was showing was the only thing I didn’t like.

I think MKX Kitana is the most overrated design. Unlike you who’ve grown to like it, I just never came around. It’s overdesigned, cluttered, looks dirty. It doesn’t seem to be a mix of princess and assassin. It just looks like a Kitana who lives in the wastes.
I hate the MK9 design. It’s a real bad look. I know it’s the most fanart and get the most cosplays but let’s be real honest about why that is. The design itself and as a Kitana outfit especially is just bad. It’s a shame that this is the first Kitana to not be in a leotard. What a fumble.
My favorite Kitana designs has to be from MKDA with MK11 and M1K also being solid looks for the character.

Honestly can’t believe mk11 was your overall top pick. They sucked. They looked so uninspired. MKX was so much detail. MK1 also had a ton of detail but
Katana’s bottoms just seem like PJs to me. MK11 is the worst by far. I think MK1 tried enough but her base costume just bothers me and the bottom half is really my only complaint. Those leggings dont fit for some reason
