@@WetMagic Zealot is seriously OP in CHW, once you get both temp health perks, increased healing and some other bonus that breaks him, youre in for a good time. Once I got the perk that makes you automaticly block when your melee weapon is out, paired with some more attack speed to go with your stacks, some stamina boons, man was literally too blessed to die.
WHC also has an absolutely ridiculous combo with his passive free frontal blocks and the boon of automatic blocks when meele weapon is equipped. He can basically solo most of the hordes, and revive allies in the most dire of situations. And if we add the boon of automatic riposts on block... well, you can imagine. He needs a tier of his own.
Or you get the lightning on every crit with the Lvl 30 talent thet you do only crits after you´re ult.
Shame that most comments are "but X career is super strong if you get this rare talent that most other careers benefit from"
Regarding weapons, I stick to whatever I go into the run with. Just upgrade them along the way. I don't trust the rng weapons, because 90% of the time it's against my build. Ib bardin with great hammer is still my fav and keeps me alive and saves me from cc since I only run leg or cata.
When playing Famished Flames I always go for tempering. It's not a big issue, but you do need to reserve the coins for it.

Nice video. I really like Chaos Wastes. It's just amazing how different each run feels, and I say that after having played a lot of CW already. All in all, good addition to the game :)

I'd say that Slayer's saving grace (and why he is at least C tier for me) is the fact that he ults so much. Especially with Adrenaline Surge, which allows him to just be ulting constantly in combat. Not only can you get some decent on-ult combat boons, like "Using your career skill grants 40% movement speed for 5 seconds", but you can also get some crazy team support, like "Using your Career Skill returns 10% of nearby allies' Ability Bars" (which allows your allies to ult almost as much as you do) and "Using your Career Skill has a 50% chance of granting you the effect of the potion you are currently carrying" (which, when combined with a lifeshare potion can give your team a bottomless well of HP, even if the "50%" is a lie).
I think part of this comes down to the way we play Chaos Wastes. I *only* pick up boon stations if I have coins to burn at the end of a run, so I never really get Slayer's useless talents and will usually pick up at least one good one, like No Escape, over the course of a run. I've had enough "Ranald's Suicide" and "Gork's (or possibly Mork's) push so you don't get surrounded but, surprise, now you are anyway" to put me off of boon stations.
His main problem is, as in non-CW games, the added pressure he puts on the rest of your team to deal with specials, even if you can close most down with your ult. This pressure isn't helped by the number of Grail Knights also running around.
Ultimately, I think if you: save your coins, stick to tempers, don't play too aggressively, and support your team - he can be an asset on any CW expedition. One that is far more able to stand on his own than the likes of the Eng and BH.
agreed i swapping weapons is always a risk for synergy lol might get a weapon the swings diagonal when trying to get headshots, no CC on stagger health or something short range for multi hits. i personally swap weapons on no character.
I would actually put him in b tier cause he can deal ridiculous amounts of damage with just melee
Your One Shot WHC build was a ton of fun. Running CW with block focus really trains you in other classes to defend on squish BW.

Im mastering the sister of the thorn so freaking strong she's come in clutch for our runs a fair few times now.
@@guilliman1990 even just having the permanent heal every 8 seconds from using a ranged weapon has been so nice. She really is an absolute powerhouse
For outcast engi he is so much fun when you get those broken ass boons like increased attack speed the lower your career bar is, double shot, or chain lightning and insta kill everything in the game.
Only problem is that it happens very rarely.

man I think bounty hunter deserved more love, I feel so OP when I am playing him in Chaos Wastes, only a couple good boons and you blast away with the duckfeet to your heart's content
Footknights Stagger CDR for the entire team is silly good, especially in getting through +Hordes maps, if there's an outcast engineer on your team you essentially give him an infinite crank gun it's silly.

When I play Outcast Engineer I use the lvl 20 talent Superior Gasket. Occasionally on an expedition you can unlock Experimental Steam Capacitors as well. It means the 4 stacks (cranks) of attack speed buff stays up indefinitely whilst your Ult charges up indefinitely too off one crank cycle. It's so fun.
CW makes me play other careers because my favorite Huntsman and Unchained are so bad :-) One great thing with the Huntsman’s longbow and dual arrows, its like throwing 2 spears through a horde, clearing a nice path.
Ironbreaker with cog & troll hammers fixes some of the damage output issues and his talents do synergize well. Not dying is a pretty decent trait all in all!

The thing with Battle Wizard is you can randomly get Lingering Flames and that can really mess up what you were doing p to that point.
That is true, but a small risk overall I think.
Does lingering cancel out famished or something?

@@WetMagic Actually pretty big one, Lingering happens very often from random boons. Taught me to be ready to drop Beam staff in CW any time.
Also, managed to get Crowbill 4 times in a row as Pyro. Maybe my Sienna got cursed or smth.
Outcast engineer is personally one of my favorites to play. Can routinely solo hoards with the minigun plus good monster damage.
If I get lucky where I can have both talents where shooting doesn't consume steam & the one where I don't lose them overtime makes engi extremely effective.
I never go for weapon exchanges because they are too random and there are certain weapons I completely hate. I save my coins for weapon upgrades and boons.
S seems a bit bloated, have you thought about having an A+ or S+ to differentiate the really good from the absurdly broken?
Waystalker is my favorite career, really excited to hear she can do some crazy things in CW when I finally get to play it.
Great teir list love ur content keep it up! Imo pyro should be s+ only because the boon where she gets guaranteed crits for 3s after taking dmg. She can vent and also reset ulti alot with blazing echo, But hey ima dirty seinna main xD

Yeah if there is a pyro in the group and she gets one of 3 boones it's pretty much gg. Crits after taking damage, ranged crits explode or chain lightning. All you need is a bolt staff and spam light attacks
I agree with most. But my boy iron breaker is a beast with his troll hammer. Monsters arent moving with him around. And does decent damage to em to boot. His ult combined with the boon that lets him block without blocking is strong especially with a high stam weapons. He controls the hoards so your team doesnt have to.
Also one mote thing about slayer, if you get the ability cooldown on max passive stacks talent, and the talent that gives 1 extra passive stack, you will only get the ability cooldown when you are on 3 stacls of trophy hunter, when you get 4 stacks it no longer gives the ability cooldown.

Yeah it’s not super likely to get it and she actually struggles a bit early on with the reduced stats. Even with the guaranteed crits elites take quite a few swings to kill and your lack of stagger makes a lot of that unsafe. She’s definitely viable but I think handmaiden outshines her a bit in the wastes on higher difficulty Bc pretty much no mattter what you’re gonna get some kind of crazy build for her and she has a lot more survivability
@@WetMagic With the 25% faster cooldown on not hit with a bunch of other cooldown reduction (especially with Drakira's Thirst), she can have insane mist uptime. With fast ult uptime, Valaya's Brew can be insanely powerful with it. With dual sword, it absolutely destroys horde with mist (especially with Ellinill's Withering), and elites aren't a problem if you get behind them, or just use jav+mist. She also provides valuable team support by going invisible to revive teammates and rush ahead with invisibility if the whole team is down. Overall, every boon is really useful on her right now, and the possible career boons are really good too.
@@sooutchea Shade is a stealth class, not a stagger class (even tho javelin can stagger CW very well). Guaranteed crits plus javelin destroys everything, plus it is the best to use mist when you're behind a large number of elites anyways. Handmaiden is decent and provides more straightforward team support, but I would say that shade is more fun to play and provides more utility.
@@ivanthekingiii9857 i love shade too won so many cata games with her in CW and i came out on top with all green circles almost shes by far my favourite class to use. Nasty for monsters amazing for hordes and with javelin shes crazy for elites/specials.

I think the most fun I've had recently was actually with zealot, however. One of his common or rare boons is 50% increased health. I got that and we so happened to pick up two or three 15 or 20% more health boons. I had 285 Max health. At half health I had more health than some careers at full. His stacks are also based on 25 missing health, rather than a percentage so I was running around with Max stacks damage reduction, increased power, speed (got that talent as well from a boon), and attack speed almost the entire time, while still with more health than outcast engineer lol.
It was stupid and really fun. Didn't get the crit lightning, but that was fine. I zoomed around so much. Think I had a bunch of stacking attack speed boons too. I must of had like 60-70% percent attack speed when they all procted.
I think it's easy to argue this list is easily re-arrangeable depending on who is on the team.
If you got a shade who can backstab the heck out of enemies and the iron breaker? The iron breaker & shade just became best friends. Oh monster is there? Taunt, shade goes berserk on it's back for the duration, shaving HP off, grail knight gets to (Donkey Kong Arcade style) Mario hammer it's head in and the other character can go paint their nails or something.
Foot soldier charging through a horde can be really disruptive for some classes, but also let other classes murder the heck out of them. Light a fire under their butts, backstab them, throw a bomb.
I'm not knocking your opinion here Wet, it's just that I feel with all these classes it's so, hard, to say any kinda definitive tier, especially if you get unique mixes of people who also know how to exploit another character's class/ult.

Ik this post is a year old, but I got the game like a week ago, and this just happened to me today xD also got the other talent (30% CDR on fire walk) as a boon, and another20% CDR as a boon from end of stage, and boy oh boyyy, was I spamming double fire walk, dropping healing pots and frag bombs like crazy lmfao
Gotta disagree on the Slayer part personally, but probably because I've used that career plenty. When it comes to the one-handed / two-handed talent, it's easy to write him off as inconvenient for chaos wastes. However, it's a slim chance you'll be given the latter talent if you pick for example one-handed. Sure it may appear in shrines and chests as an option but don't need to pick it.
As for ranged, if you're not using throwing axes, you can close in on long-range specials using your ult, it's just about playing it smart.
A build I normally run will wield two one-handed (which can count as both dual axe/hammers and throwing axes), but I'll take crit talent, giving me an edge early in the early missions, and buying the one-handed attack speed talent as I progress.
Slayer is versatile, there's no specific main selling point other than being anti-elite which means it's often overlooked with all the new classes and easy trigger careers. Yet the base crowd control: stagger, trash/elite mob mix, mobility, it's all there. And with chaos waste boons on top, it'll handle a monster as well as most careers, not to mention stacked hexed patrols.
It's not easy to rank careers in chaos wastes as each run has a factor of luck to it and how your build will come about as you progress. But the fact that slayer performs well without relying on buying extra career talents, shows it's naturally malleable for the mode, and has vanilla chad results. Every other class will be praying for additional career talents, Slayer doesn't depend on it, and frees up more flexibility for chaos boons.
Not to mention he's great at jumping the invisible walls, cliffs and all-round tricky terrain, to reach downed allies or in some cases even go back for a chest after death.
An original gem that continues to punch 👍🏻
"Grail Knight is still Grail Knight" - When I first started playing, I specifically had purchased Grail Knight hearing that it was a good class and would be useful. Proceed the first time that I play Chaos Wastes, playing with GK Kruber, and watching as I just fucking do stupid amounts of damage and with the aide of my friend, a HPoS Saltspyre, I become the team's resident problem solver, AKA: "Fuck that guy in particular." Rat Ogre? Ult. Ratling Gunner? Shield. Horde? I got a broadsword. It's very broad and is very much a sword. Whilst I wasn't able to deal with things at range, we had a Thorn Kir who dealt with what I couldn't walk up and smash in the face.
Does Sigmars comet work with parting gift now? I used it early on in CW and it would toss the "free" bomb and the real bomb so I would lose the mogrim.

I see it what I tought Handmaden is mainly there because of block is good on harder difficulty (like I was wondering on the other video that what I tought but now you explain it better and it was clear that it because of difficulty more than anything because am sure other character characters got great weapons too). But yah form what I understand she bassicly one of the only that give stamina reg and it a big deal whene you need to block something + she already good at blocking.
Idk I use Slayer in Chaos wastes all the time. I just dont do the random weapon exchange. Get Vaul's anvil and you win. Have gotten that with like 6 shields and lightning and it was a cake walk
I mean to be fair vaul's anvial and chain lightning on any character would be a cake walk. I just think its pretty clear that slayer's talents work against each other. Can't really say that about any other character.

IB on the other hand i get drakefire talents all the time when i have trollhammer, i completely quit taking randoms on him because of it.
Pyro is S. You just need the boon that guarantees crits when you take damage and then you just continually vent your overcharge and get unlimited burning heads. Got it first try and it was by far my easiest cata run.
Na. She's completely reliant on the super strong boons to be a powerhouse. That's not S worthy imo.
The guaranteed crit boon is only an exotic so it’s really not that rare to find in boss chests or shrines and since unlike some other builds that boon alone is enough to make her a monster I gotta respectfully disagree on this one. I will admit that before you get it she feels terrible on cata. Breakpoints aren’t there for bolt staff in the beginning and even burning head doesn’t always one shot stuff early on which is really frustrating. But my god is it worth it if you get her going. We had me with the infinite ults and a waystalker with the same guaranteed crit talent who would shoot herself with her moonfire to proc plus she had lightning and the two of us were able to clear the end event in like 3 minutes. Our other two memebers just had to watch lmao
She’s also really great Bc if she just gets the boon that gives teammates ability bar when she ults back she can absolutely abuse it with the crit refund ult. 3 or 4 burning heads and the full team gets all their ults back immediately
Do all pople forget that things like dmg ,stager etc comes from EQ power ewven on CHW? if you upgrade fast your Eq you should feel the diffrence in geting those breakpoints like on normal run in keep your EQ gives the base for the talents & other things.
Also on first 2 or 3 levels of CHW enemy got less hp for you to get time to upgrade EQ or get boons that will help you on first shop & if there are 4 poeple in the party then there is 4x the chance for someone to get something good on the way. & I am not mentioning all the usual hp & dmg that coresponds to the dificulty level.
RNG for Slayer is just too brutal since his career specific boon pool has a lot of situational trash.
They're either 1h/2h weapon dependent effects OR worst case scenario effects (all teammates down, if you get hit, etc.) it's as if the devs know you're team's gonna be in the worst possible situations because you chose Slayer.
If they'll ever rebalance my boi for CW. They should remove the situational boons and add stuff that can make him play the videogame everyone else is playing.
Most of the dwarf careers are kinda low, ironbreaker also suffers with the entire tier 2 perk list being situational power fluxes or completly useless unless you run the crap drakefire weapons. Ally power boost is way too short a range, and blocking for power is really only applicable to fighting a monster
Outcast Engineer is S tier for sure. I had the boon which shoots an extra bullet when he uses a range weapon, combined with 20% damage when using a grenade (or Trollhamer Torpedo) is insane.
I used the Trollhammer shot on a Chaos monster, grapped my minigun and blown him in literally less than 2 seconds to death.
Also great for any waves, at the citadel of eternity with all the stormvermin, he simply oneshots them with body shots, his ulti is really bloody strong.
I just started playing Champion Chaos wastes with Grail Knight and I can't imagine playing without him. He is so good against monsters with his 2 shot level 30 ability

@@BREAKocean I like Bretonian Long Sword. It's just Broken. I did more damage that the rest of the team combined. The Charged attacks are very powerfull and you block while charging them. Any weapon with a shield will work as secondary weapon
How do you feel about Pyro being S tier? Party Knife makes a good build for her.
I never see a point in weapon exchanging. When i go in i got the weapons (albeit downgraded) that i equipped in the keep. So weapon upgrade stations, yes. Weapon exchanges, what's the point?

After the Belakor update, UC become one of the best classes, once you get damage reduction perks, she becomes unkillable.
Is this list for like, legend and cata? I have had great success with huntsman and slayer in chaos wastes...

I see ya place grail knight high on a good amount of lists, and yea he can do a lot but what about ranged enemies? I recall struggling to get all legend done on him cause id see specials but can't do anything besides tag and avoid. prob bad to go from BH to GK now that i think about it.
While he may lack a ranged attack grail knight can certainly still deal with specials. Bringing a shield negates fire and gun rats, leeches and hookrats can be dodged and killed. Assassins can be stopped in their tracks simply by pushing. He also has movement speed to be able to close the gap on specials if need be. Pretty much the only type of special he can’t handle would be the blightstormer if it’s real far away. All others are at least possible for him to kill. I don’t think he’s at that big of a disadvantage for having no range.
Bounty hunters skillfloor in wastes is on the ground, but if you get lucky then you never have problems again
I main slayer dwarf in wastes. Dual hammers for crowd controll and dual axes for armored opponents. I'm not worried about damage when using my hammers, I'm worried about staggering the hordes and bigger enemies so Mercenary or a Pyro can finish them with stronger attacks. And BOY let me tell you the temp hit points buff from staggering triat and dual hammers hame me running around with half hp and half temp points not giving a care pocketing the one healing item I got to. It's Hella good in wastes now
Ironbreaker has a problem that one of his perks can be completly useless if you get it, irondrake does nothing unless you have a drakefire weapon. Kind of a complaint I have about him in general.
Pretty much every other class can get SOMETHING out of one of their talents.
Even then if you want to use it drakefire isn't really that good especially when trollhammer exists. RNG also doesn't favor getting a drakefire since its a less than 1/3 chance when randomizing.
Sister of the Thorn with staff, ranged crits explode, anytime taking damage gives you crit for 3 seconds, Slaanesh map always draining your health. You become the wizard god of untold power!
Battle Wizard is definitely S teir. Had bad luck the last like 6 runs with her, but she doesnt need good boons to do the dmg. I like the DoT build; Famished Flames with Fire Sword and Coruscation Staff to burn everything, mix that with a few good boons, such as the one that heals with DoT effects.
She can also get insane CDR with the right boons. 20% from a map, 10% from a boon, 30% from Volans' Quickening as a boon and Fires from ash which gives her 3% of Fire Walk back everytime a burning enemy dies.
Do you ever use conflagration? It's my favorite weapon but I never took her to cw

I disagree w/ Ironbreaker placement. That's because if you're willing to give up sniping, the Trollhammer+Drengbarazi Oath is quite a lot of focused Monster damage, as well as ability to stagger a monster into uselessness. In addition, Bomb talents are fairly common, and if you get the 50% of Grenades not-used talent, you can often just use the Trollhammer for special sniping too (if you're a solid shot). It is true that Engineer is a stronger USER of the Trollhammer generally, but Ironbreaker's survivability provides a lot of "fuck up room" for the rest of the team, and can use it much more safely than Engineer.
I personally never use the Trollhammer in the base game, but always take it in CW. Especially in Pubs, being able to solo-control a monster or solo a patrol w/ the Hammer is quite valuable imo.

all of the slayer's talents are good, and work excellently when they're combined.
the only downside are the tier 3 talents, which can easily be circumvented by either getting talents that provide the attack speed/weapon power bonus, or not taking weapon exchange shrines/ being lucky with weapon exchange shrines
also i dont know why the biggest gripe with slayer is that he has no range.
are you using his active skill? you essentially have as much range as you want if you can move effectively
People use weapon exchange? I only use the Upgrades once to legendary.

For Slayer, why use weapon swaps if you know it messes with your perks? I use Slayer often and he's great for bosses (Which you're gonna encounter a lot) and Elites (Again, lots) With dual hammers he's also pretty good at horde clearing. But that's just my 2 cents on it
whatever you say, engineer still has the highest cap imo, if you start with leading shot and get that crit explosion you melt anything.
Sister can get GODLY. I had a game with lightning, explosion on range crit, extra projectile, and gaurantee crit after taking damage. I kept my overcharge medium, vent to take a tiny bit of damage, and now it's basically permanent lightning and explosions, while recovering the health via her talent. The game became a joke. Even a boss went down in seconds with so much lightning and explosions.

Have to say I very much disagree with some of these placements, but nice video nevertheless. I think youre being unfair to bh and slayer and I much prefer merc over grail knight in my party.
Hey nothing wrong with seeing it a different way. These types of videos are meant to generate discussion more than anything else.
The clases are ofcors important but most important thing is who is playing them & how he reacts to things.. & when[before they start or after ...thats important].
Lot of things also depends on boons like Barding gets 10% CDR foir frinds when he ults... add someone else with 2x ult like BM or SoT or GK with the same & other CDR talents.... everything differs on what you get & how team reacts to it & asll that shit.
Personaly I usuallly play Kruber : Hunter , GK & Footknight the last is mostly for fun when I know that my team is good on killing specials I rather go with GK & Huntsman you nead to learn him & dont use mediocre weapons use bret sword & handgun[bow isn't so strong becouse it lacks shieldpiercing & that is a very critical thing to have if you want to be a good elite & special killer,Saltz got his ult for stacked skhielded & Keri got her ult & hunter neads using gun to be not hindered & not delayed on moving to other targets]

SoT - her ult , 25% more healing & lot of posibilities of good combo boons.
WHC - 5% passive class team crit + the taging talent for more, CC & stagering ult & good melee performance.
HUNTER - 5% passive class team crit , best sniper in game[yeah for me BH & waystalker is like "past" theyr still good but they not so flexible as hunter*]
Ranger Vet. or BM. - RW for flexibility & all those drops & free grenade & BM is good in good hands* for CC , dmg to bosses & high posibility of boon combo.

Yuo usually play with popel on DC that you play a lot with but try playing QP with random people & then make a decision on that experience in teamplay as most people play usually qp with one or 2 friends & rarelly it's full team jsut look on lobby list how many games are private & how many are not.
**I personaly hate when people spam her ult whenever it's ready for shit & then they dont have it ready when neaded "becouse it got low couldown" but then they dont have it ready when there is nead of it ; like they start fight with monster's stagering 2x for "what?"?! & then just make it difficult for all other[like 50% of time I see them doing it next thing is they stay in close combat & becosue of that other people lose hp to agro changes on big hit's or grabs & 80% of time the victim is [from what i see usuallly]shade that try to do her ult really it happens all the time when I play QP[as Kruber obviously] with shade & BM in team & I even remember like 6 runs in this week that shade got "betrayed" becous BM don't know what to do with her ult & when = player is more important than class].

I would put Zealot into A tier cause the talents he can get can make him as unkillable as Ranger with some lucky talents (Ranger:-40% after getting hit -30% whilestanding still -30%after headshot yadadada) while dealing pretty good dmg for being this tanky

Zealot got me through my first cata citadel. I think wet Magic’s right and the key is to just forsake the idea of max stacks damage and go for a tanky build. Not as fun but certainly seems fairly viable. I don’t think I went down once in that whole expedition and once I got vauls anvil it was gg’s
Nah. I kick elves wirh regen on team if I have zealot. Its so f annoying when you suddenly lose attack speed and gets rythm off and get hit. It negates any gain from this regen

Watch ThePartyKnife's video on her. If you take the one that resets her ult on crit, then all you need is the exotic boon that makes you crit for 4s upon dealing damage (includes venting) to get unlimited ultimates. If you get either chain lightnings, explosions on crit, or extra ranged shots, you're also crazy good, since she has really high innate crit potential. Essentially there's 3-4 boons that, when you get even one of them, turn you instantly OP. The %'s for that happening are actually really good, better than for any other class since there's so many options.
Only real S tier for chaos wastes are Ranger vet with bomb talent and battle wizard with aoe DOT build

Throwing axes don’t exist in my world. He has access to them, but they’re a pointless weapon if you ask me. If you want range, slayer is not the class to play because he doesn’t mesh at all with the axes. Not to mention throwing axes just aren’t very good on their own. It certainly would not help slayer to take them.
If there was an F tier I'd put Huntsmen in it. Bounty hunter out preforms his damage with ease. Every ten seconds you can octopus blast something sub super armor with the repeater pistol and if it still didn't die you can keep shooting with the 8 remaining bullets or whip out the big F gun. Like, if bounty hunter didn't have to compete with witch hunter's absurdly amazing all around class skill sets and free six seconds of 100% free crits I would take him every time. Chain lightning is just that broken though.

also you can just get hack and slash, a free 5% crit chance, in a game mode were crit chance is important. Weird thing to slip over
anvils should get cheaper the more you buy them imo, so that slayer can actually upgrade on his way to the Red tier without spending all of his money

@@luigiwiiUU you’re not familiar with rogue-likes. everything in them is a major sacrifice, anvils guarantee you keep your weapon and it gets better, no point in lowering price, thats what swaps are for.

had a slayer match with like 100% movespeed and 500% attack speed increase in total. was the most fun i'd had in the game. saying he is D tier just because of the weapons is stupid, you dont need to swap weapons ever.

Waystalker is way out of place. She's one of the worst.... Amaranthe is really nice for CW (compared to being useless in normal games) but its not enough. Her boss experience is awful.
Pyro and engineer should also be one lower. Yes they CAN be good, but you cant count on getting exactly what you want most of the time.
Otherwise looks good.
I am IB main but I can say that Pyro is the most powerful career in CW. With her even Cata is easy as walk in a park. And why the game in the description is fu***n WoW? :-D

I disagree with you on Bounter Hunter and would at least place him in B Tier.
He doesn’t offer all that to the Team compared to the ridiculous WHC, but I found after playing him a lot in Cataclysm CW is that he doesn’t need much to work either.
At most I’d say a 20% CDR map to make him delete bosses. Thanks to the guaranteed crits and 10% of ADS crossbow he can easily shred specials regardless of what trash you get.
He can have guaranteed criticals every 6 seconds and instead of Damage Reduction you can just pick up that Elite Kills refunds ammo. Blessed shots would also allow you to sink in a follow up shot to kill what wasn’t killed by the critical like a Mauler. Granted that is every 10s crits then but still very consistent.
Since the best ranged boons are crit based, I find these guaranteed crits might not be as ridiculous as Sister’s or Engineer, but he’s up there when it comes to consistency.
Whenever I play him I am often screwed by getting talents like “dots heal you” and at most an offensive talent, but I still manage to essentially keep specials pretty much negated even in the 2nd last stage with a +Specials modifier.
… so long as somebody doesn’t pick up ammo while on 23/24.
This List is Bullshit, Slayer is a Killer on CW...u can get so much Movement and Attack Speed. He has high CC. Huntsmen is also good. All high DPS classes are easy to play in CW. But rank Slayet so low is just a joke, i am carrying whole Partys with Slayer. If u get net kill explode after Melee kill u melt down Patrols alone. Imo, there are no bad Careers in CW just bad skill
"Crit is very important" puts the one career with guaranteed Crits every 6 or 10 second in C tier

As a Zealot-Unchained main, I'd call you a scrub as their survivalbility is amazing to save runs where the party didnt get lucky to get all those crit-based abilities which I'd say is about half of the time.

He’s right tho... zero survivability characters don’t fare well in the wastes and as much as I love BH he is a low survivability character in almost every aspect of the word. The fact he loses his dmg reduction only makes it even worse for him.
@@WetMagic I think the 20% cd giving him infinite ults IF he headshots warrants a slightly higher tier. It does require some skill of course. Also he has some good synergies like no ammo consumed on blessed shot + blessed shot resetting on melee kill. That with repeater pistol is pretty great.
