Is this version really tanky? I can't stand builds that aren't tanky makes me wanna quit the league lol 😂
@@davidmaltais2912 lightning coil+pathfinder ascendancy with its usual resist flask and taste of hate flask is really tanky, its quite legendary really, if u want to be extremely tanky and can only die to literal one shots, use defiance amulet unless it got nerfed (only saw that rarity got touched idk), but u will obviously lose damage on the change

@@dejuflorinandrei Yeah Asenath's its a great for clear! About the new belt its hard tp say how rare will be otherwise im really like and planning using in amyn builds if the drop rate is acceptable. Diadem i dont really like because you need to sacrafice soo much good stats and its also kinda rare in the first few day :/

In the leveling phase build is not really socket hungry as I leveled it as my 2nd char, I would add manaforged arrows with frenzy for some charges, maybe it's not much but helped a ton. Love the notes section as well. One of best league start I've had

Amazing guide and the build is very solid. Tankiness is king while playing DoT.
I'm liking that you can literally just pop a couple flasks out if you want to go from tanky to zoomy. And even then you're still pretty tanky.

I almost gave up starting TR next league after the mana nerfs, but I knew someone's going to counter the nerfs. Gonna play this EB version for sure as a starter.
This is why im playing this game patch to patch. Every patch has new tech or thing to fix! Im really like problem solving.
It's a bit sad, I even tried annointing mana reduction + -7 on each piece of gear, doesn't work :(. Also the reduced damage taken on flasks won't apply to shaper pen etc so u will take more damage from ubers now. But I think better for maps?

SO, how do you swap to caustic arrow setup? Do you keep a bow on offhand, or do you swap gems and colors every time you wanna do maps?
You swap out toxic rain and mirage archer to CA and arrow nova. You dont need to change the sockets!
What should i link selfcast toxic rain? im in yellow maps and i struggle with damage
Sometimes u use petrified blood, but sometimes - not. Can u explain why? By the way - is this a must have skill with TR or Pathfinder?

Thank you so much for this video, it was really informative! I've always tried out your builds, and my favorite has to be the Trickster Molten Strike - it's just insane. I'm curious, though, what kind of content this build can handle at league start? I know it's capable of taking on Uber bosses and invitations, but how can I start making my first divines with this build? Also, just a heads up, I don't usually comment in English, but your content is too good to pass up!
Molten strike i would not recomenninding to start with it. You can start as explosive trap then when you have currency start buying the gear!
Heist till LVL 78-80 should give you a good 5 div easily
is it possible to run progenesis and taste of hate? if its not possible which flask is better?
can u go caustic arrow setup with toxic rain on manaforged setup instead for more braindead map clear at endgame? also no wisps so it should be fine even with pretty juiced t16's

@@Peuget2 Ballista style is extremely noob friendly for casuals like myself. And petrified blood is basically immortality during atlas completion.

Hi Peuget, thanks for the build and hard work! I have a question on the endgame POB. You are not using a defensive aura like grace or determination which ends up with almost no armor or evasion. Is that enough defensive wise? You will get hit most of the time, so petrified blood plus high resistance cap plus 87% phys reduction is enough? Thx for clarification!
You converting 98% of physical damage taken to elemental damage taken and then you will reduce this with your high resistances. Also for mapping you will use grace and not petrifiedblood.

Nice guide. Really love toxic rain and want to start with it again. Would you care to explain the difference of this version and the Wilma's unique version? I'm confused in Wich to chose.
Wilma - Ballista totem build
non Wilma - Self cast TR and CA
Wilma's focuses your damage on the turrets so you just need to place them and run away. If you go Wilma's you want to go champion to make use of adrenaline which gives you a huge attack and cast speed buff, which with Wilma's lets you double dip. Very safe, but slower in the dps start up. (Place turret, then turret shoots, then dps happens.) But you won't have the durability of Pathfinder.
Pathfinder uses flask scaling for crazy good defenses. Both builds are good, they result in different play styles. Champ has less TONKYNESS, but you just need to place the turrets then run for your life. In a lot of cases Pathfinder can tank it while taking the damage. I think there will be some advantages with the new automation gem, because we will be "standing still" to attack. We'll see!
Thanks for the guide! In the pobb, there's two TR setups, one with totems, one without. When should each be used, and why two?
The ballista setup in the body armour. non ballista setup in the bow. If we talking about end game setup with the crafted bow. If you using the other methods the order doesnt matter.

You can use both setups. Generally use the ballistas for hard rares/bosses. Or just sprinkle them as you're blazing through a map while using normal TR.
More pods, more dmg. It's an overlapping AoE skill

Hello, in the endgame POB, how dou gewt Ailement allignment immune? ancestral vision give you only 50%- in addition is having 93 spell supress reliable? + 10% with condition of full life
For me its shows 100% suppression without the full life config.
Is toxic rain pathfinder still s tier 3.24
And how the heck i must choose what variation of build to follow. Its like struggling to pick league starter is not enough, now i need to pick the version of league starter that i picked up. There are like 10 at least versions.

Hello, is this build good at doing legion farming, or should I stick to blight as my starter currency money maker?
It's bad for legion, even with caustic arrow setup.
Also would add, peuget may disagree, but u can see on the video generals and chests are surviving

Why not just get a rare ring with despair on hit?

I love tanky builds ... I wasn't happy with my ZDPS tanky build ... you created a build that I may be able to use ... Problems solved :)
What kind of content would you say this build is strong for? decided on TR PF a week before patchnotes but have not figured out what kind of strat to go for
Legion, expedition. Both good currency and easy with this build.

if i don't like to play with balistas, i just change the gems or i need to do many changes?
your ballista are just extra damage, your bow will contain your self cast toxic rain which deals around half of the 5 mill dps on the non endgame setup, ballista TR is in your chestplate and for just extra damage

How cheap is it to get going in comparison to LA deadeye aka doing juiced t16 maps
Really depends on your luck with the quiver because that could take up huge amount of currency very quickly see the crafting section!
How do you survive with low evasion from gear and no grace late game?
Also, I'm skeptical of the mana cost, since you don't take the "regen ES when rare or unique is nearby" on belt or helm. I tested on standard and even with 500+ ES, and ES recharge on helm I ran out of it, and couldn't cast toxic rain. I believe it's mandatory to have 50%+ recharge rate on gear to sustain. Also worked with "non-channeling skill have -x to total mana cost" craft on both rings. I'm not saying it's a bad build, but it will take a lot of currency to get to a level where it's confortable to play without using diadem and screwing over the "phys taken as" mods on helm.
That said, all problems are solvable and this looks pretty solid, so I'll be starting with it in the league.
Taste of hate + Ele flasks + LC + flask effect converts most physical from hits to ele which you greatly reduce.
What does Arrow Nova replace?

I played "TR" last season and I had troubles with bossing. Clear was incredible but single target damage was an issue. Could not get ANY of the big bosses down. This last season currency was not an issue so this was the first time I had a Progenesis, Headhunter etc. All the toys! Still no luck with bosses. were u possibly a ''self-cast'' TR? that kind of build got pretty damn high ceiling for comfortable bossing, ngl. since this build got TR totems, dmg shouldnt be huge issue especially when u should be able to tank most stuff 🤔
Do you think The Tides of Time belt is going to be better than the end game stygian vise, and how can i get to 90% all res and how do you generate power charges for Vast power or its just because you need Towering Threat
I really like the belt! The only question... how rare will be. Its uber shaper drop :/ At the end game version you will take purity of lightning and you will have 90% of that. The rest is 85% and 83%. We take 67% of physical damage as lightning so thats the most important.

Hey Peuget one question about skill setup, early on you use both CA and TR and then do CA, TR and TR ballista, do then just switch to TR and ballista and completely drop CA ?
Caustic arrow is great at map clear - one click and most things die. Toxic Rain is much better at single target - more clicks, but much higher total dps. You don't NEED CA, but it can make for a pleasant leveling experience if you like/want it. If having less gem setups makes your brain feel better, just going with Toxic Rain and 100% fine. Later you need the gem slots and you're more focused into Toxic Rain so Caustic arrow has a bit less value, so we drop it eventually. But whatever works for you honestly. At least, that has been my understanding.

I checked the maps section of the build and chaos resistance is at 3%. How does one survive with 3% chaos res?
unless your hc or playing a specifically tanky build most builds aim to just reach atleast 0percent resistance for chaos res

@@Tosunnnest caustic for clear, TR for bosses. Use both TR self cast and ballista for more dmg on bosses. if you get quill rain just run TR both for clear and boss, it kills caustic arrow dmg

Well LA has 1 big problem for me and its the tankyness. You will die there and there.

LA is good if you're ok with farming 10 hours in yellow/early red maps before proceeding further. And even then, it will have big issues vs real bosses (not ubers), while TR deals with boss progression much easier due to higher single target dps.

Well i league started it in 3.24 and i really feel this build is not good for a league start, it's good for tanking but the damage is really low even for white tier map, i was using a 6-link bow caustic arrow +2 socketed bow gems and a 4-link toxic rain helm +2 aoe gems, the only things i was not using was the divine blessig X malevolence, but the damage is so low i don't think it will "safe" the build
Maybe really good in end-game but for a league starter it's dogshits-tier
Perhaps you were doing something wrong? This is and has been one of the best league starters for years now. Requires basically nothing to get started. You can run a Quill Rain almost to red tier maps.
@@DS-hl7zp i was using a quill rain before swaping for a 6 link bow and the damage was not good either, i don't why my damage was so low. I just think theres is someting missing in is league starter PoB but i can't see what
I've played this in past leagues, this league for some reason my damage feels non existent as well. No clue why.
