    Tesla counts the beeps over the complete trip. After few beeps, the car stops Autopilot. You should touch the wheel before hearing the beeps.

      riseMagic thanks! That's strange, coz that's not what I've been experiencing... anyway I'll try and see if that's still true. How is ignoring the warning defined? Wait till constant beep, double beep, single beep or visual warning?

      Visual warning should do nothing. 1 Single Beep is 1 Strike, double Beep is also 1 Strike. (in theory 1 beep + 2 beeps + holding the wheel + 1 Beep = over).
      I can only tell you what I have read. You better contact your Tesla Salesperson, he can read the log files.
