To shed some light on what exactly happened, FAB canceled a Roman Cancel into j.H. Because the startup of j.H is so slow, this actually just causes Pot to fall to the ground before the attack actually comes out, allowing for crazy shit like this. I've never utilized it myself, but after seeing this I really wanna.
I mean tbh because of pot’s nature of perfectly countering himself in every game doing stupid shit is legitimately one of the only advantages you can etch out in the mirror match
I was pleasantly surprised to see a Pot mirror against FAB uploaded to these kinds of channel cause it means that one crazy Pot managed to win at least once against the goat himself
So this is mega glue sniff tech, you pre jack the prc assuming they'll backdash, jump, or hit a button. Then buffer C.S to punish them. If the pot buster hits tho you're kinda just sat there like what happened.
Like @MammothMD said, you PRC to punish jump or backdash, and against FAB god Potemkin, being able to grab him even once as a Pot is similar to flying to the moon. Extremely hard but of course not impossible.
I'm at awe at HRM cancels, it's so hard to predict since they usually happen outside the usual combo strings and they barely translate into huge damages.
being a grappler pot probably has the single most neutral skips in a character from hammerfall to slide head and now heat tackle and WWA. vs asuka pot is actually even because slide head on ground and heat tackle on air. he's probably losing vs axl but you can flick rensen at the risk of getting grabbed the rest of axl's normals are able to be armoured through so once again slide head to the rescue. aba is the same as everyone, just don't let her get into moroha. they also actually have to time/space meaty danzai properly because pot's grab range is just huge. he's also pretty thick health wise meaning more time required to win and more moroha meter needed to win over pot. although as soon as she's in moroha it's 100% over because your ol reliable back megafist doesn't work against her stupidly big buttons
