    Rahdo just a suggestion that like The Dice Tower if you put in the title the reviewer name if it's not yourself. For example I really like Zee Garcia reviews so when I see his name I will click it. It just means we don't get a surprise when we click on the video and it's not you reviewing it.
    Besides that the review was clean and of a high standard and always up for more game reviews so happy with the change.

    • @rahdo
      @rahdo  Před 4 lety +8

      yeah, i'll probably start doing that once shea is established. if i were to do that right now, a sizable portion of the audience would simply ignore the video, which would be a shame, becasue shea did a better job covering this than i ever could, in exactly the same style that i would have done...

    • @BangersUnfiltered
      @BangersUnfiltered Před 4 lety

      Thanks for the consideration Rahdo. I think it's even more relevant if and when you get the 3rd reviewer on board.
      But I do love that it followed your high quality standard of reviewing and I think that is the most important thing with this change. I believe you are pushing your channel in the right direction so well done on having the courage to make this change.

    Great vid, Shea and Nick!
    Brill to see u on Rahdo's channel, good way to see run-throughs of games he wouldn't normally do.
    I would suggest putting your names or logo on the title, so the "cult-of-rahdo" ppl (only joking!) have fair warning.
    But also, it's just cos ppl are used to Rahdo being solo, so it will take a bit of time to get used to it.
    Btw... I demand a remastered version of the Dune video with Nick in it! He was brill in the TI4 vid as well.
    Regards, Salman

    Great job on this run-through! Super excited for this game.

  • @Dreadbaron
    @Dreadbaron Před 4 lety +1

    This game feels a bit like Star Wars Outer Rim in mechanics and flow. A tad overproduced with the miniatures, which look awesome nonetheless, but might put it out of some people's reach. Liking the story arcs and the nemesis/lover mechanics. Other than that nice job with the runthrough guys, keep it up!

    Gotta say that I thought this was a pure fantasy pirate game because of Tonne's crazy weapon, and then you said you were going to San Juan and I had to pause and think about that because that was a jarring detail to have fantasy take place in a real place. But then I realized that I've played a Dynasty Warriors video game (about a series of wars that actually took place in China) where you can play as a character who swings around a boat as a weapon, and I didn't even bat an eye at that. So, yeah, fair enough, Sea of Legends. Fair enough.

      items and relics
      Many Items and Relics will give you more options during a
      Challenge. Items are single-use, but can have a big impact. On
      the other hand, Relics give you access to special abilities that
      you can usually activate once per Challenge.

    Any idea how this is gonna be for solo? Looks great- but I mainly play solo.

    • @RTFM
      @RTFM Před 4 lety

      Unfortunately I didn't get to try it out solo. I'm not sure if they'll have a separate solo mode or if the rules stay the same when playing by yourself. I do feel that the game will play better with more people, but I could see it utilizing the NPC factions to make an interesting experience. I think the storytelling side of it will be fun regardless.

    Loving this game so far. I've been noticing that more board games are integrating apps in their gameplay/story. Even though this raises the price of the game, i still think its worth it.
