Rahdo just a suggestion that like The Dice Tower if you put in the title the reviewer name if it's not yourself. For example I really like Zee Garcia reviews so when I see his name I will click it. It just means we don't get a surprise when we click on the video and it's not you reviewing it.
Besides that the review was clean and of a high standard and always up for more game reviews so happy with the change.
yeah, i'll probably start doing that once shea is established. if i were to do that right now, a sizable portion of the audience would simply ignore the video, which would be a shame, becasue shea did a better job covering this than i ever could, in exactly the same style that i would have done...
Thanks for the consideration Rahdo. I think it's even more relevant if and when you get the 3rd reviewer on board.
But I do love that it followed your high quality standard of reviewing and I think that is the most important thing with this change. I believe you are pushing your channel in the right direction so well done on having the courage to make this change.
Ohh, you're the guy that taught me how to play TI4! Thought I recognised you guys from somewhere
This is really well done! Reminds me of the Rodney and Pep playthroughs back when WIP used to do those: good job!
Thanks, I got a clear view of the game from this!
excellent!
This is awesome! Loved this run through. The dice roll at the end was epic and love that I can feel the heart break in it haha
Both the Call to Adventure review and this were excellent videos. I hope we see more of you in the future.
We will! :)
Thank you so much!
Great vid, Shea and Nick!
Brill to see u on Rahdo's channel, good way to see run-throughs of games he wouldn't normally do.
I would suggest putting your names or logo on the title, so the "cult-of-rahdo" ppl (only joking!) have fair warning.
But also, it's just cos ppl are used to Rahdo being solo, so it will take a bit of time to get used to it.
Btw... I demand a remastered version of the Dune video with Nick in it! He was brill in the TI4 vid as well.
Regards, Salman
Great job on this run-through! Super excited for this game.
This game feels a bit like Star Wars Outer Rim in mechanics and flow. A tad overproduced with the miniatures, which look awesome nonetheless, but might put it out of some people's reach. Liking the story arcs and the nemesis/lover mechanics. Other than that nice job with the runthrough guys, keep it up!
you did totally miss out on the app?
Near the end of the vid lady Josephine gave you a crew. Could you immediately use them?
I like Shea and I had already watched some of his stuff, but is there an explanation to why he's hosting Rahdo's channel?
He's assisting in running through some of the games Rahdo don't have time to get to.
talking about it in the april roundup: czcams.com/video/h1g00ACXwOw/video.html
@@rahdo thanks Rahdo!
Yeah i dont like being surprised. This Kid is ok but i want my rahdo. Sorry.
i'm not going anywhere. more content from shea doesn't mean less from me. it just means more videos overall for everyone :)
Thanks I loved this run through
Gotta say that I thought this was a pure fantasy pirate game because of Tonne's crazy weapon, and then you said you were going to San Juan and I had to pause and think about that because that was a jarring detail to have fantasy take place in a real place. But then I realized that I've played a Dynasty Warriors video game (about a series of wars that actually took place in China) where you can play as a character who swings around a boat as a weapon, and I didn't even bat an eye at that. So, yeah, fair enough, Sea of Legends. Fair enough.
How many players is this game for? And a great run through
goes up to 4 (although who knows, maybe they'll have a 5p stretch goal) :)
@@rahdo lol, thank you
Great job Mr. Parker!
Thank you very much!
are relics permanent or are they one shots then get discarded like consumables???
here's the rulebook: 4716b287-8309-440c-b90b-044f72205bde.filesusr.com/ugd/67819d_e588efe848f5410e82a9c8562c30c7e2.pdf and from it, i found
items and relics
Many Items and Relics will give you more options during a
Challenge. Items are single-use, but can have a big impact. On
the other hand, Relics give you access to special abilities that
you can usually activate once per Challenge.
Any idea how this is gonna be for solo? Looks great- but I mainly play solo.
Unfortunately I didn't get to try it out solo. I'm not sure if they'll have a separate solo mode or if the rules stay the same when playing by yourself. I do feel that the game will play better with more people, but I could see it utilizing the NPC factions to make an interesting experience. I think the storytelling side of it will be fun regardless.
Check out our Kickstarter page to get a look at some solo play goodness!
30:00 Rich I tells ya baby. It's what Rahdo always says. I miss Rahdo. Where is me Rahdo?
This looks really interesting!
Thanks for the playthrough!
Great review. Glad to see that a pirate board game that pushes all the right buttons, at least for me.
My only negative comment would be: don't roll on the board!! Bad form Jack. LoL.
Loving this game so far. I've been noticing that more board games are integrating apps in their gameplay/story. Even though this raises the price of the game, i still think its worth it.
I agree! Sometimes apps really seem slapped on, but this one does a good job of integrating it into the gameplay.
Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean
timestamp please
This games looks great, but it bothers me immensely to see that the graphic designer chose to completely ignore geographical locations by placing Cartagena in Venezuela. That's in a completely different country!
'kar-ta-hay-na' but it can also be pronounced with a 'jee-na' sound. Both are used
Haha, yeah I was informed of this after I filmed the runthrough. Neither Spanish nor geography were ever my strong suit.
Guess I’m that guy, but the Duelist Sword flavor text has “last scene” instead of “seen”. Not a biggie but if designers are watching might want to change that. 🤷♂️
i will pass it along. good eye! :)
This looks great! Thank you for this!
Great video Mini Rahdo ;)

Shea is a great guy, but I am just not feeling his style.
it's definitely my style, and imo he covered this game better than i ever could :)
@@rahdo Nothing against Shea but it doesn't feel like a Radho Run Through. I am sure others love him. Just a pass for me.
@@GreekPackDragon same feeling... this is just not the same....
I'm really enjoying watching Shea so far, imo it's a great partnership between rahdo and himself, two completely different play styles
He's great. Just a bit jarring to have a new person in an old role. Like every time a new Doctor Who comes along. We'll get used to it.
