i don't think a fresher needs to know about system designs and kafka, i have seen companies asking system designs to 2-3 years of experience in the industry, scalability is also a part of dev ops, you can't expect so much from a fresher and pay them a salary of an intern, the demand supply is the main problem which companies are taking unnecessary advantage of, even a fully functional e-commerce in mern requires a good amount of skill set, so i don't understand what the companies want at this point in time, they expect an intern to know everything of a senior level. The market is just nonsense at this point of time.

When will the situation of job market become normal?
I think the problem is different. We (freshers) try to blindly follow the CZcams tutorials, go into tutorial hell. We never think of alternatives: why mongodb? Does discord use mongo, what did Facebook use - RDBMS, next.js has RSC , but probably pages router could easily be put into CDN - next 14 is expensive - we should invest time in investigating youtubers' choices, learn from articles, follow good creators.
I will never say a fresher can have knowledge of 2-3 years experience people, but this practice of questioning, exploration and some thirst of knowledge is missing. CZcamsrs need views, they will never spend time on teaching how to scale their ecommerce app, cron jobs, security and deployment. At least we should be open to learn these things.
You are in the path of being a senior engineer after a few years - then you need to make big engineering decisions like these.
ya even If you start to do machine learning or data science you need a higher degree ( for a good pay ). Also it's it good to just take a job and start learning slowly about other tech with experience and time
I think that the main reason behind this type of job market is Seniors. Senior Developer has knowledge of very old technologies and don't even know how to design systems. Because of them most of the Freshers who has very high skillset has to suffer.
These seniors just want to enjoy their high salary and don't want to let Freshers come in their place.
In place of 10 seniors looting 50 lakhs per month, some 1-2 seniors + 50 juniors can get that place, even if 20k per month is offered.

Java stack freshers are also jobless. Every company need experience more than one or two years in it. Actually software industry is in recession period and so many layoff are present in every stack. Do MERN or any stack and try hard to apply for many jobs and be well ready for interviews and you will get job.

i think the biggest problem is the over supply of mern stack courses ... when someone goes to learn 'development' he/she is bombarded with MERN , and hence just goes with MERN.

Bhaiya, I was recently started running my minecraft servers on AWS instead of self hosting them on my laptop. I was shocked to know the price that’s charged for the most basic services - free tier is good, but its really costly otherwise. Can you do a DIY cloud series on building common cloud services by renting servers without using major cloud providers?

i think if u know mern u can explore tech like video/audio streaming and like implementation of abs,DASH,DRM then u can explore websocket and webrtc before that u can explore integrationof various types of payment gateway then u can also explore building npm pakages ,chrome extensions i think these content is not easily availabe if u get interest in some tech then u can go for it
sir there is also one thing that recruiter's expect too much from a fresher student and never ready to pay industry level salary or ready to pay such incentive .

@@supremeleader5516 Most tech companies in India want to influence your views and control it. If you dont say good things they will blacklist you. Since they send devices in advance, even if I buy and review them it will be too late and people wont want to watch it.
I cant just talk good things all the time. People abuse youtubers calling them paid and all but still go and watch them because now they have made tons of money to show off and have connections.
I will comeback but only when I can afford to not rely on these brands. Till then I am learning web development.

This full stacks are overwhelming..We are unable to concentrate on any one. Its too much..We are learning things on top. But unable to go in deep. Also there is no much time. Everybody wants people who are experienced. Not freshers. We we are experienced also, they want experienced in that technology only. How can one be equally good at everything? Its nonsense. I dont know who invented all these. 2 years ago I got a call for Power BI developer job asking for 9 years experience. That time Power BI was just 7 years old 😂😂 Companies want people who are experienced but for low payment.

Devops and cloud is also becoming rat race , as per my experience I would say security and operational part is there where not many people are going. Maybe they should explore that , it's an easy access into the core IT .

There is a major difference between the tech stack and computer fundamentals.
Even i don't solve leetcode problems, my problem solving skills are pathetic, that doesn't make the fundamentals useless. If you can't learn it, at-least respect it as the building blocks of the systems. That is the least you can do as computer engineer.

Yes Mern is oversaturated,
Like front-end wise its good and easy to adapt but when we use express library to handle apis it not worth as about the scaling ,performance and security wise.
Like they are IT teams in software industry to moiniter, scale and architecture.
So without the scalability and performance wise apis is not worth.
Prefer react for only frontend and other backend service we need to switch to other technology like spring and integration tools.
Finally companies prefers scalable security solutions for their servers and clients

Mern stack is the solution for web. You will not get a job by only a stack, mern or mean or laraval or springboot you have to create the idea how to make a app from scratch, how to use ai in your app, how to write clean and maintainable code and shoud have knowledge of deploying, docker, cicd etc.
A fresher should know senior level stuff to get a job? That's what you are saying for 5-10 times lesser pay?

I was learning devops but from many people i came to know that companies don't hire devops without tech experience.... So left devops and then i started learning web development now after watching this videos i don't know which way to go..... I don't want big packages. ... Just need internship and then after exp. Low salary will be even great for me.... Just need guidance...... please someone help me out.....
Hey, don't stress too much. Learn one thing, and become the very best in it. That's how you beat the competition. I would recommend ML, React + Next or Spring Boot. Become a master in anyone, only then move on to other stuff.

If you want to stick to web-development and are already familiar with React then you can start with RN as an extended side-skill.
Otherwise, if you want to go for mobile development (good option as it has relatively lesser crowd) - In this case, learn native app development first (Android or iOS) then go for cross-platform dev like RN.
