- Train Buddies (Mike and Chris) along with Aaron take a stroll along a long line of stationary CSX Maintenance of Way (aka: MOW) equipment that is used for upkeep and repairs of the railroad tracks and ties.
Note that this MOW equipment, and all railroad equipment, is private property of the railroad companies. We did not touch any of the equipment.
Thanks for watching!

I remember CSX used to have orange maintenance-of-way locomotives. They have old locomotives they were going to use for scrap, but they decided to paint them orange and use them for maintenance of way. But now they don't have them anymore. I kind of wish they would have kept them. I live in Chester, South Carolina. We have three railroad lines in our town. We have Norfolk Southern, CSX, and we have a shortline, Lancaster & Chester railroad which interchanges with Norfolk Southern
great!
From Kentucky too!
Awesome video!
Awesome! Thank you!
That's a steel gang. They remove old rail and install new rail. The big truck is a portable rail welder.
