Rampage jackson is a legend. We should appreciate that he's doing these podcasts. Nothing but love!!
Tank is how us middle aged fellas found out about UFC. He belongs in the HoF
We used to call him truck driver guy, dan Severn was fireman
I'm 37 and I was watching Tank as a kid (mom didn't even know what UFC was, so I got away with it pretty easy).
First I ever heard of these type of fights and first I watched was Tank. I remember thinking "wow he doesn't just fake wrestle he actually fights, that's cool"
I'm 43. Watched all Tank fights soon as they came out. Still wawatch today.
Tank isn't apologetic enough. He's 2 big to be small enough for an apology. I'm a huge Tank fan but thts a major flaw of his. He's a pillar in mma and deserves HOF IN MMA
So glad he’s healthy and has found some peace. His wife sounds like an angel…
It’s amazing how powerful this guy was at one time. He benched 600 and did freaking upright rows with 315. Insane!!! Also amazing how time changes people, both mentally and physically.
Man looking at Tank now makes me feel old. 40 now and used to watch this guys fights in my 20’s and back then they were old. To those reading this age with grace and respect the elderly, some of them were badass and could share incredible stories
We are old dude.it sucks
If you are 40 and were watching tank in your 20”s , that was already past his prime, post UFC, end of his fighting career Tank…….just sayin.
I'm 58 I was in my 20s the first time,Tank fought in the UFC when he nearly killed that huge Samoan. I was a fan ever since. It sucks to get older, but you have to take care of yourself. I'm More active than the majority of these, 20-year-olds today. Most of them sit and play video games all day, while I go to the gym three times a week, and I still train with the young guys, and my 24-year-old son in MMA 5 nights a week. 40 not old we're from a different generation, you still got it. And so does anybody else who's reading this. You just need to do it. You just need to live guys. God bless.
Tank ain't bullshittin'...my mom had issues with her liver and the ammonia build-up made her INSANE.
It’s hyperammonemia. Caused by poor liver function. Caused by alcoholism damaging the liver.
well, that explains a lot. His kidneys are fucked and I think his liver is too.
@@zetsumei1017he had a liver transplant and a kidney transplant
It's why Tank needed and got a Liiver transplant
I liked Tank when he put the cab driver to sleep & stiffed him. Lol “thanks for the lift!”
Get tank into the hall of fame ❤
If he can change for the better than ANYONE can change, hats off to him for living a better life
I had back surgery and was in the hospital a couple days, and they had me maxed out on IV pain med. My family left me with a fully charged cellphone… smh… I called EVERYONE in that phone. My friends, my ex, old and current employers, even the Pastor of my church (smh)…….Soooo ye I feel you Tank !! Glad to see him doing well!
Lol
HOF ceremony during UFC 305
Lookin and sounding good Tank
With 100 guesses I don't think I would have thought of Tank
Awesome. He was on Rogan too and I'm about 60% into the interview so I don't know if he touched on any of this but he surely touched on the history of the No Holds Barred days prior to UFC and the early days of The UFC. I love what he said about jiu jitsu "Hey we went around to a bunch of places trying to find out WTH about all this. I wrestled, my guys were solid wrestlers so we're like WTH. So we show up to one place and my guys get smoked. Then they get to me and one guy who's like a black belt, one of the better first gen Gracie's took my arm for an armbar and I looked at him like if you're seriously trying to rip my arm off I'm going to seriously slam you on your head and then punch you once this arm is loose because I will get it loose". Then the guy let it go. lol. But Tank also went on to say "See I'm a fighter and to me all is on the table. There's a difference between being skilled and truly being a fighter who doesn't give a shit. I never gave a shit. Royce Gracie for example is skilled but also doesn't quit. But is he a figthter? I say yes based on his skill, but guys like me back then? Laughed at all that shit and didnt' care either way we just wanted to fight."
You can tell he actually means is apologize. Hopefully Dana see this.
Tf language is this
@@Chillllllbruh Says the dork using "TF," "chill," and "bruh." The dudes probably writing in a second language, give it a rest.
@@Chillllllbruh idk lol fr fml
I love Jackson,man.. he’s been one of the best men you’ll ever meet, for a long time. Way before when it wasn’t “cool” and in style..Rampage was always real as they come but a GOOD version of a man. And a big shout-out to Tank..we’ve never met but like millions of others,we know you bro 🤙🏼😉 And God bless the Tank
Tank: "I'm not just a drunk asshole, i'm also totally crazy"
You're not alone Tank, i know what it's like to blk. Out and not rem. And people telling you the crazy things i had done. Proud of you sir, takes a real man to apologize like you did, God speed !!!
ahah damn tank became a sweet regular ass old guy who would have thought!
Yeah he would still probably throw down if you said his name wrong 😅
I like tank so much. Dude was an absolute stud back in the day, but he’s such an interesting personality. Crazy combo of physical gifts, mental toughness, and thoughtfulness. He’s fascinating.
I have a buddy that calls everybody when he's trashed to tell us how much he loves us! 😂
Serum ammonia elevations cause all sorts of bad things, starting with profound confusion, and all the bad behaviors that can go with it. Not a good deal.
I also looked it up. Seems like he has a severe case. Caused by the liver failing and most likely alcoholism.
Finally... I've been telling people for 30 years, I actually met, and partied with, Tank...at a strip club (when I was 21). *ONE OF THE MOST POLITE, HUMBLE, AND FUN PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET.* He was with the same bald biker (black leather jacket) dude that always would walk out with Tank. The entire time, Tank kept smiling, sharing stories, and insisting that his friend, the biker dude, could/would kick Tank's ass...that he was even more of a Bad Ass. The friend didn't dismiss it either. He just had a look on his face like "Yup, I could". I didn't sense a whiff of rudeness from Tank. More than a couple random dudes tried to mess with Tank. He kept just laughing it off. I'm telling you, Tank might've had his moments, but the dude I met, such a cool dude.
BTW...He was in town (Salt Lake City) training a bit of Jiu-Jitsu. **ahem** I don't think he stayed in town, drilling his Jits, very long 🫢😆
Seriously though...Tank: VERY COOL GUY 🤙
What a lovely story and you tell it so well. 🤠
@@masterofreality1552 well it's all fake. Dude says he's been telling people for 30 years that he met him when he was 21? So he is supposed to be 51 according to his story...but look at the profile picture...dude looks in his 30s. So how could he be telling people for 30 years.

Legends! Loved this.
The ammonia on the brain/in the body thing is very real & makes you something wholly different!!
Tank is an HB legend, We use to drink at el ramchito on Main Street!! Always a cool cat with me !!! And at lugattis…. Tank and his Laptop that didn’t work was always funny!!! 🤙🏽…. Looking good dood !!!
Copied and pasted this huh?
Respect!
I can relate with the burden Mr.Abbot carries. My nickname in basic training said it all. It is what it is.
Looking back on myself as a young man is sometimes difficult.
Many disagreements with people and I went full bore tyrant. The thing about it is that I have zero recollection of the mean, nasty things people have said to me. I can only recollect the mean, nasty things I’ve said to others and it casts inner shame.
I do my best to leave my childish ways and thoughts of the past in the past, but every so often I get faced with it. In spit of my mean spiritedness in the past I have managed to keep many old friends. What makes them friends is their willingness to hold me accountable to straight up ordinary citizenship, not their own agenda or ideas. Just common decency. Good conduct and humility isn’t a big ask. If I would have cooperated just a slight bit more when I was younger I wouldn’t have near as many regrets. Not to say my thoughts are dominated by regrets. I’ve got many proud learning moments that I can remember too.
We’ve all been just as much of a big help to someone beyond the levels of our imaginations.
We’ve all helped, we’ve all hurt. Nobody is perfect.
I respect those that don’t hide and do not ignore their transgressions.
It’s my belief that the future does not belong to the people that are free of regret and mistakes. Rather it’s owned by the minds that own their past decisions and mistakes and learn from them. The ones that share their transgressions so that others may learn from them.
While we all can’t go on with one past regret after another. We will all do good not to forget that none are perfect.
Tank was a real deal brawler. Straight up badass.
That's really tough. I know that causes confusion and memory lapse.
He's lucky he never got shot.
Theres a good reason the Gracies didnt want to fight him.
you are a good dude Rampage!
Tank abbot looks like a very convincing commissioner gordon
Haha yeah no shit he could play some Columbo character pretty well I think 😅
Legend
Man was entertaining, nice to see tank reflecting on his past behaviour. Some people do change for the better.
When is Dana coming on?
Love to hear tank now this a man that made a turn around with the way he thinks . Joe Rogan need to put him on
He just did it was a good one...Tank cracked his shell in that one!
wow he looks totally different now.... hes really clean cut now
We love you Tank. You went through hell and it's good to see you on this side now
That’s Tank? He looks totally different. Does he still want to fight Joe Rogan?😂
Joe would probably have beaten prime tank. Everyone else did.
@@user-of9qq6op5u No everyone didn't
@user-of9qq6op5u no class. Prime Tank was a show to be seen. Dude used to bench 600lbs.
@@user-of9qq6op5u No they didn't...
@@user-of9qq6op5uthat’s not true Tank had some solid wins
People always have a reason for why it wasn’t them
Tank called Dana and told him he wanted to oil him up!
I had to quit drinking at 22 for this reason
He’s a good dude
Maybe my own karma will catch me one day but watching this series of this dude is nothing short of realizing karma has caught up with this dude/asshole. Time has a way of dealing with us all
Wow, didnt recognize him in the thumbnail
Took one minute in the video
Woah
Jackson has put on that weight.
I can't even recognize him wow
Tank for the HOF in 2024
Wow that’s tank Abbott he looks total different
Respect tank
This guy used to bench 600ibs
Ego....dirt b&g......Then your health scare ....shook your foundation to the core.
Was this sponsored by Jaxxon?
PSYCH! Tank's going to call up Dana & call him a F**!
Lmao 😂
Imagine some punks thinking this guy is a pushover. Tank was crazy, sounds like that might actually be true. He’s a legend tho.
Wtf is that Tank Abbott? What happened?
Is that Tank Abbot? 🫨
yes
@@lonniehursey4048 he changed a LOT 😝
Well its been like thirty years of fighting and partying since the cage days he was famous in.
@@raphaelverminhe looka way different then he did 5 years ago lol
Ok so what he's saying is this guy's if u don't follow.....his liver is shot.....so if your liver is not working the toxins that goes through your liver doesn't get filtration it goes to your brain.....so imagine toxins in your brain and he's not drunk so it's not him.per say it's the toxicity infiltrating your brain and you can only imagine what you do say or act out....people will think your crazy but in reality your brain is being attacked with toxins. It's very common with alcoholics whos liver don't work.
Tankless
You also just said alot of things, without saying anything
Its called a DEMON in your body rebuke and cast out that vile DEMON in the name of JESUS CHRIST and by the BLOOD!
I watched the UFC since 1993, All the guys would get together and have a big party to watch the UFC, I remember when Tank brutally Ko'd , that huge Samoan we were instantly all a fan of him. He deserves to go into the UFC Hall of Fame.
Legend on a legends podcast 👍💥💣💥👍
This dude threw up a 600lb bench press like nothing. Stupid strong
