I caught an icey black Appaloosa day before yesterday. I didn’t use the methods in the video tho. Basically I bought a ton of lassos, I don’t remember how many, and picked Two islands. I chose forest and blizzard. Forest because I love all the hairs you can find there, and blizzard because an icey winter event horse would be so cool! Anyway I caught every horse, good or bad, on forest and did the same on blizzard and then back to forest. I did that over and over again until I ran out of lassos. Somewhere in there I found the icey black Appaloosa and I also found a snowstorm perch, an elf friesian and of course plenty of the winter Icelandic, akhal teke and reindeer lol
I have been playing to an extent that probably warrants a full family intervention, since winter event 😹, and still have not been able to find that elf fri anywhere! That is amazing
I mostly iuh hunt on volcano, manly because i REALLY want the prismatic mane and tail, but i always check every island, just in case there is a iuh on one of the islands.. but ive been hunting for almost 3 years now.. and.. havnt found a single iuh. 😭😭😭 But anyways great video! ❤❤

If you want to hunt on one island, jungle is the best since there are enough spawns spread out that the horses respawn by the time you get back to the start
a MASSIVE tip, it not about luck actually, if you look, there is a lasso underneath your name, there's a percentage bar on it.if its at least 90 or 80 there's a chance you might catch one. You will find one. if you keep catching rare coats and events you will get you percentage up. and that will give you a gift. the gift ofc is luck.

I did the exact same thing lol. A few days after I started playing the game I caught a leafy quarter horse. I remember just thinking it looked different but then everyone in the chat started freaking out lol. I had no idea what an iuh was
@@Hazel.K.8 Mine is QH Icey black… I wasn’t gonna bother when I saw the horse, bc on my little phone screen, the icey black looked EXACTLY like a regular black QH , but then up closer saw the # on the lasso throw counter which made me curious. I’ve heard some of the other Iuh can look like regular common coats till u get up close/pull out the lasso, so I try to be more attentive now lol Anyway- the leafy is awesome & 3 days to the game in is like some serious beginners luck! I can imagine a good portion of the server was jealous at that moment haha I would love to catch any of the lunar island ones especially, next
Just for everyone’s information you get around 40k for catching every horse on every islands! It obviously depends what horses there are but every time you will get around 40k❤
Not sure if this is the same thing you are trying to explain, but I did notice a few times that if I ignore my private server for a solid 3-4 days or so, it seems like it suddenly throws more rare or event horses at me when I do finally return. As if they want to remind players why they might want to keep subscribing to the private server lol. Yet if I go on it for a long time repeatedly without that break, I can empty off an island several times over w/o leaving yet it seems to go back to spawning nothing but low tier horses
I stayed on one island and I caught two hundred horses on jungle and still no island hair unicorns. And that was on a private server man that took a long time. I now I ve got to go out and hunt for rocks and minerals to get them back up.

I hate it when that happens 😅 i started screaming once bc i was on lunar and i thought a fjord had pearly black , but ik thats on volcano so i lost hope immediately lol. It was dark grey lol! Whi can be such a pain sometimes. 😭
@Barrleracingismything the instructions? if you mean the (L) and above blizzard is low-mid tier, forest is low & low-mid tier, desert is low-mid tier, & mid tier, jungle is mid tier & mid-high tier, lunar is mid-high tier & high tier and volcano is high tier. (PS, SOME ARE WORK IN PROGRESS and breeds also determine the value of iuhs too!)
I caught mine jan 1st 2024 at 12:06 Am it was my 776 day of hunting and he is a red Pearl tb perm nft I call him my ‘new year new me’ horse but his name is wet toilet paper and Dec 31st I traded for a Ruby Andy now I have two lol but my tb was my first wc that’s why he is nft but my Andy is!
I’ve got a guilt thing ima reveal I needed to catch a dapple pal tb to finish my list of them right? I saw this person on main halfway through catching one and I knew if I try to catch it, it would say they were and so I tried to ask them if I could catch it instead and they said no so I just kept distracting them until I ran after it because they hadn’t been trying to catch up for a while because I was arguing with them and I was able to catch it. I made them pretty mad that day. 😂
Dw I have caught 8,247 and I only caught 1!! My tips are just put on a movie or a live stream or something and get loads of lassos like 100-500 and pick 2 islands and just catch every horse on those islands! And make sure to get herds because I caught mine in a herd on forest! But check all the islands first to make sure there isn’t one there! Hope this helps

U can catch iuhs only by catching horses they mostly spawn abt 1-2 hours but u gotta work ALOT
