The low alpha is actually kind of cool. It's nice to see a different tank, rather then the standard well armoured high alpha mediums that are becoming more and more common.

@@Akrilloth Skorpion G, E25, E75 TS isn't bad either, also the KPz 50t is pretty good, although it's a reward and not necessarily a premium tonk.

@@DefinitelyNotEmma Oh man, the e75 TS would have been great if it had 140 rather than 120 upper glacis armor, that or 10 degrees of depression like the löwe it is so similar to. Its such a fun tank to use, but it has just not enough armor to bounce heat when hulldowned.
@@Akrilloth true, but I think it's strength is side scrape and it pretty decent mobility for its weight and size.
I think tanks need weak spots and I think the E75 TS is a well balanced tank. But of course something isn't right when you have balanced tanks like the E75 TS, KaJaPa 105, M4A1 Rev, or Senlac when you have completely broken tanks like the LT-432, Obj 252U, Skorpion, Borrasque (sorry if I typed it wrong) or the Lorraine (I think the Lorraine is pretty broken).

Japanese TD branch is also needed, funny enough the Blitz version got them before the PC. But still there are alot of Japanese vehicles they could add as premium, idk how the STA 2 still remains as the only Japanese tier 8 after all these years lol

A flanking pot it is. It's basically a french medium cosplaying in Germany as a kitchen utensil.
You lost those mini map rings by activating free cam. You probably can get them back after you deactivate it and go into settings and deselect and select them again.

It's rational. Assuming you work, $20 an hour, tank costs $80, 4 hours and it's yours or alternatively grind for 40 hours and lose a potential $800
Many would argue that rationality is always balanced.
What he suggested is the most balanced way to get the tank.

It's really strange that the outer "basket" of the turret isn't considered as spaced armor.
The tank overall looks very nice and fun to play if you use it's strengths right.
Spaced-armor is getting considerably nerfed by the HE changes coming soon
The "other basket" is the lower half of the oscillating turret xD
kinda just wished the entire turret dipped much like the tier 10 LT, cause yea that would surely count as spaced armor, its so weird how it has pretty decent hull armour but the turret is butter...
The turret itself have only 15 mm armor so even He can destroy it. :-)

So 200 dmg shells cost 345 credits and 280 dmg shells cost 252 credits. Logic
Centurion tanks laugh at how cheap the shells are 🙄 - 680 credits for 230 DMG.... Am I a joke to you? 😄

@@tyroneroche14 nah, the centurion has 83mm shells while having the highest costs. I remember when I was grinding the Caernavon in the past with the 20 pounder with barely any creds left and had to under load the tank as I did not have enough creds to fully load the tank with ammo. Ran out of ammo the next game

It is about the chance and the possible amount of damage you can deal. The shell velocity of the panthers grenades is much better. And the centurion has 226 mm pen vs the 205 mm of the kpfpz and the panther.
Thank you for these tank reviews. These are really valuable and tell how each tank is supposed to be played so you don't play it wrong and get better results.
*sigh* stopped playing the game a few months ago, now they release a gorgeous looking, interesting to play tank for my favorite nation *in a marathon*

Different track types do perform better or worse on different ground types, this is one of the more realistic additions they have done, just like road tires and mudding tires are different and perform differently @6:00

I think the HE rounds are going to be great against the Bourasque. Other than that, it'll be fun the first few times I play it, then sit in my garage.

Seems like a nice tank,it has good dispersion, ground resistances,speed,rotation, speed,mobility,dpm accuracy,he rounds. Only downside is bad shell velocity.
So it's OP? Just what the game needs.
@@britinmadrid no armor, not that great camo. Not OP you need to know how to play this tank. Not great normal pen and mediocre heat pen. Could be OP in hands of a good player but thats the case with most tanks. I think this might be good/balanced but not OP. but time will tell.
@@britinmadrid weak turret armor means that even a team of Muppets will grind you down. Bad shell velocity, mediocre accuracy prevent you from camping in the back. Yes, it can be OP if you're a good player on a favorable map against a bad team.
ironically the shell velocity goes from being sub par to being the best at tier 8 simply by tapping the 2 key. it also allows you to melt through heavy tanks
has really nice detail with all the spare tracks and such
Just as a heads up, this tank does have decent frontal hull armor. both the upper and lower glacis plates are 115mm so you can poke corners very well. Both plates will get to 240-270mm of effective armor, and as long as you hide your inner track wheel, you can bounce quite a few tier 8 and 9s while putting 2 shots into them in return.
So you can play this in cities, if you do it right, a small sliver of your turret would be visible but how often would they think to shoot that instead of your tasty looking front plate.

My kind of tank. I like to think a lot and formulate plans in my head when i play these fast and sneaky tanks.
slow soft terrain maybe something to do with track WIDTH. Thinner tracks move faster on harder ground & slower on softer ground (because they sink into the sand/mud/soft terrain). I haven't seen the tracks yet, but that'd be my guess.
the turret shape and gun position make it look like a Boiling Pan.

I think WG didn't want the tank to be too similar to a light tank and be played as such.
I love to use commanders vision system instead of coated optics on my medium tanks. You should try it out sometime
Having watched the replay, I'd say there was a big argument for having the accuracy module on this - instead of either vents or stabs depending on what crew you have. You're going to be sniping a lot and due to slow shell speed, missing fast targets a lot too, so you need to make sure you hit the slower stuff more reliably to take advantage of that dpm.
Quite a few targets, you might be able to thwack really hard with HE too, so it's worth having 15 HE shells on this, I'd say...unless and until WG mess up HE :(

Glad I watched this video. Kpz 07 RH seems like a rather complicated vehicle to fight, so I am glad I didn't waste a lot of time trying to grind to get it. I didn't hear QB mention that this vehicle appears to have an oscillating turret. That would explain the poor turret armor, since it appears to have achieved it's oscillation by having it's actual turret mounted within a full turret ring. Not very efficient design, and not very typically German. This vehicle should actually have an additional damage mode because of this goofy design. The outer turret ring, which cannot be terribly thick, would be easily dented or deformed by shell impacts. This would tend to jamb the turret in elevation. Very problematic in combat. Thanks for the great intel, QB.
I really like what they did with the Panther 8.8, it was powercreeped and now it is quite enjoyable! 280 damage with this type of dpm isn't that bad! It is now up to date to how it was with the intention of its introduction: as strong or slightly weaker than its tier VIII counterpart, the Panther II. For me I prefer the increase in alpha while remaining the dpm over the mobility increase of the Kamfpanzer 07 RH!

You know weirdly enough, I've never gone past tier 5 in any of the German tank lines due to me playing other nations so this might be a good tank for me to get to actually grind down the German med line at some point in the future
The only german line worth investing is the e100 trust me pal i got all german tanks it was my first tech tree i only play e100 often maus is a troll and other tanks are garbage

little late here, but what would you say is better. the Kunze Panzer or the Kampfpanzer 07 RH? both are glass cannons with great mobility, decent cammo and amazing dpm. the Kunze Panzer is only accuret when its in siege mode, where it sacrifices DPM for gun depression, but its smaler... id like to know!
(we will ignore that one is tier IX and the other one is tier VIII.)

That armor scheme makes me think of how the WT E 100's armor was like: Pretty good hull armor, but turret armor that would make some tier 5's die of laughter.
In any case, this tank makes me think of a Tiger 1 that *didn't* have a severe case of arthritis (I always say that the Tiger 1 is a medium tank with a severe case of arthritis).
I mean, its a tier 5-6 vehicle forced up to tier 7 and given a tier 8 medium tank gun.
Welp, sounds like a new stronghold meta tier 8 tank to use with the spaghetto progetto and the flying baguette.

I have an engineering beef with this tank. When the turret oscillates down, it should bind with the outer shell in the front and the reverse in the rear when pitching up?
...or vice versa? Also, when the turret is penetrated- the hole should cause a binding between the outer and inner sections? or I am just full of gasss!

This looks like a fun tank - apart from its peculiar, not to say bad looks - but I was hoping for it to be able to effectively counter those ennoying French wheels. But with those slow standard rounds... nah.

what have bitrate with 1080 or 1440p??? :-) Bitrates Mbps are the ones who differ good or bad quality of video... simply increasing Mbps of video and no problem.
This tank in games with equal and lower tanks will be a nightmare to fight against. KV-2s will love to shoot these tanks if they can.
This tank looks like it would have had an autoloader if it was produced; the hole at the back of the turret looks like it would be for automatic ejection of spent shell casings.
Not to mention the amazing reload :P
I just realized, i can get a higher dpm with my m10 french td, than a stock leopard 1 :D
i think they turned a British Comet into a German premium tank... what do you think?

1. M48 Rpz. 152 hull armor,
2. Kampfpanzer 07 115 hull armor,
3. Panther II 100 hull armor.
The HE is so effective, with 90mm of pen! and dmg of 320, it'd be tasty to hit against Swedish tds and some lightly armoured tanks...just a full loadout with he.

Isnt the turret double since its oscillating, meaning that what u pointed out is wrong about the armour thickness or did u calculate that in when u did the comments.
The outer armor on the turret is for some reason not considered spaced armor, but core armor, hence its 80mm, no matter what the armor of the inner turret is.

I prefer my mediums able to at least bounce lower level guns... As it is, even T6 can shred you if shoiting turret.

Feels like an op tier 5 tank scaled to t8, but the only things scaled are the hp/pen and alpha and even those feel low for t8. Weird tank

The tank has 5.0 dispersion after firing lol, and given the 4 or so sec of reload time, of course you need to use vert stabs to mitigate that (and yes vert stabs improve your dispersion after firing, that’s why it’s super important for autoloaders)
@@cirlu_bd take it don't take it does not really matter in the end and what you said is true but bet when i play it without and have vents i probs do just as well as people with vert stabs but have to wait a see
@@cirlu_bd i am playing it rn without vert stabs, i have no issues as the tank has 1.3 second aim time, if aimtime was 2 sec or more then ofc vert stab is a must. without vert stab in this tank only time dispersion will suck is when u trying to snapshot far in move
