I don't get why people don't like this guy. Self-aware, humble, respectful, and well-spoken. Not to mention he has one of the most exciting fighting styles in the UFC

Most people like the hard working overachiever as opposed to the supremely talented young stud that everything seems to come easily to. This is why everyone loves Randy Couture and hates Jon Jones. It doesn't help he has weird hair, wears sunglasses at press conferences, etc. If he was clean cut, left out the "I snipe guys" comments, & was quieter, he'd be more well liked. That doesn't mean he'd make as much money, but he'd be more likable.
A lot of people do like him. In anything no matter what you do, not everyone will like you. Also when you choose to be flashy people try to find a reason to hate. But watch how many more fans pop up if he wins convincingly, if he barely wins they’ll make excuses.

Usman is a wrestler, Aljo is a grappler, they are nowhere alike.
To be fair aljo is a wrestler aswell.. but his grappling stands out more. But no mistake his uncontrollable urge to constantly shoot take downs non stop is his wrestling mindset. That shit never leaves you. ESP if u did it in college I can only imagine those instincts are not leaving anytime soon. I haven’t been on the mat since high school 14 years ago.. but I could still shoot a double or high c like it was yesterday.

I feel like Sean's coach may be the X factor here. Tim is excellent at catching weaknesses during fights and gives effective corner advice to capitalize. Aljo is a flow fighter so his coaches mainly act as motivators and they keep their instructions more general. Interesting match up.

He rolled with and defended Yan pretty well…that’s an impressive stat. But unlike Aljo, OMalley is incredibly dangerous on his feet. His angles and defense are top notch. Able to use every inch of his reach to his advantage.

This isn't as big as an event as it should be, because of the way Sean has got here and who Al-Jo is. Al-Jo isn't the most exciting fighter (although very effective) and Sean is exciting, but his last fights although he's won, just sorta feels like he is going through the motions.

I'm a huge Sean fan. Skill wise i think aljo is far ahead. Hes an overall complete fighter and hes been there with some tough guys. Sean wont beat u in a point fight if youre just as good as him or better. But what he can do is take damage and deal out significant damage and shut your ligjts out. Youll beat him on skills but hes so creative he finds a way to stay and fight and land.
He’s only had one fight you can really say that tho. Aside from Yan, he’s pretty much dominated everyone
Aljo is massive. He loses alot of weight. Thats why this is his last fight at 35.
