You have to activate the energies first. But first you have to let go of doubt. Doubt like fear is the mind killer, because they are synonymous. Then you need several tools provided at birth. Imagination, concentration, visualization. If you can manage to use all 3 at once then you can begin to use and develop greater abilities that science and society calls magic or supernatural abilities. There are other steps but ill keep it simple at this time. The energy is the same all though it has many names by cultures over time

I have read Nietzsche a long time ago, but he wasn't an optimistic person. He was a nihilist. E.g. nothing really mattered for him. That's what nihil means, nothing. So, this "will to power" which stands at the title of the book, is not about encouraging people to go for their dreams. It's quite the opposite. It laments people's innate desire to have more power, which causes them to be in constant competition with one another. The will to power is not something which you should use, but rather, something you must overcome. That's what a true nihilistic philosophy is about. It's very close to Buddhism actually. It's about being surrounded by conflict, temptations, suffering, wealth, happiness, war, cries, pleasures, or whatever, and not letting anything influence you. I don't know if this person who made this video even read the will to power. But it's not a good book to give to read to someone who just starts their life and you want them to be ambitious. It kind of ruined my ambitions early on, cause I read it before I finished high school, so it was before I started thinking of applying to universities. It single handedly destroyed my ambition to become a computer programmer and be wealthy. It made me think how silly the will to power really is. If we reduce human beings to just their will to power, they become nothing but empty shells consumed by ambition. There's a lot more to being human than ambition. I'm not quite sure what, but there is something deeper. If you see it as just ambition and people at constant odds with one another, you become nihilistic too.
I went to programming school to realize there must be more than punching keys to buy a Land Rover and house and stuff. You read it earlier for a good reason.

@ericdavis8875 maybe. Though I'm thinking of going back into programming or programming-related job. The job market is so cruel right now to non-programmers. It's nothing for us at all, not decent enough to live on anyway. If I wanted to be a writer or artist, I would almost starve. That's why I appreciate Nietzsche and nihilism, but he was rich. Us poor people can't afford to be nihilist. We have to care about something cause we've got bills to pay. Nihilism is never gonna become popular because of that. Kant idealism has become the norm, or Utilitarianism where we aim for the greatest benefit for the greatest number of people. What the absolute truth is, no one cares anymore, just about how we can get most benefit. And it makes sense. You can only understand this when you're older.

A band rocks hard for 3 years refining their craft and songs and gets signed (old days). The songs are hungry and polished...we feel it.
They get rushed into making the 2nd album and maybe wrote 3 songs on the road (hopefully) but are tired. We feel it, but maybe a couple tunes have enough.
The 3rd album they don't make that mistake, are very good musicians and tight from being on the road as well as having worldly experience and POW a total blockbuster! They actually make money touring and the dream comes alive... and they get scared of killing the golden goose and stop growing. Becoming a cover band of themselves.
Need money? Do what you need to.
Art is a need to itself and if we are determined to eat by it we'd better be ready for reduction.
