At least this one has competitive potential unlike those roll the dice type of games where the devs just throw millions of dollars at it and call it an esport.
Well facit is already set up with servers and ranking at 128 tick. So yeah I think there is potential. Would love to see in game ranks and a display for matches I have won and so on. I think there is definitely competitive potential especially in trios.
Honestly I really like the super low ammo count as it really makes you want to be efficient with every single bullet and puts you on edge when youve got that one last shot left ib the hopes of fragging another player to loo their stuff :)

In my opinion you should have to pay for Prime, then get level 21 or whatever and lastly enable Stream Guard. Otherwise cheaters are just going to pay to ruin otherwise decent matches. At least this way they would pay, then pay for a new phone number and then grind to level 21 (unless they buy an account)

Because they're already dead technically and some profit is better than none. CSGO f2p was a strategic move not a charity move. They don't care about the older games.

I dont really understand the trust factor. I have never in 5 years of csgo recoeved angry comments on how i behave (accused of cheating a few times) but never even gotten a notice that ive done something bad. So I decided to try trust factor and for 10 games straight I got teammates griefing, screaming, insulting and not caring about the game at all? Is this something i have to meat push through or am I out in the blue here?
Albin Lundberg Its a pretty complex algorithm, and not all the factors are known. It could be something else you havent thought of. Maybe to get a good score, you also need to do positive things, not just avoid negative things. Maybe do overwatch, play more, get commendations, etc (I really am not more informed than you, so take this with a grain of salt)

@@noohp7305 If you remember what Counter-Strike Source was like back in the day you'd understand and that was my favourite version of CS, played it to death and yes, when you butcher a game this much by turning it into some crappy Battle Royale mod and making it free to play then you're killing what made it special. They could have done way more content wise, forget battle royale just adding a ton of new maps to have fun with and yes, okay if you want to have Battle Royale fine but put in some other games modes as well for those who want to play a proper team deathmatch game. It's not necessarily the game mode by itself that has made the game shit, like other games developers valve is clearly trying to adopt micro-transaction and make games F2P and they could not give a shit about customers who actually want to pay for a fun game. I guess my weird mindset is I'm a gaming purist that considers micro-transactions especially in games to be cancer and it ruins what games were supposed to be about, having fun. Now developers everywhere seem to be adopting predatory gambling mechanics as their business models to the point that the government is even getting involved in their regulation. There are very few major games titles left now that don't adopt these shitty business practices.

Keep in mind that if your video isn't deemed "popular" by CZcams's standards, you won't get your video re-encoded to vp9. Trust me, avc1 looks like got garbage in scenes that have grass, it's not defined well, and finally, I've heard that if your previous videos don't get encoded in vp09 for any reason, your latest videos won't either. @@DaniIhzaFarrosi So, when you upload a video to CZcams it's encoded to avc1, this is a codec that, to simplify, kind of compresses your video, and thus losing quality and definition in the process, though, if you upload a video in 1440p or 4K, CZcams will automatically use vp9, this codec has much better definition and quality, especially in contrasting scenes, acv1 would bleed dark onto light colored shots in the video, while vp9 would have retained it's contrast and looked much sharper. As for the negatives and benefits, the creator would have to spend some extra time rendering, and the file size would be larger, in return, the audience will enjoy high quality videos on the highest quality codec, which will result to more viewer satisfaction. literally the reason I didn't like pubg, blackout and fortnite is the fact that there's too much ammo and too many OP weapons. I like the fact that ammunition is scarce in the danger zone; it makes it feel more realistic, more tense and keeps the game going
Yes i like this design. In other BR game you can get really unlucky with loot(not get any gun or really bad gun) and get destroy by the dude who drop next to you who get better loot while in DZ both gun and bullet are pretty rare and most of early gun drop are pistol so you can just can lure someone to waste their bullet and force them into melee fight and it also punish people that has worse aim more than people with worse loot like the other BR games.
F2P will be hell for sometime. Entered a Casual match on Cobble today (ik its the worst gamemode but i didn't want comp or dz at that time) and I swear, half the lobby (including from our team) were hackers. Kept getting killed by one guy who, when viewing the kill cam, was blatantly aim and wall hacking. Hopefully the dust will someday settle. I have hope.

Id change the ammo problem to percentage. For example, 3 percent of the total ammo of the weapon per pick of the ammo box(ammo box gives like 10 pickings right?). This way sub machine guns get viable, and one hit wonders don't dominate this play-mode (good pistols, AWP).
It is already kind of like this. When you load an AWP with the munition box, you receive only four more bullets. However, there still is some balancing needed. The MAG7, for example, has too much munition for its power imo.
The amount of ammo you get is already sort of balanced around the damage per shot. Stuff like glocks and smgs get like 20 rounds per box, five-seven and tec9 get less, deagle and rifles even less... I think this system makes a lot of sense, it means finding a high-tier weapon isn't an instant win and low-tier weapons are still viable.
i think the ammo is balanced pretty well among everything exept maybe pistols. the shotguns get a lot which increases the reason to use them in such a long ranged map. the smgs need extra ammo so you cant use one right away in the beggining. awp and auto snipers only gets a few bullets which is good. aug and sg only get 9 but remember, they are more acurate than the awp. just buy extra ammo since its late game. pistols aren’t enough to kill someone with. maybe thats good though cause it makes meele somewhat viable early on.
I think Non-Prime will not be banning cheaters, they might be getting pushed into Trust Factor Hell. Whatever you do, make sure you don't contribute suspicious footage in any win, or you'll get dragged in as well.
I see positively this update and I totally agree with everything said, except for the bullet number: i honestly think that the "survival" side of the lack of bullets makes this mode pretty unique
I've been gonna for a couple years from this game. Was here back before the initial surge of popularity. I think out of sheer curiosity I'm going to come back. That and WarOwl was always my favorite cs entertainer/informer and to see that he is still having fun and not faking his experience gives me hope.

Parachutes are super helpful, mostly for camping on top of water tower then parachuting down to destroy someone/escape the danger zone.

if you killed team mates in any game in the past that lowers your trust factor so it might be because of that
But Ive never done that on purpose which should be clear in overwatch cases or watching the reported games...

@@darr0w2 I'm mad because I paid for this game and F2P games always fuck over paying customers to some degree or other or sometimes just outright scam them, I mean, I'm mad and I'm not, I was done with CS:GO anyway because it was dying but this is just going to keep me away completely. When are we going to get normal FPS' again that do deathmatch modes etc. and aren't just shitty F2P games? The only one I know is pavlov but that's VR.

@@noohp7305 If you remember what Counter-Strike Source was like back in the day you'd understand and that was my favourite version of CS, played it to death and yes, when you butcher a game this much by turning it into some crappy Battle Royale mod and making it free to play then you're killing what made it special. They could have done way more content wise, forget battle royale just adding a ton of new maps to have fun with and yes, okay if you want to have Battle Royale fine but put in some other games modes as well for those who want to play a proper team deathmatch game.
It's not necessarily the game mode by itself that has made the game shit, like other games developers valve is clearly trying to adopt micro-transaction and make games F2P and they could not give a shit about customers who actually want to pay for a fun game. I guess my weird mindset is I'm a gaming purist that considers micro-transactions especially in games to be cancer and it ruins what games were supposed to be about, having fun. Now developers everywhere seem to be adopting predatory gambling mechanics as their business models to the point that the government is even getting involved in their regulation.
There are very few major games titles left now that don't adopt these shitty business practices.

Prime wont become better. There are no more costs associated with cheating. Cheaters can either buy prime directly or they wait till rank 21.

Hey WarOwl, I've noticed that CZcams hasn't encoded your video in vp9 (the best possible codec), most likely cause you dont have enough views for it yet, if this keeps occurring: upload Your videos in 1440p/2K or 2160p/4K, so that it's in vp9 quality. Thanks for reading!

While i like looking at crisp videos you also gotta remember that uploading takes alot longer at 1440p because of the file size.
@@kalazakan You completely misconstrued my comment there, WarOwl makes good content, why shouldn't he have the best quality there is, I literally just mentioned a simple fix if this keeps occurring, also: you don't have to record in 2/4K, only render it. Keep in mind that if your video isn't deemed "popular" by CZcams's standards, you won't get your video re-encoded to vp9. Trust me, avc1 looks like got garbage in scenes that have grass, it's not defined well, and finally, I've heard that if your previous videos don't get encoded in vp09 for any reason, your latest videos won't either. @@michno4323 True, I tried in 4K vs 1080p, and the file size went up from 107 to 157 mb (the video was 48 seconds long).
@@DaniIhzaFarrosi So, when you upload a video to CZcams it's encoded to avc1, this is a codec that, to simplify, kind of compresses your video, and thus losing quality and definition in the process, though, if you upload a video in 1440p or 4K, CZcams will automatically use vp9, this codec has much better definition and quality, especially in contrasting scenes, acv1 would bleed dark onto light colored shots in the video, while vp9 would have retained it's contrast and looked much sharper. As for the negatives and benefits, the creator would have to spend some extra time rendering, and the file size would be larger, in return, the audience will enjoy high quality videos on the highest quality codec, which will result to more viewer satisfaction. literally the reason I didn't like pubg, blackout and fortnite is the fact that there's too much ammo and too many OP weapons. I like the fact that ammunition is scarce in the danger zone; it makes it feel more realistic, more tense and keeps the game going

Yes i like this design. In other BR game you can get really unlucky with loot(not get any gun or really bad gun) and get destroy by the dude who drop next to you who get better loot while in DZ both gun and bullet are pretty rare and most of early gun drop are pistol so you can just can lure someone to waste their bullet and force them into melee fight and it also punish people that has worse aim more than people with worse loot like the other BR games.

F2P will be hell for sometime. Entered a Casual match on Cobble today (ik its the worst gamemode but i didn't want comp or dz at that time) and I swear, half the lobby (including from our team) were hackers. Kept getting killed by one guy who, when viewing the kill cam, was blatantly aim and wall hacking.
Hopefully the dust will someday settle. I have hope.

Id change the ammo problem to percentage. For example, 3 percent of the total ammo of the weapon per pick of the ammo box(ammo box gives like 10 pickings right?). This way sub machine guns get viable, and one hit wonders don't dominate this play-mode (good pistols, AWP).
It is already kind of like this. When you load an AWP with the munition box, you receive only four more bullets. However, there still is some balancing needed. The MAG7, for example, has too much munition for its power imo.
The amount of ammo you get is already sort of balanced around the damage per shot. Stuff like glocks and smgs get like 20 rounds per box, five-seven and tec9 get less, deagle and rifles even less... I think this system makes a lot of sense, it means finding a high-tier weapon isn't an instant win and low-tier weapons are still viable.
i think the ammo is balanced pretty well among everything exept maybe pistols. the shotguns get a lot which increases the reason to use them in such a long ranged map. the smgs need extra ammo so you cant use one right away in the beggining. awp and auto snipers only gets a few bullets which is good. aug and sg only get 9 but remember, they are more acurate than the awp. just buy extra ammo since its late game. pistols aren’t enough to kill someone with. maybe thats good though cause it makes meele somewhat viable early on.

I think Non-Prime will not be banning cheaters, they might be getting pushed into Trust Factor Hell. Whatever you do, make sure you don't contribute suspicious footage in any win, or you'll get dragged in as well.

I see positively this update and I totally agree with everything said, except for the bullet number: i honestly think that the "survival" side of the lack of bullets makes this mode pretty unique

I've been gonna for a couple years from this game. Was here back before the initial surge of popularity. I think out of sheer curiosity I'm going to come back. That and WarOwl was always my favorite cs entertainer/informer and to see that he is still having fun and not faking his experience gives me hope.
