I've always loved villains with themes like this. It's foreboding, and mysterious, fitting for the Organization... But it's also somber, mournful, like a requiem for 13 lost hearts...

Truly a masterpiece of a game series. I won't lie I cried finishing this game and the first one. You really get in depth with not just the protagonists but you really get to have a close look on the antagonists too. Thanks for posting this song it was one of my favorites from the game.

It's very clever. It's deep, dark, thematic, and gives the impression that the halls you are walking are filled with danger, power, and a depressing outlook on life (a dirge; life shadowed by dark ideals and eventually death for many of the members of Organization 13). Watch your step. And remember... there is light in the darkness.
I still remember the first time playing this when I was a kid and making it to the last battle with xemnas and turning the game off before beating him lmao. I just didn’t want the game to end yet. It was so good that I didn’t want it to end. I’ve never done that with any other game.
i just played DDD like a couple months ago and i completely agree with you for the higher ranking guys like Xemnas obviously. As far as many of the others, who are still portrayed as antagonists, I still feel like they were just trying to obtain there own chance at a heart, and this was the only way. Granted they were not nice or "good" people, and were lied to by higher ranking members. still I would have done the same things in their position, as many of us probably would, and I actually sympathize with them. Your still right about most things, Just a thought.

DDD introduces the idea that nobodies can form hearts, given enough time and friendship. Basically, Roxas and Xion, and Axel to some extent, formed hearts before they faded.

what people don't understand is if sora brings out roxas and xion his power wil be distributed between them so he won't be at his full strength secondly sora didn't go throw the key blade ceremony like riku and kire so if ventus wakes up sora won't be able to weld the key blade anymore and i think that's why yen sid choose riku to be a key blade master

Xion became a part of Sora in 358/2 Days. Roxas became part of Sora at the beginning of 2. But, Roxas and Xion do make another appearance within Sora's Dreams in DDD..So.. They're not exactly Somebodies.
Except for Axel, I had trouble on defeating all the organization members in kingdom hearts 2. Xaldin, Saix, Xigbar, and Xemnas were especially frustrating.

Full Moon is better because it is similar to Kingdom Hearts.
DDD introduces the idea that nobodies can form hearts, given enough time and friendship. Basically, Roxas and Xion, and Axel to some extent, formed hearts before they faded.

what people don't understand is if sora brings out roxas and xion his power wil be distributed between them so he won't be at his full strength secondly sora didn't go throw the key blade ceremony like riku and kire so if ventus wakes up sora won't be able to weld the key blade anymore and i think that's why yen sid choose riku to be a key blade master

Xion became a part of Sora in 358/2 Days.
Roxas became part of Sora at the beginning of 2.
But, Roxas and Xion do make another appearance within Sora's Dreams in DDD..So..

Except for Axel, I had trouble on defeating all the organization members in kingdom hearts 2. Xaldin, Saix, Xigbar, and Xemnas were especially frustrating.
The only ones i had problems with was Xaldin & Luxord
I also hated fighting against Sephiroth
I thought they were all fun to fight. This game really wasn't near as hard as the first Kingdom Hearts game.
I hate the water guy so much.
Demyx was extremely easy, though.
