Many a times we can find mentors in our parents. Just spare some time and push yourself to the depth, if blessed with these two souls in life we don't really need anyone else, their duas are best weapons to face any situation.
Mentor aik kitaab bhi ho sakti hai, zinda insaan ka hona zaruri nahi. Jahan se bhi aap kuchh seekh jayein, woh mentor hi hai! Luckily, I got exposed to books and lectures of Jiddu Krishnamurti, and he turned out to be a real-life changer for me.

Excellent and informative talk which leads to few points, in our culture during first 7 years of life we teach children a sentence of ‘O he is shy’ and it sticks in child’s mind for the rest of life. Only way to come out of it is as you say Practice. It is well known that many speakers and comedians are extremely shy.
May be those children are introverts, which itself has its points. interesting talk on CZcams is by Susan Cain -lPower of introverts.
Law of attraction is somewhat similar to Positive thinking which lets you find a way to solve the problem.
Re: Talking to someone or with Mentor. One has to be selective, to pick one like you mentioned, if you are lucky to count sincere friends on fingers of your one hand then good,, otherwise remember what Kahlil Gibran said ‘ if you reveal your secrets to the wind, you should not blame the wind for revealing them to trees’.
People who boast about big cars, big houses are arrogant and are hiding their insecurity.
Mentor is like a good councillor, who listens to you, asks right questions which lead you to think the right solution.
I think Buddhism who don’t believe in God, say it is inside you. Ask & he will give you solution, right or wrong, but as you say few minutes sitting in a quiet place will certainly guide you. Thank you again

What books do you read professor ? Can you do a video on this, and the importance of reading,
Books are the best and the cheapest source of knowledge. Go to Qasim Ali Shah and Umar Riaz if you are really interested in books. People who don't read books, always remain second class citizens, in my experience.
@@AlviSultan yes this is very true. Qasim Ali Shah and Umer Riaz have done loads of videos on books, would be interesting to see the types of books professor reads especially since we are all stuck at home.
