    Love my GTR SL. I got the black one so all the graphics and logo are quite stealthy, and I get compliments on it every single time I take it out of the house

    Love the graphics so much I bought the bike! This is the most comfortable bike that I have ever ridden, so far....

    I just want the rider to look like he's not sprinting for like 1 second

    my thumbs up is for your final remark... few things detract from an otherwise stylish product more than juvenile-like 'graphics'.

    I understand the graphic thing but my Gtr disk gets so many compliments. I even had a guy double time it to see what kind of bike it was.

    Although it doesn't improve the ride, I love the graphics on my GTR 2015 (I am a big fan of the Wilier logo), but don't like the job they've done on the SL or Team versions - plus the colour choices are a bit off, to me. And this comes from a company who can produce one of the hottest-looking aero racers, the Cento1 Air.

    Is it pronounced Wilier or Vilier? My LBS that sells them says Vilier.

    • @CJC94

      it's a W

    • @kidsafe
      @kidsafe Před 8 lety

      Ciaran Carroll It's pronounced with a V-sound though. I looked it up since asking.

    • @CJC94
      @CJC94 Před 8 lety

      +yoog fair enough I thought it was a W because they're Italian but sure you learn something new everyday

    • @kidsafe
      @kidsafe Před 8 lety

      Ciaran Carroll Yeah, apparently it's an acronym meaning "Long live Italy," but they pronounce it VIL-EE-yer.

    • @rico851
      @rico851 Před 6 lety

      Yep it's a V sound. I am Italian. The acronym spells ViVa l'Italia Libera E Rendenta

    Even not dura ace on bike that cost more than 2000 pounds?!

    • @broomiester
      @broomiester Před 8 lety

      +John Smith (FakeName) very few bikes (if any) come with Dura Ace for £2000. Although for around £2500 I would personally expect Ultegra Di2.

    Why you never review the Canyons, for me they are the best bikes for value, and much better spec than this wilder. For example you can get a Canyon CF SL with ultegra di2 and Mavic Ksyrium for 3000€ (less than 2750£)

    I've just sold mine had it in black and it did look beautiful but i just couldn't get used to ridinfg it and found myself taking my CAAD12 out everytime I went riding and that was not good as the Wilier wasn't being used. I felt like the bike was made out of wood!! Terribly uncomfortable ride and didn't enjoy it in the slightest.

  • @hoygys
    @hoygys Před 8 lety +1

    Yeah, sack the designer who've added unnecessary and tacky decals to our bikes. The Wilier Brand speaks for itself. (Hint: have a look at the Pinarello line up)

    Not only is willier 's logo already awful looking as it is, the graphics make this bike look terrible. How unfortunate.
