    I'm finding a lot of inspiration from your videos, I recently moved late last year and I have big plans in place. It's daunting honestly.
    It all stems from the elevation decreasing about 5feet over the 7.5mlong 4.5w garden with a path down the middle with parking spaces for the previous owner.
    I have left a small space at the end for my car, then a fence just above the concrete road outside. Then inside I'm planning a sunken garden space with a retaining wall surrounding my neighbors side and towards my house, I'm integrating the use of (dead heads) T shape inside the wall to support, this will allow the space for some integrated planter areas, but behind this I need make a French drain to take the water away. On the path side as the path supported itself on a solid hardcore base I'm planning on having a small gap filled with stones for good drainage, then oak railway sleepers supported by some oak posts concreted in this will give a good boarder to the garden area.
    All the steps involved in this would take me Soo long to write down. I will still probably forget something obvious anyway 😂
    This video in particular will help with my plans on the other side for my workshop- seating area but that's a while away maybe not even this year 😂

    Hello guys, great video! Just one question, do you keep your MOT type one flat or do you need a small slope to let the water run off?

    What's that pad for??? Bit over engined unless your landing a jumbo jet on it.... also why don't u just and fiber to the mix???

    • @jonhickmanmusic

      If it was for a garden room, what would you say in more appropriate? Thanks

    • @neilwatcham8932
      @neilwatcham8932 Před měsícem +1

      @jonhickmanmusic still put fibre in it, steel reinforcement is more money, more work, more chance of popping when it rusts, (because it will).. looks good but fibre is better in that project.. as for a garden room. Yeah it's a garden room, not a nuclear bunker lol... seems like a lot of expence for a garden room....

    • @jonhickmanmusic
      @jonhickmanmusic Před měsícem

      @@neilwatcham8932 would you say a garden room pad needs sub base etc?

    • @neilwatcham8932
      @neilwatcham8932 Před měsícem

      @jonhickmanmusic yes, still needs to be dug out. 100mm crushed hardcore, and 100mm od fibre reinforced concrete is fine... doesn't need plastic, lasers, lots of expensive timber for edge. Anything to hold the concrete in place...
