I am a Christian, but I have great respect for the Jewish traditions and holy days. I have a Kudu horn that I blow at sunset on Passover and Yom Teruah. As a trumpet player in junior high school it didn't take long to get a pleasing sound from my shofar, except I don't have the embouchure for the higher note, so I am a one-note guy. It is still a beautiful horn.
