How to Download Google Play Store on Amazon Fire Tablet | No Computer (2021)

- In this video, I will show you all of the steps to install the Google Play Store on your Amazon Fire Tablet. Amazon Fire Tablets are extremely inexpensive but they don't come with the full Google Play Store installed like other android tablets. Instead, you get access to the Amazon Appstore, which probably will not have some of the apps that you want like Chrome, CZcams, etc.

This process takes about 10 minutes but is not hard! All you need is your tablet to get this process completed. This will work on all Fire tablets produced since 2014 so why not get all of the apps that you want with no restrictions now!

My husband bought me a fire HD 10 this year for Christmas by the time I spent two or three days with it I was packing it up back in the box to take it back and get myself a normal Android tablet I was furious that I could not get my Google stuff! My husband who is the level-headed one went on CZcams and started looking at videos that described ways that I could have my Google stuff. I spent the better part of a morning watching videos and finding that most people really didn't know what they were talking about. However this gentleman in this tutorial video really has his head on straight he describes everything with specific detail and in the most simplified terms possible absolutely amazing thank you so much I have all my Google stuff and I can keep my tablet now!

For sure. The google play store is just an app like any other so you can install any other app that you would like.

If you restart no. If you reset to it will go back to factory defaults.

The first step doesn't seem to work because the " Apps from unknown sources" doesn't have a sliding on\off feature as shown in the video. When selected I'm shown three apps already installed and asked whether or not I'd like to give them permission - individually. Three dots on right hand of the screen when selected states show or hide. Neither appear to change anything

I've been reading the comments of this video and I'm seeing mixed outcomes for different people. Mine hasn't arrived yet but just incase this doesn't work for me would I still be able to download apps through Apk's or download some from my phone through bluetooth?
It works. Most people that have trouble eventually get it worked out. Typically for most people it just works right away.

Just try another version of the file. Also make sure you have the correct links for your device.

I was looking for clarification as, even though in the Framework APK it said there was a newer version below, you still chose to click the download link at the top, but I went back & read your notes & you said to just chose the immediate download button for the first 2 links, so I did. I have a 10th generation Fire HD 8 & it worked for me, though Google wanted me to keep signing in repeatedly until I rebooted a 2nd time, & then I was in! YAY! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your video was so much simpler than another I watched, & I spent hours on that other one until I saw yours!
I did still have a 2nd point of confusion that I want to mention as you might wish to clarify it for others in future. When I was working through the 3rd & 4th links, you DID say to choose the most recent link at the top of the list, as long as it wasn't beta, but when I clicked on that, I was then given additional choices of variants that had newer dates than the one associated with the upper download button. At that point, I didn't know if I should choose the variant with the newest date, or the most immediate download link that was presented at the top of the page.
I chose not to explore the variants & fortunately, it worked for me, but my instinct would have been to keep going to the choice that was newest without being beta. So it might be helpful to mention to ignore the variants, if that was what you intended.

I feel like Columbo, but "one more thing", if I may... since I did not choose any of the variants, even though at least one had a newer date, will any updates this app receives bring it up to date in regard to all the latest APK files of those four files from which it was "constructed"? Also, will the app update automatically, or do I need to plan to do something more with it down the road?

"Allow from unknown sources " shows but it doesn't have turn on/off option. Any suggestions?
If you have a newer tablet you may have to approve your unknown apps on a case by case basis.

I just installed PlayStore on my new HD 10, 9th generation ( or whatever). The steps and configuration of both the tablet and the installation layout are slightly different than the 7th you demonstrate here, but were easy enough to figure out. I've never liked the fact that Amazon were tying you in to Amazon stuff all the time and that I couldn't get google play like I do on my Lenovo android tablet. I was really wary and scared to try this in case I totally mucked up my Fire 7 ( 7th generation ) tablet , but I've just followed your video instructions and I've got google play store on my fire tablet ! and thanks for making this great video !

Before I download it if I dont remove the microsd card before I download them and after I downloac it if I reboot it will the stuff that was on my sd card still be on it
I would try to download it to your hard drive and not SD card.

I haven’t tried that because I don’t like limits but you can toggle it off and try it. I am thinking since the Google Play Store is installing it that it will still work.

Hey Sherry. The link is case sensitive so you do need the capital letter 😉

These pages look nothing like the ones you were opening. So I’ve now downloaded programs which are of no use.
You must be sure you got the correct files for your device. Something seems strange.
