Nah. Czechoslovakia and Yugolavia are the only countries where Socialism really worked. Back then, nobody was greedy, it was being built. Today, in my home town in Slovakia, most of the building are from that era. Nothing is evolving since the fall of the regime, which was not that bad. Nobody starved, people lived in pretty good conditions, education and healthcare was free. Since the fall of the regime, politicians only steal from Slovakia and make it poorer and poorer...
