2022 California Title-24 Energy Code

The state of California continues leading the efforts in electrification and decarbonization through codes and regulations both at the state and local jurisdiction levels. Join this course to learn about the major revisions in the new California Title-24 2022 energy code as they introduce new requirements on building envelope and building systems. The session will also provide a brief overview of CA city reach codes and available electrification technologies. As they represent the biggest change in the new energy code, the new PV array and battery system requirements are emphasized together with sample calculations for necessary system capacities.
