Yes it’s the second rut and there’s still bucks that will respond. However, also, try doing only grunts. Look at the other calls that I have for mature buck contact grunt and rattling can work as well. Although it’s more effective to early season.

All at once. If you see a deer STOP playing immediately if he/she looks at you. This way you’re not identified.
How long should you pause after the video before playing it again
Wondering the same thing
Play the video through one time and then wait 10 minutes or 15 and try again. Do it up to three times in an hour. You can try some of the other calls that I have in my playlist, or try the same one later in a couple hours.
What volume level?
Depends, use your ear to determine how far you want it to travel
