- Today we will be taking at the 8th floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick and a deeper look into how the clan of Ainz Ooal Gown defended the tomb in the days of Yggdrasil.
This acts as the conclusion to the small series about the tombs defense policy.

Wouldn't it be awesome to one day get an Overlord movie that would cover the multi-guild alliance invasion?
It looks like we're going to get the movie for the sacred arc kingdom, and then the rest gets covered in season 5.
A movie on it would be awesome, but I doubt we will get one.
There have only been brief mentions of what happened on that fateful day so I don’t see it happening.
If we get an after story once the novel ends we might get an OVA out of it.

There is 2 things you have missed, in the Defence of the Tomb. The 41 Supreem Beings themselvs & Pandora's Action + the Statues in the Mausoleum.
The supreme beings would deserve their own video tbh, even though we don't know a massive amount about each one.
The treasury was probably worth mentioning, although the statues were pretty well covered when we saw them in episode 11. And Pandora's kit is basically the supreme beings kit's but at 80% efficiency.

@@shalltearsservants Fair enough with not covering Area's like the Treasury or Cherry Blossom Sanctuary in much detail.
Given they are Area's more off the beaten path, invaders would need to take a significant detour to encounter them at all.
None the less, PA's build is well made for defence of the Area.
If I recall correctly, beyond his heavy level investment into the various Dopple Ganger race types; His class levels are focused on maintenance of the equipment, upkeep cost reductions and command buffs for the Golems.
Mainly due to him losing access to his base profile when he doubles someone else. Instead he uses the build of who he doubles (with the mentioned 80% effectiveness drawback).

1. I really hope we at least get a *glimpse* of Rubedo before the series ends. Aside from the Dragon Emperor she's probably the most mysterious and hyped up character in the entirety of Overlord.
A single NPC that's so powerfull, she's comparable to a Raid Boss that needs a whole team of max level players just to have a chance of beating is the kind of thing peoppe want to see lol
Tho I guess that's half the joke. Rubedo's so powerfull and the vast majority of the New World is *so weak* that there is no reason to ever use a walking, talking doomsday device like her.
2. Its worth mentioning that the combo of Sebas and ALL the Pleiades, including Omega, would definetly put them on par with one of the raid bosses of the 8th floor. Meaning that no single player could ever pheasably beat them.
Not that a scenario like that would ever come to pass due to my next point
3. Aureole Omega's sole job is to look after the Staff of Ains Ooal Gown. It being a Guild weapon not only makes it one of the few player craftable items comparable to the power of a World Item, but if it were to EVER be destroyed then the Guild would automatically disband and their Guild base and NPCs would be deleted as if they never existed, reverting it back to before it was conquered.
So, naturally, Ains literally *never* lets the staff out of his sight and if he does, he has a small army of LvL 90-100 NPCs watching it 24/7 with Omega looking after it so she could grab it and run if push comes to shove
1. Yeah, that's the main issue, the entire new-world is so weak that the only time Ainz has had to try is against his own NPC. As Nigredo said she may cause calamity for Nazarick, its far safer to keep her under the guard of the 8th floor than let her loose outside the tomb.
2. They are incredibly strong. With only 5 doppelgangers of the Pleiades, buffed by Aureole, Ainz was struggling to beat them and was concerned he may loose for a while. So include Sebas and Nabe, and the fact that the actual Pleiades are stronger than doppelgangers, they are a massive threat.
3. Yeah, thats why Ainz never takes the real one outside the tomb and went through all the effort of making a fake one. A lot of that is also due to Ainz being incredibly cautios. Ainz also won't allow a Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown outside of Nazarick for the same reason, as anyone with one could freely roam about the tomb and bypass the defences.

In a 1v1, they likely still would have won. Ainz Ooal Gown were a notorious guild of player killers, and Lord Touch Me was one of the strongest world champions and players in Yggdrasil.
The strongest player ended up quitting because people kept ganging up on him to pk him so only very few players even stood a chance in a 1v1 with Lord Touch Me.
It would be so cool if we actually get to see one of the other supreme beings in action in the next season
Definitely, it would also be really cool if not only we see one of the others fight, but actually have to try to win.
Everyone can just dominate everything in the new-world without trying. The only time we saw Ainz actually struggle in a fight was against Shalltear. It would be cool as we both get to see what the other supreme beings are capable of and actually see an intense fight.

Makes you wonder with all the battle with Momon and Nabe did she gain more levels are possible more stronger now than her sister?
Unlikely, all the enemies that Nabe and Momon have been involved in and actually killed the opponent have been against low-level beings. Nabe is over double the level of most of the mobs easily so she wouldn't have gained muck xp.
She's 37 levels lower than Aureole and there's no way she's gained that many levels.
Unlikely. In order to Level Up in the New World she would have to kill possibly hundreds ,if not thousands, of people or monsters as anyone around LvL 30 (which would be the minimum needed to give her a challenge) is a rare occurence , let alone someone near the 41-68 range of the Pleiades

Makes sense, Lupus and Shalltear are pretty similar when you break it down.
They're both condescending and sadistic and just really fun characters to watch interact with others.
Serious though can we appreciate just how complex the story telling is in overlord, I would seriously pay actual money for a game similar to Yggdrasill, having even OP players be actual bosses to defeat with an ability to create powerful NPCs. That game rpg would be dope af.
The most amazing part is every single thing is so in-depth. Not just Yggdrasil, not just the new world now, but also the new world before Ainz. The sheer depth and complexity of the story is staggering. If a game like Yggdrasil came out, it would be amazing, so many customisation options, such an in depth skill tree and just so many hidden secrets. It would be incredible.

After the sacred kingdom arc, Shizu is easily one of my favourite characters.
Lupus is casually spying Enri and Nfirea. While Shizu is casually making friends with Ainz-obsessed fanatics.

My favourite pleiades in order are; Yuri Alpha, CZ 2128 delta, Lupusregina Beta, Entoma Zeta, Narberal Gamma and finaly Solution Ypsilon. But I miss Clementine, she was not long in that world.
Nabe is really low huh. Understandable given how much she detests humans.
Clementine just had bad luck, messed with the wrong future asset of Ainz's. If she had taken anyone who wasn't Nferia, she may have lasted a little longer.
Fav Pleiades is Entoma all the way. Bug magic is quite awesome.

the eighth floor contains the Five Rulers, and, powerful monsters automatically spawn.
Although the level of the Five Rulers is weaker than Rubedo, Rubedo cannot defeat one of them in a pvp fight and this is what Ainz hinted at.
When the Ainz clan invaded the tomb,When Momonga Party was fighting Asura .
The other teams had defeated the other bosses. Lightning-breathing dragon, pure white bat
They were automatically teleported to the desert floor, fighting endless numbers of enemies
Unless the last boss Asura is defeated, waves of monsters will not stop beating them.
The writer said that Asura's level is 90, I think the rest of the bosses are level 87. The level of the bosses is on the same level as the Primordial Elements that Asura summoned.
Shizuo overcomes Ainz's physical immunity by polishing her sister Omega، Ainz's physical and magical immunity is immunity to magic level 6 and below, and also immunity to physical attacks level 60 and below.After polishing Shizuo, she was able to defeat Ainz's immunity . (46 + 15 = 61).
The guild weapon was on the tenth floor, when the tomb was in the game and not in Omega's possession. I think the goal of Omega is to polish the bosses

This does not make sense. Where did the author state that Asura was lvl 90? Asura was a raid boss. Raid bosses usally need somewhere between 10-40 players to be taken down(in MMORPG-s), but back in the day 100+ players weren't uncommon either. Also, raid bosses are usually higher level than the max level a player can achieve. So unless I missed a tweet or something from the author, I can't really believe that a raid boss was lower level than the players that attempted to defeat him.

I really love all of the pleiades but my tops would be Yuri and Entoma.
Yuri's awesome as the calm, collected commander type. She can make decisions without getting too emotionally swayed unlike other members of the Pleiades. Entoma's just cool, the way she can switch strategies on the fly and the way she hisses at Evileye, its a subtle detail that really brings her character to life.

Entoma is awesome, I like how she hissed at Evileye when she saw her after bring defeated, it was a small detail that really let her personality shine. The way she switches out bugs to enhance her body is pretty cool too.

Definitely, Shizu and Neia is the cutest thing ever. The way Entoma could so easily change strategies on the fly was awesome too.
One thing I love fantasizing about is how other fantasy characters would stack up against Ainz Ooal Gown and Nazarick as it stands in the New World. Particularly that of Warhammer Fantasy, and more likely to be a balanced match, characters from Age of Sigmar. It always struck me as an interesting scenario should say, Nagash, Lord Mazdamundi, or Archaon the Everchosen were to duel Ainz or wage war on Nazarick and how that would go. Thoughts?
I agree, I find it pretty fun to consider who could even rival Ainz and Nazarick. I'm not in any way familiar with warhammer so couldn't comment, but ones i find interesting are Rimuru Tempest and his followers or Reinhardt from Re:Zero.
Rimuru is quite interesting because a lot of his followers aren't worth mentioning, but equally he has beings like Valdora and Diablo Primordial Black, who could actually take on some of the floor guardians and do decently. I think Nazarick would still win, but I think it would be closer than it first seems.

@@factfiend1000 I'll be honest, I'm not massively familiar with Link's capabilities. IF nothing else, he wouldn't have inta-death immunity so he could fall very easily to Ainz. Overall, I couldnt imagine them getting any further than floor 5. Sahlltear is incredibly strong so I'm sure causlties will be heavy so even if they make it past her, i can't imagine them making it too much further. Gargantua lacks sentience so they should be able to take him out but Cocytus has a fair few AoE abilities up his sleeve and the 5th floor isnt the most forgiving terrain.
