Same here, I only found out about 10 yrs ago that I was adopted, adoption was wasn’t spoken about in those days, and I had no idea whatsoever until I found this out about myself out of the blue! I was a tiny baby when my mum and dad got me .

I adopted 2 little boys 51 and 47 years ago. Watching this brings me right back to the indescribable happiness and thankfulness I felt on that day of adoption. They have continued to bring joy to my life everyday since. Tears all over again! You are so blessed to have such a perfect little girl!

There is nothing more selfless a mother can do for her child than to realize that they are not in a position to raise the child, for whatever reason, and have the strength and courage to let the baby go to a family that will provide it with love and a happy home. It hurt you deeply I'm sure, but know in your heart that what you did took such strength and deep unselfish love for that baby that it was the best decision, and I admire you for it.

As an adopted child myself, it’s always so amazing to see the opposite end of adoption stories from the new parent’s perspective. I’ve been bawling my eyes out the entire video, this little girl is so blessed and so lucky to have found her forever parents and family in you all. Congratulations!

@@potatohead5451 Yes! That’s such a beautiful way to put it, especially with their viewpoint letting your newborn heart heal. I hadn’t ever really thought about what my parents potentially went through in their process of adopting me either and it definitely made me even more grateful
What struck me the most about this is the way mum picked her up and automatically started rocking her, I loved that, the chemistry was instant.

I adopted a month old baby boy 50 years ago and the day he was put in my arms is the one thing in my life I can still see in my mind's eye as clearly as the day it happened and I can still feel the joy. You will have a glorious time watching her grow.

I have six siblings who were adopted. They all made mistakes, some far more devastating to themselves and their children than others, but all of three birth mothers chose life, and they deserve applause for giving their children a chance.
It’s 2:41am and I’m currently laying on my couch crying my eyes out. First I want to say how sorry I am for everything you had to go through with the other adoption. Secondly, I want to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to finally getting your baby. Y’all deserve this more then anything in the world. Hi. I just came accross your video. It's so beautiful. I was in tears watching. You're such a beautiful family. My husband and I (& our 2 kids) have been foster carers since 2009 and we've had foster children (2 & 3 at a time) who have gone back to mum, family members & prepared for adoption. It's heartbreaking as we get attached but also wonderful that they find their forever home with wonderful families. Big hugs from the UK.

As an adopted child (now 61) thank you. I always knew I was adopted. My parents kept no secrets from me and I never longed to find my “birth parents”. I knew who my family was. Also, had/have grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that never brought up the word “adoption”. The only thing I was ever curious about was what they looked like.

I have never been so happy for someone that i have never met. I have struggled with infertility for almost 10 years now. I've never wanted anything more in my life than to have a baby. You guys understand that exact feeling of wanting a baby more than anything. I am so happy that it finally happened for y'all. Dallin and Bella... you truly deserve this. Never give up. I went 10 1/2 / 11 years and got pregnant naturally. Twice! Have 2 boys now 3 and 1.
Never give up hope. I lost my 1st pregnancy early on. My Rainbow baby was born 1.5 yrs later. I then proceeded to lose 2 more pregnancies, also early on, and was told I would probably never carry a baby to full term again. I gave up worrying about it went on birth control to avoid getting pregnant again and miscarrying. 10 yrs after my 1st Rainbow baby, I got my 2nd Rainbow baby while I was using birth control and she stuck and held on tight. My then husband and I tried for a boy but I never got pregnant again. I had my youngest at age 34 and no more pregnancies and went into Menopause at 45. I'm now 52.
I still get so sad that I'm missing 3 of my babies. I so wanted a large family and I never got to meet them 💔. I am absolutely so grateful for both my girls ❤ It may happen for you when you least expect it. ❤ Sending up prayers for you 🙏🏼

Oh my gosh, I just found your channel and this video made me cry. I am blind and autistic. My honey and I tried several times to have kids. I miscarried several times and I also had a stillbirth. Our son Seth. We tried adopting. They said no because of my medical issues and also John’s medical issues, it was heartbreaking. I had a breakdown after it happened. I do have what’s called reborn children. They look real but they’re not and it does help but when I saw this, it made me cry because I really wish I could have a baby too I’m so proud of you. This is so amazing how she doing and that she’s beautiful oh my goodness she’s so beautiful.
A baby girl arrives and just like that... everything changes. The world gets bigger. Hearts grow fuller. And life means more because she's in it.

Things I've realized following your videos about this journey:
1. 9 months ago you had a dream you were supposed to adopt this baby. Meaning as that baby was just baaaaarely existing, she was already yours.
2. That momma needed to be blessed with all of the twin items for her babies before you could be blessed with your own.
3. You have to release all hold on anything in your past that got you to where you are before you can be blessed with your future.
There is no one more deserving than you two and I have watched this 5 times because I can't believe it.

@@AWM8841I’m in a similar fertility journey and we are looking to start the adoption process. We believe that it is God’s plan because we weren’t able to have our own child, but we feel called to be parents, so He must have a baby out there for us somewhere.
It is still God’s plan if you pray for it and believe it to be true. He wouldn’t allow it to happen that way if that’s not how He intended it.

My favorite high school teacher and his wife were infertile. It took them about 7 years before they finally got the call to adopt a baby boy. He used to sit in his office after work and cry before going home because he knew how hard it was for his wife to not have the family they both wanted. 2 years after bringing home their son, they managed to get pregnant. Blessing come in little packages too :)

My parents, after going through infertility for a year, adopted me from Russia when I was 1 year old, I am now 21 and about to graduate college to be an adoption specialist. I am forever grateful and thankful to my parents. I love them so much. Adoption is a very hard but beautiful journey for both birthmom, child, and adoptive family. She was due in November and everyday that gets closer to her due date my heart breaks a little more. Can we talk about how precious the entire friends and family reacted? I mean she isnt only getting the greatest parents obviously but a bunge of lovely family too

As an adopted person, It's beautiful to see how much you want her. She will be able to watch this when she is older and really know how much she is loved! ❤ Although my experience was not a positive one, I still believe in adoption. Belated congratulations! I'm so glad I found your video. I gave up my newborn son for adoption 10 months ago and I've always been curious to see the other side's reaction. seeing and hearing the joy in your voice when you get the call that you are going to be parents is wonderful to hear and see. I'm also glad you had reactions from your family in your video when you told them about your new baby. thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you so much for your bravery & gift to the world. I'm 52 & my birth mother was only 16. I have a wonderful family & great parents. So I just wanted to say thanks for giving your baby a chance. If my birth mother hadn't I wouldn't be here. I have never had any animosity towards her...ever. She loved me enough to let me go and that couldn't have been easy.

Watching this at 3.5 months pregnant after a miscarriage last October and I am sobbing. The fact that you got that call while donating all the old nursery stuff to the woman with the twins just shows that Karma is a real thing and God always comes through. I’m so so so happy for you guys and I can’t wait to see Story’s life unfold. You were absolutely meant to be her parents.

Absolutely, I said the same!! God had ALWAYS planned for them to be Story's parents!! I also had a miscarriage last October and weirdly the October before that.. But I'm healing in knowing that God has a plan!! So sorry for your loss and Congratulations on your Rainbow Baby!!
@@erinhayley9948 You will have your rainbow baby soon, I know it ❤️ God is so good and always has a plan, you’re right. My grandpa passed and 2 days later I found out I was pregnant. I’m not extremely religious but I do truly believe it was his gift to my family and a way to show us that when one life ends, another really does begin.

Well she isn’t going to have a choice is she? Adoptees HAVE to be happy. Or society calls us ungrateful bastards. So yes. She will probably be “grateful”. Unless she’s like a lot of us an unalives before she reaches adulthood
@@realname8954Wow.. you really smash the cake don’t you? No one is forcing the baby to “be happy” because she’s adopted/got adopted. She CAN be unhappy, she has ever right.. but saying she’d unalive herself because of it seems a bit much.

We have two adopted children, a daughter from Korea and a son from the USA. They are both adults now, we adopted our kids as babies. Adoption was a blessing to us.

I have rewatched this vlog multiple times. Our daughters are about 2 months apart, and our daughter's adoption will be finalized next week!! I cry every time I watch this video because it brings me back to the moment met our girl in the NICU. 💗💜 Thank you for this video!!! It is an amazing reminder of how amazing adoption is!
