First of all, I want to buy a smartphone that lasts atleast 6 years, that's why I chose 12 13 and se3, second I want a phone as a tool for calling-payment -for point and shoot stuff, not heavy user not a heavy videographer, not a heavy photographer, just casual. And I want a phone that keeps me away from all the latest and greatest tech that takes me back to addiction days.

Weather conditions matter. It will be dead for sure in half day without Air conditioned room. SOT is inaccurate. Wifi saves battery like hell

Those Iphone's form factor from 6 to se2022 is my favorite! Small, with touch-id and bezells that you can rest on them your fingers without touching the display. My complain is their battery, at least in iphone 8 i have.
