@Heather DeRigo thanks for your comment :). Yes it can be used with photos from mobile / social. For fast production it would be 2d and for 3D it would need to be processed through our cockpit3d software solution to be converted. When a person is available to stand in front of the 3dlaserbox the 3D is done instant since it scans the face accurately.

I would like to know how gratefully it works on metal scanning like ferrous metals and same impressions can be used for metal cutting technologies.
Hi thanks for your comment. It works best for transparent well polished materials. It’s not intended for surface etching although it can engrave metal plates by burning off the coated color to reveal the metal underneath.

Best, does this only work when you take a picture by your self or can you for example take a image of the interner/your phone? Thank you in advance.
Use a photo from your phone no problem. It’s a different system that would handle that. See cockpit3d.com for more info.
How much price this machine
Hi Riyaz, Just looking for some advice regarding my way forward on selecting my best option going forward . My current laser machine (Chinese) is old and will soon need to be replaced. Please would you give me some insights into the difference between the Chinese manufactured machines (fairly cheap but generally very little support and poor quality) and the European machines(Germany) In the long run is it worth investing in the German machines ( 3 times the price?) Would a 3d depth camera make it easier to use
3D depth cameras work. The important part is configuring the software to take the data and clean it / prepare it for the etching process. Thanks for commenting and for your interest.
@@3dcrystal thanks for the reply... as a wholeseller, would it be beneficial to take pics and send them in using a depth camera....3d cp works great with 2d images, but would a depth camera be worth investing in for local events
@@Mental_Alchemist it’s only beneficial if you are seeking to burn on the spot quickly. If not it’s actually more effective in terms of final impression to have a photo modelled to 3D by an artist. Sending a 3D capture won’t assist in the laser hub process.
