This is honestly really good long term storytelling in a long time in the WWE. If you look back into the Thunderdome era, Jimmy Uso wasn't on board at the start because of how Roman Reigns was treating Jey Uso. Jimmy was trying to pull his brother out of it, but he was eventually got manipulated to be in the Bloodline. If you really think about it, Jey is the protagnist of this storyline. Reigns being the antagonist and the others being the supporting characters. That's why the Bloodline storyline closed out many of the PLEs.
He wasn’t manipulated he just joined it, if you go back and look he’s pissed about then literally the next week he’s just straight up ok with it
It’ll be damn near 4 years by the time next mania rolls around. That’s unheard of. Incredible.
I don't think he really switched that much, Jey fell in line to protect Jimmy and because He benefited as the Right hand He stayed loyal and was eventually okay with it. But the whole time he was doing what he thought was best for his family. Jimmy on the other hand never pushed back on anything but that doesn't mean he forgot how this all started, he just thought they were past it, but since their not and he's now trying to turn his younger brother against him, Brothers are closer than Cousins in this situation.
@@Justin-AL Yea, that's not true. When Jimmy came back, he did not want to join up with Roman, but that ended up causing a lot of stress and tension for Jey, which caused Jey to snap and not talk to Roman or Jimmy for about two weeks. Afterwards, Jimmy reluctantly joined to make things easier for Jey. He didn't just randomly do a 180
Just like the rumble, ending with the bloodline was smart. The world title or Cody winning the rumble are normally great endings, but this story is special. Nothing can (or should) follow it
Probably the greatest long term story ever. 3 years almost perfectly booked moments wise and it’s making stars
“Jey, I’m doing something that you should’ve done a long time ago. Don’t worry, brother. I got you. (Super kick)”
Just shows that patience is needed for a good story to unfold
Just like Naito in his fall and rise storyline. Took him 7 years to finally achieve what he chased only to get ruined by KENTA lol
Pretty dumb take imo. They could have done this exact storyline at WM. Instead of here. What did we get as an alternative? 2 months of limbo waiting for Roman to return cause he was gone the whole time.
@@STNJ_YT 🤣 it's not a dumb take you e drone make me laugh just cause it wasn't done when you wanted it to be done 😂.
Jimmy just makes so much sense. It comes full circle. Jey only got into the bloodline to protect Jimmy. He tried to keep him out but Jimmy w brainwashed and too far deep. Now we flipped it, Jimmy finally broke out but now jey needs to be saved. Love it
If you remember back in the beginning when jimmy first came back from injury in 2019 or 2020, jimmy was the first of the brothers Uso to speak up to roman about not liking what he was doing... This current situation is the endgame from that early squabble between jimmy and roman... Absolutely a (probably forgotten) masterpiece of a chapter in this Bloodline story
When Jimmy said “I’m doing what you shoulda done a long time ago, it’s me and you now Uce” I felt it in my Tootsie Toes
Ngl I was mad when Cody didn’t win at wm then up until about a week ago,the bloodline storyline was a very stale. Then it seemed like the drama that kept us hooked came back when Roman started taking his frustration out on the Uso’s so I have to say WWE you did the right thing
Sometimes its okay to let things build up and wait. The Sami Arc was done, they were starting the Civil War arc. The months of WM were great imo in terms of storytelling. Usos kept failing chance after chance. Roman is slowly losing his patience. Even Solo was getting annoyed at the Usos incompetence. Sometimes you just gotta watch the story and let that shit play out.
i kinda had a feeling it would be jimmy that would break first, after seeing his reaction to roman badgering him after wrestlemania, but i did not expect it to happen last night. This is movie plot level storylines and I am here for it.
The best long term booking I ever saw was the breakdown of the Megapowers way back in the 80's. And that was done over a couple of PPV's and special. WWE have had to run the Bloodline story through hours of television and a myriad of PPVs.
I also believed for years that the MegaPowers explode was the best storyline ever in WWE and perhaps wrestling. However, my new answer is the Bloodline and it’s partly because of what you said. WWE didn’t have as much content time in the 80s so a long term story didn’t have to have as much exposure. I feel that being able to keep people invested for around three years with a story like this with as much content as they have is really impressive and actually really great writing.
I'm loving this story line and how many people they got in this.
Just wish that similar thought and patience were given to the Hurt Business.
Honestly this whole bloodline tale could go another 2 years and I'd still be invested and waiting week to week for the plot to thicken.
Simon prolly my favorite media personality right now. Great guy, entertaining and passionate about wrestling. Dear I say he the 🐐
I was always trusting the process. Loved it the entire time.
That scream that Jimmy let out after that second superkick...I felt that!
Simons point on respecting creative for sticking with their plan is such a good one. Cody losing and the slow downfall of The Bloodline was clearly planned, regardless of how over Cody was. Yes that probably wasn’t expected, but they didn’t alter because of it, and that has allowed for INCREDIBLE story telling.
Cody and Brock will have their rubber match at summer slam. Gives Cody enough time to heal his broken arm.
Simon should just move to Vegas and do videos from various parts of the Stip. Loving these Vegas videos.
Here first … great show even better man covering it. GOAT Simon miller
You know how you can tell this is a good angle? I'm impatient to see the next part. I'm so pissed that I have to wait until Friday l could spit nickels (that's a Mom saying there).
All I gotta say is this….THIS. IS. CINEMA!!!!
The most beautiful story ever told!!! The bloodline
Roman vs Jimmy at MiTB, with Jay finally turning on Roman after Brutality of the finish (possibly flashback from his fight with Roman in 2020)
And at Summerslam Jay will finally dethrone Roman
Maybe Solo will win MiTB contract and cash in on Jay Uso before wm 40 what could make pretty much story with Solo and Cody at wm 40 where Cody finally will get his hands on the title
I think this is the catalyst for Sammy and K.O. to blow up too. Now Sammy is going to want to side with the Usos and help them and Kevin is going to want to just leave it alone and this will cause friction. Maybe not though. It's just hard to believe that everyone is going to shake hands and declare that bygones have all gone by and it's cool but who knows. Gotta feel for Solo in all this. I'm pretty sure he's going to end up siding with his brothers but .. who knows? He's still pretty green to get a world title run but... Who knows? If I was booking it, I would have Solo act like he's with Roman until probably Summer Slam, probably Jimmy vs Roman for the belts and then when it counts he hits the Samoan spike on Roman and that's what gives Jimmy the win.... Who knows though. Just keep Vince away
I love 99.9% of your booking! My ONLY change would be to have Jey in that slot instead of Jimmy.
I think Jey should win the belts or Solo himself! Build him up so big like they did with Batista! Main event Jey USO should come back because of Jimmy turning and Jey caught in the middle and then Roman beats Jimmy bad and Jey has no choice but to.side with his brother, then if Jey or Jimmy doesn't take the belts then they should wait until Solo is built up big enough!
@@donnelldorsey8544 well, I wouldn't be upset if it was Jey. Solo will get his time for sure. I think they should send him to Raw when the dust settles. When he wins it I would have him win it from Gunther in about 2 years. Cody was right, he's not ready. Batista is different, he was leviathan in OVW with Jim Cornette and he was super over. Anyone in that OVW class with Orton and Cena was ready to go the minute they hit the roster (booking aside). NXT isn't the same thing. They aren't teaching them the business. Look at all those guys compared to the FCW guys a few years later. It took years for Roman to get over despite the strongest push since Hogan. This is the problem with the fact that there is no territory system anymore. People used to have to work their way up a card, then go somewhere else and do it again. That's why your Flairs and Dusty's knew how to get ANYTHING over after a few years. These guys just throw stuff at the wall and hope it sticks. Look how many really talented people they have just discarded. Id hate to see that happen to Solo. Let him help his brothers replace Roman because he wants some time off, then let him get in a tag team, win the IC or US title and then shoot the moon with him. He's really young. We have time. Remember, Batista started late too.
Neither Uso is dethroning Reigns, come back to reality. They will both fail, but in doing so the wedge between Reigns and Solo will grow to a Solo/Reigns match or for Solo to backstab Reigns against the next No1 contender following the Usos.
First character growth they've allowed Roman in years.
This is cinema…. I hope this storyline shows the people who cry everytime a feud or storyline went past 2 PPVs that long term storytelling and character development is pure gold when done right. But you need to let things go past a certain time before all the nuances and little details can form and things can actually start to pay off
Awesome segment... lol I totally agree!!
I think people were so high on Cody prior to Wrestlemania, they forgot he legit had nothing to do with the Bloodline story. Cody beating Roman would have ruined the Bloodline story.
I think Jey turning first was so expected that WWE felt the need to pull a swerve with Jimmy, but even if they only thought about that, in line with the story, it makes perfect sense.
I was upset about Cody losing at Mania. (Still kind of disagree with it). But this Bloodline story is just getting so good. We see Reigns holding the title for so ( *so so so so so so so so so so so* ) long with the help of the Usos and Solo. And now it’s all crumbling down. The Usos turning on him seemed organic and everything is falling into place. The introduction of a new (?) title at first seemed to mean that Roman wouldn’t be losing anytime soon, but now I have a hope that he will (Maybe even to Cody??). And They’ll hopefully unify (Make it *one* title) the Universal and WWE titles. Having 3 world titles does seem a bit redundant. All in all great PLE, only thing I didn’t like was Bianca dropping the strap to Asuka, but I like her better when she’s chasing Gold.
Bianca losing to Asuka solves the problem of Raw champ being on smack down. Now a Raw superstar has the raw women's championship.
Roman’s is a unified title. It’s just two belts for aesthetic purposes (the iconic shots of him raising both belts). When he drops the title, the new champion will bring out a new title.
The bloodline story started with jay it should finish with jay dethroning roman at the end of the story for all the trauma and story with them
@@shubhamgoel1057 like they did on 39? And also the story on cody is chasing the title regardless who has it so in reality won’t impact his story but at the end of the day they will choose who will pin/submit roman
@@jeysusmorales112 it is most likely going to be cody or otherwise they wouldn't be doing what they doing with cody know. Rumours have gone round that it could be cody vs roman at wrestlemaina again but we will have to see.
@@pooldead7712 the last rumours about Cody's possible match at Wrestlemania next year were that he is going to be the World Heavyweight champion and to defend it against the possible winner of the men's Royal Rumble match next year ,Gunther
Absolutely love what they’re doing. And I do think Cody losing at mania is gonna be seen as a good decision now and after being angry initially I could see what they’re gonna do, I think he’ll get a rematch at mania 40. The only thing is, if that’s gonna happen, the bloodline might need a new member to keep it fresh
Hopefully Jacob Fatu's MLW contract expires soon, because the only other option is Ava, the Rock's daughter, who's in NXT, is only 22, and wants to do her own thing.
Not gonna lie, got pretty mad when Cody lost and Sami & Kevin feud continued for the next 2 months. But if it all had to lead to this moment and everything that will go down later on... Man, I can forget about the past! I'm hooked right back in and can't wait til friday
It's literally the greatest and most realistic storyline in all of pro wrestling. The story telling and drama during the matches are next level.
Jey is NOT turning yet. This is going to continue to make Jey a star because he has to choose between his brother or the bloodline. And Solo being his brother makes this even more difficult of a decision. Jimmy is the only rogue one here.
Think so? I was thinking he might just disappear altogether for a while. Jimmy and Roman may end up in this big feud and Jey might just go home until he pops up interfering in a match at like SummerSlam
Simon Miller Our 1 Hero!❤❤❤
When Simon spoke about the colors on the castle at 10:28 I was like ofc you'd paint it Red, Blue and gold reference Raw, Smackdown and Nxt 😅
I think the undisputed championship is in Cody’s future. Even if he’s losing now, we already have the seeds planted in our heads; he wants to do it for his father, Cody already fought Roman and lost, Cody is now fighting one of the scariest guys in the business and losing… These losses don’t make him weak, but it’s showing a character that still fights and endures. Some of the best heroes in any story go through hardships. With this long term storytelling, I’m guessing eventually Cody will beat Brock somehow, and could even enlist the help of KO + Zayn versus the Bloodline. Cody vs Reigns 1v1, KO + Zayn fend off the Bloodline. Solo also always struck me as a wildcard because he was sent down from the tribal elders to enforce stuff.
WWE has rarely gone wrong with this one so let’s enjoy it…
Shotzi, Paul, AJ, and so on showing up on the opposite show. Let's not pretend WWE cares so much about the draft's rules lol, they also mentioned they can do transfers whenever the heck.
For me this has to end with an appearance by Rikishi where Reigns tells him to acknowledge him and sort out his sons! Rikishi will refuse and then Reigns brutally attacks him leading to Sikoa finally snapping and coming to his father's defence leading to the Sikoa costing Reigns the title against Cody and setting up a match between Reigns and Sikoa with all of the family sat in the front row, Sikoa wins the family all enter the ring as Reigns is propped up I'm the corner with a look of disbelief. They all look at Reigns and then turn their backs on him and walk away. Reigns is left in the ring with Heyman who shakes his head turns his back and walks away and the story ends with Reign s alone in the ring!
Cory Graves mentioning Samu & Rikishi’s Samoan S.W.A.T team whilst the Samoan S.W.A.T team are current MLW tag champs gives me hope we could still see Jacob Fatu at somepoint in this story! Let him and Solo be the next version of the team in WWE!
I would love to see Rakishi involved as well and Roman beat him up. And then The Rock comes at Summerslam or something because he has seen enough and decided to step in after Roman beat up Rakishi
This may be a forgotten fact, but Rikishi (Solofa Fatu Jr.) had a younger brother named Edward who was a wrestler in WWE. Edward Fatu first worked as Jamal in Three Minute Warning with his cousin (Roman's brother Matt Anoa'i who went by Rosie). After that, he was repackaged as the Samoan Bulldozer Umaga who used the Samoan spike as his finisher. That's the same finisher his nephew Solo Sikoa uses.
Miller Castle ? Is that one of your family members' Corporations Simon LOL 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😎😎😎💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥

Bloodline Saga will be one of the greatest story in professional wrestling of all time
"Triple H sat down in his seat, spat water everywhere.." - I just about did the same. Bravo.
Man solo is gonna be a champ in the future.
This all circles around to how the group was formed ,,jey had to bow to roman to save jimmy ,,,
"I'm doing what you should've done a long time ago. I got you."
I don't watch the other storylines, but the Bloodline one is awesome everything about it ans Sami Zayn ... was simply great show
Solo *in public* "I feel nothing"
Solo *in private* "and I'll keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are, hope it's nice where you are." 😢
They totally planned for a Bianca vs Asuka rematch. The reason they didn't give Asuka the win for Wrestlemania was for Bianca to break the record and be "the longest reigning womens champion of the modern era". Once she passed that achievement, it seemed pretty obvious that Asuka was going to win. Asuka is one Triple H's favourites, Bianca was running out of credible challengers (the only person who would pose as a threat to Bianca on Smackdown is Charlotte Flair who is away at the moment) and Bianca's reign was turning stale based off the crowd reaction at previous PLE with Backlash.
Unfortunately Asuka remains winless at Wrestlemania and unfortunately I don't think it will change next year......
Super Bianca didn't needed her 100000th moment or achievement while Asuka came with a new character which would have benefited much more if she won at Wrestlemania
I recently moved to Las Vegas I'd love to meet you guys.
well we used to tell that they could've told this story even after the end of the reign but we'll only able to judge properly after the story is finished to have all the factors
Miss u Simon hope ur alright ❤🙏
When its still there you whatculture guys shoud go to that german themed restaurant....awsome food...also have fun 😊
The storyline was execllents people ya alright let see what happen on smackdown people
Simon Miller seems to really have a different vibe about the WWE I can't quite figure it out but he seems genuinely interested in the current product..
I feel like when everything breaks down with the Bloodline, it’s Solo to dethrone Roman
Cody winning would have benefitted just Cody. Cody losing has benefitted Jey, Jimmy, Solo, Roman, KO, Sami and Seth [in just 2 months]. Trust the process people. Cody's time will come. ❤
Not really.
At this point the title(s) are barely a Mcguffiin in the Bloodline story. It could have continued the same without keeping the belt(s) on Reigns.
Anyway.....meh
The red blue and gold are the colors for raw smack down and AEW
I'm stoked for Jimmie as much as I love Main Event Jey. I hope they both take a belt each off Roman at 40. Like Angle v Benoit v Jericho
I was thinking maybe they could do a thing where Paul claims he’s getting Rock to be Roman’s cornerman for WM40, since by then Roman will have broken up and feuded with all of the Bloodline members. Night One, Paul comes out for a big contract signing for DJ to sign on as Roman’s cornerman for Night Two. Then they do a big segment with the two men (Roman isn’t in town yet on Night One, but he’s counting on Paul to get this signing done). Paul and Rock have a big segment, play to the crowd, entertain them. Ultimately Rock Rock Bottoms Paul and says “HELL NO!” to the cornerman idea, ultimately predicting a Cody win for Night Two.
Just a way to book Rock for the show without him having to work or be a special ref, which might overshadow Cody’s win on Night Two.
I heard Rollins was done filming the movie Captain America New World Order.
I'm calling it now: Roman vs Jimmy for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank, Jey is the special guest referee. Roman hits the spear on Jimmy, Jey counts the pin. He raises Roman's hand, and just as we think Jey is still loyal to Roman, Jey hits Roman with a superkick, and holds the title high above his head. This leads to a triple threat between Roman, Jey, and Jimmy for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.
It kind of reminds me of how Evolution was running everything til RKO and Batista turned on HHH, only better.
You found the shade.
It would be pretty crazy if Jey turned on Jimmy. Solo on a pole match
Jey's reaction is gold btw☝️☝️☝️
now we get the tag match and the seperate uso matches and the solo match and suddenly it's year 5 of roman holding the goddamn belts
We are going to get Jimmy and Jey matches with Roman, a tag team match between them and Roman/Solo up until Survivor Series. From there we will have a War Games match. My guess would be Sami and KO will help the Usos because of some kind of post match fuckery at Summerslam or something (if I booked it I’d probably have Roman/Solo and the the Judgement Day joining because they will probably have some kind of feud for the tag titles vs Sami/KO/Usos/Cody). Usos get Solo to turn on Roman during that match and they win. Solo vs Roman at RR but Roman pulls a DQ finish just like he did with Seth. Cody wins the Rumble again and goes on to beat Roman at Mania.
Simon. Your hand. Are you...a host for the Venom symbiote now?
Anyone else seeing Triple H v Batista WM21 in Roman Reigns v Solo Sikoa at WM40? 🔥🔥
Simon , Will you be in Yeovil on Sunday for the UPW event ?
I will say, it was worth all the jerking us around with Cody at 'Mania and everything else JUST to hear the sound of that kick off Roman's head. I saw that and burst out laughing in an evil glee.
I agree. Not sure if there was as much of a long term story plan as wwe would have us believe, but damn, last night was awesome.
@@Sd12sx23 I have no doubt there were long term plans in place, but with ol' Vince McRapeFace back in ultimate control, I have no doubt those plans had to be changed often. Even with this being an awesome moment, I have no doubt it was a compromise between Vince, Trips, and the Saudis. I imagine Vince wanted the Bloodline to split, since he's a notorious hater of tag teams, Trips wanted the Bloodline to continue to maybe a blowup at SummerSlam, and the Saudis demand huge moments and grand story points being paid off. This feels like the middle ground between all three.
Jey should now 100% win the titles
In the world of Game of Thrones there is a common saying from higher society to someone “lesser than.” It’s YOU FORGET YOURSELF. The saying applies here with The Bloodline which is why it was always gonna be Jimmy to attack Roman. Jey was reminded a few years ago about his “place” when twice Roman desemated him in the ring. Jimmy turn now. Now what I HOPE happens is we briefly insert Rikishi……even Afa & Sika…..which will lead to The Rock. If this does happen, Afa will be pro Roman, or against Roman. The latter is more intriguing imho.
They needed to continue the Bloodline and Cody feud. Top 3 best storyline WWE has ever had. That feud was personal and had history going back decades. They definitely needed a few more months of that. At least one more match. But the Sammy thing was picking up hella steam so I get it.
Someone who understands wrestling booking: Cody losing at Wrestlemania wasn't as bad as people think, let the story play out.
Random internet fan: Nope, it was the wrong call.
@MomPickMeUpImScared Majority of people who actually understand how long term wrestling storylines work, Jim Ross being one of them, said it was the right call. I'd rather take the opinion of someone who knows the business then some internet wrestling fan on social media.

I get it… but this story still could be told and compelling without him being double champion even though they are never defended separately. Arguably would be a better story if he lost a title or both. Because then the Usos really have a case not to listen to or believe Roman

Simon i cannot believe your waiting around in my town to go watch double of nothing! Not many others are either! Lol
*I do love the bloodline storyline but I don’t need everything in WWE on Smackdown & Raw to be about or focused on them. There’s like 65 other wrestlers lol*
You know a storyline is good when I came here from tiktok😂
My last wrestling match I watch was Romain beating undertaker I think
There's a possibility that if Cody won at WM, the fans would have already turned on him. Sometimes, it's just better to just sit back and enjoy the show. Even the outburst (especially on Twitter) about AJ and Seth not going on last now seems funny. There's no way any match or segment is going to follow the Bloodline with that ending.
I’ve enjoyed the whole Bloodline storyline. I hope it continues for years. There, I said it. Cody Rhodes is boring and he’d only bring down the championship.
I don't know if anyone else heard and Jay but he was saying Romans real name. He was calling him. Joe
I agree except for one key variable:
Roman holding the titles for another ~10 months without the Bloodline makes ZERO sense. Zero. So I don't know how you reconcile that while waiting from WM40 for anyone to beat him. It still doesn't quite work for that reason if this really is going until Mania again.
Roman v Solo @ Royal Rumble sets up Cody-Roman for WM but this time Roman has no one to save him at the end
Could you imagine a triple threat at summerslam between roman reigns and the usos and the both get the pin and split the titles? That be a dope payoff imo
I like that Roman is still champ. I find it’s like marvel, we’re in the civil war phase,
If Thano’s didn’t win in infinity war then we wouldn’t of had Endgame
If you watch Cody Rhodes promo he said all of this WWE is just playing it out in the long term story
