Does Cambodia need two oversized airports?
In 2050, the airports in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh can handle 62 mio passengers yearly.
So far, the busiest year 2019 saw 6.7 mio arrivals at the three international airports in Cambodia.
Even with full post pandemic recovery, I doubt the number of tourists will ever exceed 10 mio yearly.
Is Cambodia trying to become a transit hub in competition with Bangkok and Singapore?

I heard it was only 72.2% complete.
Another person boasted it was 72.4% complete.
You can't all be right.
It might be as much as 73% complete.
Seriously, a fraction of a percentage in this context is data noise.
Someone is reading straight of a sloppy spreadsheet. Stop it. This is silly. Think.
I'm sure that the new airport will be finished on time, on budget and very, very nice.
