Kinda weird that Eikþyrnir is a Deer Minotaur (2 legs) and he's a cavalry, whereas Heiðrun is a Goat Centaur (4 legs) and she's in infantry.
Do you know what I find even weirder? They're all family, yet only Ratatoskr becomes an actual squirrel while everyone else becomes monster girls, and in deer man case, a deer minotaur.
Yes, i feel like that might catch some (me included) by surprise at some points. I also kept forgetting about Muspell being an horse dragon.
@@krislee3155 Yeeeep. Harpy, Lamia, Deer Minotaur, Goat Centaur. Ratatoskr is really the odd one out just being a squirrel with human eyes. I thought they were all gonna be glowing animals, but everyone after Ratatoskr ended up being some weird semi-human mythical creature.

I'm going for the muscle babe. Heidrun is absolutely going to be busted in SD. They are literally fixing every single one of Emblem Ike's weaknesses when any new broken unit comes out. Now she can help him cancel out Deep Wounds. Deep Wounds should have never had any full counters at all, ever. Especially one as widespread and easy to give out as this.
The strategy is to run Nergal, and you can play the game. Also, Duo Thorr is still amazing for her bonus cleansing, but also Loki who is on the banner.
Wasn’t a surprise for me I predicted this banner yesterday only thing I didn’t get right is I thought goat mom Heiδrunn would be a cav. I knew their color, prf skill names and prf skill placement and even speculated deer dude Eikthrnir would come with Atk/Def Excel.
Unfortunately I WILL be pulling on this banner, Heithrun's time in the story has been brief so far but she's so sweet and I adore her already. She plays the exact same role Kvasir did, but without being creepy as fuck. Plus I see her being a VERY likely candidate for the wretched "weaponless wall" strats in Aether Raids, where people set up beefy units without any weapons to encase some Saves and a healer. Eikthrynir... well he's very handsome so that's also gonna be a yes from me. But I better not see anyone complain about guys being horny for the girl characters when all I've ever seen about Eikthyrnir was how much people want to fuck him. Overall, VERY strong banner and with how the story's been going, we're already seeing MUCH more interesting story potential. I wonder if when Laeradr was mentioned as having been separated by loved ones, maaaaaybe he was Henriette's first husband, hmm?
I think people in general should stop whining about when anyone are attracted to characters that are designed to be super appealing

@@fluffystagbeetle4526 Agreed, I saw someone once complaining about the Seidr/Heidr New Years alt being drawn by Cuboon because "Oh this alt was their chance to make Seidr wholesome and they just sexualized her" and it's like... Dude. Seidr, Gullveig, and Nerthuz EXIST SOLELYto be tiddy fodder. My only (semi)joking complaint is that Yoshiku was a coward for not making Njordr a hot bombshell as well. And saw another person arguing that Eikthrynir "wasn't really sexualized" compared to the Book 7 characters (obvious lie).
Very tempting to roll, but Brave Alfonse takes priority. Staying strong for Brave Al

Was expecting Heiórún this banner, but not Deer Dude. They both look very tempting (Especially Deer Dude for that Atk/Def Excel that'll slap like crack on my max invest Berkut) but the new Brave Heroes are just a couple weeks away.

Heiorun might be the faster OC introduction to actual Hero in them, isn't she? Really thought the beast form was gonna be a big ol' bunny, but I'll take another goat, if that is what she is. Kinda confusing since she's also infantry. I kinda expected her primary ability to just be an anti-fatal smoke Hero, but they gave her so much to be an annoying support to take down as well! Stronghold being like Verge and Death, but for bulk, is gonna be obnoxious on the super tanks, whether its a savior, or a Laguz Friend user. I kinda wished she introduced a beast only defensive special, cause everyone else has it but them now.
Eikrpyrnir is really showing he's the actual Golden Deer Claude and class should be looking up to. Fierce Blast, finally a beast Special, which is nice that it's DR piercing, but we just got their DR-halving not too long in Bridal Embla. A/D Excel, of course, make sense, so he has a bit more DR to potential tank a mage/dragon counter hit. Divine Strength is nuts. If there was ever a time for Solid Ground to demote into main pool, this would be it. Losing the before combat Attack AND Defense check against him feels like a death sentence. Add all that together with Beast Threaten, and I don't know if even Emblem Ike can tank those hits! I mean, with some investment, he's more likely to, but I still give the edge against him, cause that's powercreep for ya.
Banner-wise, I don't see how you can go wrong in either Green or Colorless. I cant pick between Red and Blue on which is worst, but I'm gonna try to avoid them. Rally Up Luck+ to anyone summoning, I think I might have to leave King Niovallnir behind, cause I just sparked Eirika, and I only got Amelia with the pity beforehand, but I am also 1 charge away, and the summer banner did bless with a Triple Focus Charge circle. (Summer Alear and 2 Petra with 4 star focus)
Did Dagr get added this fast? Not that I'm complaining, Heithrun is a sweetie so far and I'm happy to build her (even more happy if she gets to be the New Years alt for 2025).
I'd like to potentially get an extra Eikthrynir to fodder onto Caineghis for that Fierce Beast special. Don't know if it'll be a good choice or not, but doesn't hurt to experiment a bit.
@@TheChildofAuraReborn I might be wrong, but it's still incredibly fast! I could really see the whole family together for the New Year, that's for sure. I can grant a personal Rally Luck+ for that, idk who I would pass it to off the bat, probably Mythic Freyr.

I think Stronghold removes in combat debuffs, like ALL debuffs. Period. Even things like rein skills. Kinda ridiculous if you think about it.

This double mythical banner looks interesting.
I didn't expect Heiórún's beast form to look like that. Looks like an odd goat centaur (since again most of the FEH OCs are based on a character from Norse Mythology here). Besides that, her exclusive skills look insane.
Eikpyrnir's skills here look impressive too.
I think I'll try my hand summoning on this banner. Hopefully I can get one of them or both. Along with the other units here. Weather I have them already for duplicates or the ones I don't have yet.

To give a bit more about Skeledirge, don't worry I'm not the type of person who gets butt hurt over people with a different opinion then mine. The reason I love him so much is because I love reptiles but also because he's the first starter in awhile that's designed as an actual animal and not some anthropomorphic furry.
If you like that style of design then that's fine, in fact I do like Meowscarada and Quaquaval has grown on me alot over time, but as someone who loves monsters and creatures I'm not too much of a fan of the increasingly anthropomorphic designs for starters as of late. Ask my friends, they'll tell you how I was pleading for Fuecoco to just turn into a big fire crocodile and not anthro.
That's the reason the Gen 8 starters are my least favorite starter trio because they're two anthropomorphic. Rillaboom gets a pass because he's a gorilla but Inteleon and Cinderace, especially Cinderace, not so much.
If I do get an extra copy of "Deer Dude" I'm giving the Excel to my OG Xander without a second thought. Gives me a reason to use him a lot more!

Well, I have no orbs, but the fact that the new waifu is a defensive mythic makes skipping her sting a bit less. We all know she'll get a new alt come New Year's anyway.
