I'm not asking his permission, I'm just conversing. Most people don't realize but when you are shooting live and don't have a team stopping you to make edits, it's not easy, so sometimes I just want to know if what I'm saying makes sense and will come across to the audience correctly.
@@MakeItDairyFree This is *not* shade: The original poster brought up something that I've also noticed. You look at your husband quite often and ask him to agree or comment. It comes across as looking for approval of what you've said or how you're presenting the information. That may not be what you're feeling or want to convey, but the perception is there. I would encourage you to watch some of the posts without sound. It's easier to see body language that way.

[gasps, passes out!] NO WAY!!! Anyhoo, this is amazing news, unless they suck now . . . they don't suck, yay! I miss their Thousand Island dressing, and hope they bring it back. Just's mayo was their best product, so I don't understand why they would stop making it to focus just on vegan scrambled egg. I guess 70% of their Twitter replies whining about wanting their mayo and dressings back finally got through, LOL! Thanks for posting!

@@MakeItDairyFreefrom what I heard, they had been sued over it, and lacked the round of funding they tried to raise to keep that part of the company going. Maybe then ditching it helped settle the suits and there has been enough time ( and all the mayo company's are producing vegan mayo as well instead of suing) they got the funding they needed to bring that arm of the company back on board......

I loved Just Ranch years ago. I went to Whole Foods yesterday and stumbled across them! I was so surprised, I had to find out if anyone else knew about it. So happy the ranch is in glass jars now.

I currently use Hellman's mayo, the best I've found in my opinion, and Follow Your Heart ranch, pretty comparable to Hidden Valley and cheaper than most ranch options. But I'm always excited to try something new...until I heard the price, YIKES! I'm really tired of paying the Vegan tax.

Have you tried the Hidden Valley plant based ranch? I can only seem to find it stocked at Walmart in my area and the price of the plant based vs regular was essentially the same. I can't have dairy and the rest of my household can and made them do a blind taste test between the plant based and regular and they couldn't tell the difference. I don't use ranch too often but sometimes it is nice. Sorry to ramble especially if you already knew
@@N33k5I have tried Hidden Valley plant based and it's very good and readily available in my area, but Follow Your Heart plant based is also really good and cheaper. Always looking to save where I can!
@@cydonia3167 No problem! The Follow Your Heart brand ranch isn't something I have seen in my area and I know everywhere is different. I am glad you have something you like at a price you are willing to pay. :)
Hellmans and hidden valley has bioengineered ingredients so i stat away from them both

If I did a mayo test, I would try it with Gardein Fish Filets, because tartar sauce is basically mayo and relish so it wouldn't be too weird to try.

I am so glad I came across this video!! I used to love Just mayo and then couldn't find it anymore. Seeing this video, I checked our local grocery stores and found it at Whole Foods. Bought both the regular and chipotle. Skipped on the dressing though. Love the mayo!!!! Just how I remembered. Thank you!! ❤❤❤

Just Mayo used to be shelf stable before being opened. I used to get it, a number of years ago. My favorite egg free mayo, though, is the Best Foods one. And they recently came out (or I recently found) an egg free ranch and egg free garlic aioli type sauce.

My spouse really liked the original Just Mayo before and they are super hyped to try this new vegan friendly version even though they aren't vegan themself. Thanks for letting us know that it's out and doesn't taste like gross sludge

While it was my favorite mayo by far I will not be picking it up at its current price.
You could try it on celery, a cucumber, or carrot.

I think Wendy's first report of raising prices were exactly what they were planning to do, but I don't think they were ready for the push back. Wendy's is bottom of the list when it comes to fast food chains to most people. My kids prefer them, but I don't think raising prices during certain times would be a great idea for them at all. I love the longer posts, so keep them coming. ❤

I loved Just Mayo and it was only $3.99 for a 30 oz bottle. 12 oz bottle is now $10. When it vanished I called the company and was told they were "ramping up production" and it would be back soon. Six months or so and no mayo I called again and was told the same thing and again, no mayo came forth. A third time contacting the company and was told they had discontinued it and were concentrating on Just Egg. Now they have added 4 ounces to Just Egg and doubled the price. Seems like this company doesn't quite know what they are doing, discontinuing the best and least expensive vegan mayo to concentrate on a vegan egg product, then doubling it's price and now bringing back the mayo and jacking up it's price in a smaller package. I'll make my own mayo and tofu scramble.

None of the Just products have a long shelf life. I think it's because they do not use preservatives. I haven't seen the condiments here in California as of yet.

1:40 - The air quotes made perfect sense. "The company Just came out with mayo" (meaning a company named "Just" is making mayo), and "The company just came out with mayo" (meaning a company recently starting making mayo) sound exactly the same. The air quotes made it clear that you meant the first, not the second.

There goes my money! Know these will be amazing before even watching the review. JUST is a great brand, they developed a replacement meat that is grown from one cell in a lab and is free from cruelty and free of disease. No difference in taste from what I hear. That IS exciting.

Lol I hated mayo and Ranch. There is only 1 vegan mayo I like .. Ranch hidden valley taste good but I use the mayo and add a chipolte pepper to make chipolte sauce that tastes amazing.

7:16 Confusion about your comment, "Canola...which is typically not ok for people with corn..." Assuming you meant for people with corn allergies...? Canola is not related to corn and does not contain corn, unless via cross contamination. It is made from the canola plant. Think your getting that oil confused with vegetable oils that can be a blend of canola, corn, soybean, safflower, palm and sunflower oils. Palm oil is not vegan. Thanks for your review though. 🙂
Palm oil is technically vegan but since orangutans die when they burn down their jungle habitat to grow the palm plants, I don't really consider it vegan either....sooooo many vegans don't care about this point and it's confusing to me because it's really the same point as dairy. Dairy itself doesn't kill cows but the calves get sent to slaughter so they can milk their moms.
I understand, it's from the rapeseed plant; however, many people with corn allergies cannot also consume canola (specifically in the US) because of how it's processed. Hope this clears up any confusion.
