- In this video, we highlight our #beginners once again by documenting the FIRST EVER 5-on-5 UNDERGROUND #whitebelt Quintet. In the style of Quintet Grappling, we have 2 teams of 5 go head to head in consecutive 1-on-1 matches - that means 10 whole #jiujitsu whitebelts going at it with pride, ego, and glory on the line... and it was incredible.
Will Vandal have what it takes to take home a W in front of a live audience? Or will the visiting gym, The 36/Pacific Top Team vanquish our heroes and leave us defeated...

great channel and videos.
one thing though, the way some of these guys flow in their movement tells me some are not white belts. also the telltale sign of white belts, being out of breath and gasping for air was missing from some competitors

Why was it only a three minute round, when the 200 lbs guy, Brian in black, had his turn? Is that an offical qintet rule? Because it seems very unfair. Exhaustion and overall weigth limit are part of the strategy after all.
Good question! The way we run it, If there’s a 30lbs+ weight discrepancy between fighters, the smaller fighter gets to choose between a 3 or 6 minute round.

Look up local bjj gym near you, call and ask to try one day free (many gyms let guests come in once free)
Are they not allowed to do ankle lock this gym because as a white belt 12,000% of my white belt no gi for me is straight ankle locks lol
