    Sometimes it is easier to understand watching it on video than actually being there.

    Perhaps the only video I've see on Krishnamurti where it looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

    If perception is out of time; and time is the movement of thought; then through syllogism, perception is out of the movement of thought…thusly, one can only ‘perceive’ if thought is absent (out of time).
    But who has time to understand this…

    Time never stops so therefore, you cannot count it. There is no 24 or 48 hours in order for you to count something it would have to start and be quantifiable and time is not quantifiably available because it never stops.

    K: But the psychological hurts are much more important and difficult to grapple with and understand. I think it is necessary because a mind that is hurt is not an innocent mind. The very word 'innocent' comes from 'innocere', not to hurt. A mind that is incapable of being hurt. And there is a great beauty in that.
    A: Yes, there is. It's a marvellous word. We have usually used it to indicate a lack of something.
    K: I know.
    A: Yes, and there it's turned upside down again.
    K: And the Christians have made such an absurd thing of it.
    A: Yes, I understand that.
    K: So I think we ought to, in discussing religion, we ought to enquire very, very deeply into the nature of hurt, because a mind that is not hurt is an innocent mind. And you need this quality of innocency to be so totally attentive.

      “I have said that an innocent mind is one that is not caught in the psychological structure of society, and is therefore free of conflict; it is not weighed down by remembrances of things past - which is not a state of amnesia; it is no longer held in technique, though technique is necessary.
      One of our difficulties, it seems to me, is that we get hold of a word like innocency, or immensity, or `creation', and then try to relate everything to that particular word. As I have said, the word is not the thing. The word `meditation' is not the state of meditation; the word `innocency' is not the state of innocency. But when there is the state of innocency. it is also the state of meditation. You cannot come to that state of innocency as long as you are ambitious, as long as your mind is petty, as long as you are caught in the psychological structure of society and are nothing but an embodied technique - which is what most of us are. We have a job because we have got to earn a livelihood and we are little better than machines, however clever, cunning, or subtle we may be. A machine-like mind is not an innocent mind. The computers, the electronic brains are probably very innocent, but they are fashioned out of metals, they are not living beings as we are. Eventually a machine may be invented that will have a kind of life of its own, and perhaps they are very close to it already. But to reduce ourselves to the point where we function like machines in our technological efforts, in our acquisition of knowledge, in our piling up of experience, does not bring about innocency. Innocency is that state in which the mind is always young and fresh. An innocent mind has no fear of death, no fear of any kind, and it is therefore free of time.”

    Does the change happen by the action of will and motive? I mean that how change happens what is the process of it?

    • @nazirekaniarath8976
      @nazirekaniarath8976 Před 6 měsíci +2

      K has been saying that fundamental change won't happen by will or motive rather the "change" has happened when there is no will or motive. So naturally there are no process or steps to it.

      Through observation 1st with thoughts. Watch them arise see their nature and where they truly come from. When you sit and relax and fear deep relaxation where does that fear really come from? Watch it fall apart in an instant when you realize it's not your thoughts that brought the fear, rather its probably a collection of things others have said. A sensation will follow, as light is shed.

      So, I’ll use words to explain but it’s not factual to u. Will, I, motive, prejudice DOES NOT totally change a human mind. It’s only when the “I” understands it’s uselessness in bringing about a FUNDAMENTAL change, it quietens out (emptying of the mind)

    • @IAn0nI
      @IAn0nI Před 6 měsíci

      By intense observation of the apparent action of will and motive.

    • @andrewjakubczak1512
      @andrewjakubczak1512 Před 6 měsíci +1

      Will and motive are THOUGHS (time) which have accumulated by the process of prolonged thinking adding a specific direction (polarization). In other words, thoughts are electromagnetic energy, which is stored in our psyche/body with a specific charge (+) or (-).
      Change about which J.K. is talking cannot come from the THINKING PROCESS, as that only ADDS to the stored energy, or CHANGES its POLARIZATION from negative to positive, or vice versa. REAL change comes from PURE OBSERVATION in which thought is not operating. That is why he calls it OUT OF TIME. CHANGE is the DISSAPATION of stored in the brain/psyche/body ENERGY, by changing its charge to neutral.
      ANALOGY for you (FOG/SUN)
      FOG is essentially a cloud that forms at ground level when the air near the surface becomes saturated, usually due to cooling temperatures or added moisture. When the SUN rises, the air and ground warm up. This leads to the air temperature being warmer than the dew point temperature, which causes the fog droplets to evaporate. SUN rays DISSIPATE FOG!!!
      You can compare your thinking to a FOG. More thinking (moisture) = THICKER FOG! Can you see far when the fog is thick? Not much! The same process can be observed in our minds. When one's mind is in overdrive .. FOG is everywhere. There is no CLARITY!
      When PURE OBSERVATION happens, no thoughts are present. That PURE SEEING is like SUN RAYS heating up the moisture particles in the air and evaporating (dissipating) them.
      PURE OBSERVATION eliminates stored electromagnetic energy changing it to neutral anergy. CLARITY is the effect of that process. The more clarity in the mind (less fog), the easier is to PERCEIVE and see our motives, drives, attachments... JUST SEEING THEM (becoming aware) does the trick = starts the process of DISSIPATION.
      I hope it helps :)
