- yeah I took damage during the intro sequence prior to the main fight, I just wanted to rush through it
also this is the easiest boss, I'm never doing this again going forward.
This video was super helpful, I had no idea how to dodge his purple blasts or what to do when he started chasing. Fight became really easy after a few attempts trying to do those correctly.
An 8 minute long fight. I literally just started this game, chose hard, and spent an hour fighting this one guy at level 3 as well lol. What a garbage first "real" enemy in the game. The game has not even talked about teleporting attacks or combo finishers yet and they throw this guy at you who can do over 2000 damage per hit. After beating him, I had to go online to see if there was a better way to fight him but no... 8 minutes is apparently the right amount of time to battle a guy who can kill you in three wrong moves.
Simply because 99% players do not understand the battle mechanism of DBZ Kakarot.
@@hishot1078 at this point in the game, might be safe to say 100% of players. Literally the hardest fight in the entire game if you focus on the story only lol the game still hasn't even finished teaching you the basic fundamentals of how to play yet AND you're under leveled. I still remember this horrible difficulty spike even one year later, just awful pacing. I don't know about others but this fight actually ended up ruining the rest of the game for me because, by the end of this fight, I had already mastered everything the game had to offer. After Raditz, nothing else provided any challenge; the difficulty slope only went down.
@@mercenarytao7930 You can break the Raditz attack mechanism with ki surge. I don't know if anyone else knows this.

@@josemolina3858did you do cell junior that fight too so long for me to complete and me saying a boss fight took too long really means it took long because I just completed Elden ring before coming to check this game out😅
Most impressive! I’m assuming you’re using Z orbs to level up attacks on the skill tree. Would be interesting to see you try this without using them at all. 💪

actually I wouldn't know... I don't really know what I'm talking about at all tbh, I'm still fairly new to the game and don't really know what is and isn't normal for a traditional playthrough. I was just making an inference based on what I saw on screen and haven't done any research to know what's considered normal or not. I was under the assumption that maybe you could become properly leveled if you decided to grind some roamers? idk.
Maybe I thought I was only underleveled since I was running a mod that's supposed to make the game more difficult while also reducing the amount of experience you earn. But moving forward I imagine there should be a larger level discrepancy that presents itself if I choose to make more videos. But for the sake of context, from what I remember the mod creates a bigger power gap between you and your opponent as long as you're at least one level below them. So in a way, this fight is 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘢 more underleveled than vanilla since the gameplay is more punishing as a result of the already expected, underleveledness? I dunno if that even properly translates to a no damage fight anyways, and I'm making up words now so idk, it's probably a stretch... but I'm trying!
idk if anyone here in the comments section is actually interested, but as a status update I'm on temporary hiatus playing this game as I wait for the next-gen graphical upgrades to come to PC (Fingers crossed they even do...), plus I'm malding at the fact that I had a no damage Vegeta fight that was 10 times as interesting as this one, but the video got corrupted at the end. I'm guessing Level 17 vs Level 20 is as expected for that fight too, but perhaps due to the mod I felt the power difference a whole hell of a lot more, especially with how quickly he would drop me like a fly, which is kinda what led me to do the no damage runs in the first place since I was dying so quickly. I was doing far less damage to him, and I actually made some risky plays that probably would be a pain trying to replicate. I have the recording all the way up till the final phase, but despite it being more entertaining imo, I figured it'd be lame to upload something incomplete. I'll just have to try again when I'm not burnt out, whenever that'll be (I'm not that confident tbh :|)
Honest opinion though, do you find the underleveled part of the video's title to be redundant and think it should be removed? Or do you think it's fine leaving as is for the sake of parity with potential future uploads?

@@Holzoth I did think it was weird you were level 3 though, you're level 4 at the minimum during that fight, so yeah you honestly were underlevelled

@Holzoth Hey! Good gameplay. I would actually love to see some of the risky moves, maybe a mish mash/highlight of the good footage you have against Vegeta for your no hit attempt. It's hard to find skillplay like this on kakarot like the no hit run. Most videos are how to level up faster or easier blah blah blah...
