The winch is an awesome idea! I really like how you hid it under the work bench. It was cool to see the Miata start too. I’m excited to see what Cameron does with it! Nice work guys!
I plan to weld another receiver to my trailer so I can also slide the winch in it when I need it. I will definitely have to upgrade winches for that though.
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead yeah after picking up the the case with a come along I will be doing the same thing. If I pick up more projects. Like either of us need more. Lol
Looks like a fun day in the shop! My daughter and I would do pretty much the same as y'all when I had my shop... Hopefully I'll be able to build one here at our new place sometime soon. The "barn find" that could have been mine (if I could have afforded it) was a '57 Bel Air 4 door I could have gotten for $500 in '90. It was sitting in a friend-of-a-friend's backyard (along with a half dozen other classic cars) and the year before the city passed an ordinance that basically made his collection illegal. Someone turned him in and the city threatened to fine him for every day that the cars sat out back, so he was trying to get rid of 'em quick. Aside from being dirty from sitting out in the open for who knows how long, it was it excellent shape. I don't even remember it having any body damage. It was complete, and seemed bone stock from what I remember. Even if I could have afforded it, I was 15 and didn't know squat about working on cars at the time anyway...but if I had...

Barn find in 1980 I bought a 1969 Buick Electra for $60.00. It was a tank with a 430 in it :) Edit I added year...
$60! That’s crazy! You drive it a while?
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead Only got 2 years out of it , back then recent married $ was tight we went to light on antifreeze and froze soft plugs :(
@@bhall7997 I'd say two years out of a $60 wasn't bad even then!
I sure hope your son gets a big discount on his auto parts.
He’s gonna need it!
