  • I went to the L’Unione Italiana Cemetery in Ybor City to explore where the people who helped build Ybor were laid to rest.

Here's some history YOU WILL NOT HEAR FROM THE OWNERS. PLEASE feel free to research my every word! This cemetery has been completely redone. There are countless bodies unaccounted for, including my son! This was College Hill Cemetery. This in the 1800's was a " colored" folks cemetery. The very 1st known burial was a 1yr old child who was child to the original owner of the land. After you confirm my every word, PLEASE PASS IT ON I KNOW WHAT THEY DID WITH MY SON! I have TONS OF TRUTHFUL KNOWLEDGE! Also I am born and raised right here in Tampa. It's amazing this cemetery was used also for people who couldn't afford a burial and the state or ect. was paying. You will NOT find those people anymore, not a trace! I was upset a family member took pictures during my son's funeral, GOD IS GOOD! Because only pure greed and evil would do this! Yeah lol! Mass Robbery!!!

      Hey Travis,
      Thank you for commenting!
You know, what’s actually fascinating is the evolution of how we interact with cemeteries. You’re not alone in thinking people should “respect the dead” by staying out of graveyards, but that’s a rather new idea. Cemeteries are specifically designed for people to come and visit them, and I’m not just talking about friends and family. Greenwoods Cemetery in Brooklyn NYC was at one point the 2nd most visited tourist attraction in the USA, and Catholic Calvary is equally interesting. Pere Lachaise in Paris, home to Jim Morrison’s grave is visited by hundreds of thousands of people annually. The Bone Chapel of Kutna Hora. Westminster Abbey’s walls are filled with corpses. The graves lining the Mount of Olives aren’t filled with olive pits. Grant’s Tomb.
Anyway, I really respect your feedback and want to let you know I sincerely appreciate you.
      Best wishes,
      Chris Sandeman
