There's no amusement or theme parks in the Central Valley so it's much needed. They haven't expanded or changed the target audience since opening. I'm hoping they begin to see that and grow. Will be a win win situation for parents and kids. These casinos will make more money if they open amusement park or theme park near their casino.

Hi Lulu, yeah same for me too. Although we had a lot of fun, the prices are not comparable to what they have or offer for your admission. I think the train should be included. Or maybe if they had a season pass it would be worth it cause then you can go when you like. I'm hoping the high prices are just for the moment to get profit for upgrades to the park. We’ll much new news to me I had no idea it is Dianeyland related and still even learning about that you are still getting your money worth this is a great place for families to go to for all generations now and to come so I believe you have got your money worth it has lots of new improvements to the park it looks great 👍 glad in the end you finally said something positive about it

I know it's not a huge type of production park but it has to start somewhere. I know it's an old park but I feel with how things have changed so much, this park is kinda literally starting all over again and I'm excited for it's future.
l went to play land and l went to that ride in the intro and is the sky glider and it was fun and those tae cups l was going so fast it was me and my family and it was fun l went on recles it was fast so l got wet so my favorite ride was the sky glider

OK, thanks for posting this video. I was like wondering and had a lot of questions because the site does not tell you any information about the food or what exactly you’re buying, but I was pretty much thinking I mean it’s not Disney. It’s not the zoo but the price the entrance price was a little hefty. I just wanted to know what was included with the price and what did the food look like if I was going to spend that much money and I already know my kid only likes certain things, and if we were only basically going for the train is what he wants. I definitely want to take him. And a couple other friends want to go but I was just like I like to know what I’m getting into before I go. So thanks for sharing this video really helps and I appreciate the ugly and the truth.

I would suggest just eat something outside right before getting there and after, it might come out cheaper and maybe just get a couple snacks. If you wanna just check it out for free, this Thursday I believe is their community day and it's free admission. It should say on their IG. Its a dissipoinent because of the prices. We have a lit of poverty in Fresno and I know a lot of falmilies will not be able to afgord to take their kids.

Yeah especially since it's in a public park-in addition to the zoo expansions that have been putting more and more public green space behind a paywall. I'm glad they're investing in Roeding Park but it's frustrating that Olive still does not have complete sidewalks crossing the train tracks for kids in the neighborhood to walk to their own local park

Not knowing anything about the history of this place or Fresno, I'm surprised anyone is willing to spend money there. It looks like a county fair or a parking lot carnival with less to offer.
If you don’t like the food go somewhere else and it but don’t bash one of Fresno County historic sites because it’s a great place to take your family in Fresno County it is as close as you’ll feel like your at the real Disney land amusement park and I don’t think the price is bad at all inflation you know is everywhere in all amusement parks and play places including water parks and ps if you are a born Fresno native you should be proud to see revenue being raised in your town it means money raised into your community locally so don’t complain about the price or you can take your money and go elsewhere because I think they have made a lot of upgrades to their park so I know why they would have to raise their prices but it’s still a good price for all you guys got to do ❤😊😂😅
Well I think it's because ppl are passionate about Fresno and have high expectations for their own neighborhoods so sometimes if those expectations are not met or things are done halfy its disappointing. Also, if you received cold food or very minimal effort in it or anything you buy, I do think as paying customers we have the right to let them know in a very respectful way. The only way we improve is hearing what we can do better. But always In a constructive manner and respectfully. We definitely have to support our hometown places but that doesn't mean these places can also take advantage of that and barely make an effort. As with all new places that open, they make mistakes and they learn. I guarantee that Playland would agree, which is why they also made adjustments to prices and operations. I think I would loose my credibility if I'm not honest with places I go. It's never a bash but just being honest. Just as you are giving criticism and you definitely have that right and please continue to voice your opinions, but as does everyone else have that right. Hey, you know what though, i do appreciate you commenting and letting us know how you feel and we appreciate your time. Never stop being awesome.
@@doodwithacru I have been many places to eat out at in my life and I have received cold food before and sometimes not cooked enough but I don’t verbally bash the establishment to anyone I just go to the people that serve me my food and politely ask them to please fix this issue and they most always do you know the old saying the customer is always right ! This goes for anyone who shops anywhere that is a consumer you always go straight to the source first to try and get a resolution to solve your issue you have. @@doodwithacru your very welcome I just believe in keeping it real and being open and honest it is what it is it is all about integrity and sharing information with others that might help them it’s like people here is a hypothetical example a person goes out to eat at a restaurant and the food they ordered didn’t come out the way they ordered it either lack of communication with their waitress or waiter not getting the order right so they comeback with your food they gave you the wrong food or they didn’t cook it like you asked for you know rare medium rare or well done so you tell them there is something wrong with your order to that employee if they don’t help you you ask to speak with their supervisor and if they still don’t help you you ask for the manager you see what I mean chain of command you go through the right channels to solve the problem so the customer is always right you will get your solution to your issue solved so the end result you left a satisfied customer because you chose to handle the situation correctly 🇺🇸🗽💯☮️✡️👼👍❤️🙏🎆✝️🥰😇👏😆🤗

@mavlr06 so I don't they'll say anything if you do take an iPad but honestly I wouldn't really trust that ride unless you know you can definitely hold on to your iPad. It's a very bumpy coaster and whips you around so if you do and they don't day anything just make sure you hold on tight hahaha if you visit I hope you have a great time.

Some of Us have already TOLD the optimistic do gooders; Playland is simply Not Going To Work Long-term. I'll explain: What is offered, is a play setting surrounded by a blighted area of Fresno. An area, well known and replete with low income homes, poverty, prostitution just across the street on two main streets, near ganglike living within the zip code, and not nearly enough of the once traditional population that used to actually LIKKE and GO for the theme for which the attraction is based upon, sigh.. Question: Doesn't Anybody have one drop of Common Sense..?, or are We really trying to kid ourselves, that Beer, Taco Trucks, and Sporting Events in' This Era, is far more entertaining, than Tea Cups and Helicopters, that are often used today to tell us from the Air, To ' Come Out With Our Paws Where We Can See Them...! Just saying, but let us get real, Friends. Peace!

With the crazy prices I don’t believe it’ll last long unless they lower the prices. Parents just need to supervise children pay $25 also which I find ridiculous

@lnrb-rock1879 I love hearing all the different memories ppl remember from here. The paddle boats are one that ppl hope they come back. I'm really glad Fresno has an amusement park open again. I know it's not a huge type of production park but it has to start somewhere. I know it's an old park but I feel with how things have changed so much, this park is kinda literally starting all over again and I'm excited for it's future.
l went to play land and l went to that ride in the intro and is the sky glider and it was fun and those tae cups l was going so fast it was me and my family and it was fun l went on recles it was fast so l got wet so my favorite ride was the sky glider

I was like wondering and had a lot of questions because the site does not tell you any information about the food or what exactly you’re buying, but I was pretty much thinking I mean it’s not Disney. It’s not the zoo but the price the entrance price was a little hefty. I just wanted to know what was included with the price and what did the food look like if I was going to spend that much money and I already know my kid only likes certain things, and if we were only basically going for the train is what he wants. I definitely want to take him. And a couple other friends want to go but I was just like I like to know what I’m getting into before I go. So thanks for sharing this video really helps and I appreciate the ugly and the truth.
Hi and first thank you tons for watching. So yeah the prices are not that good. What they offer is ok but not great especially for how much your paying. I would suggest just eat something outside right before getting there and after, it might come out cheaper and maybe just get a couple snacks. If you wanna just check it out for free, this Thursday I believe is their community day and it's free admission. It should say on their IG. This is a part of why we make these videos, to help out our Central Valley Cru. Not much is documented around here so we try our best. We'll always be honest. Its a dissipoinent because of the prices. We have a lit of poverty in Fresno and I know a lot of falmilies will not be able to afgord to take their kids.

They did lower the price to $20 for adults, it's not much of a change but at least it's a change in the right direction. Yeah especially since it's in a public park-in addition to the zoo expansions that have been putting more and more public green space behind a paywall. I'm glad they're investing in Roeding Park but it's frustrating that Olive still does not have complete sidewalks crossing the train tracks for kids in the neighborhood to walk to their own local park

lol, great vid but I don't think Adam was in Fresno, lol, I love the Woo also, I went around 2pm that day had a good time with my daughter, people should know that the price is about the same as a wristband at Blackbeards or a good load up at Dave and Busters or John's Incredible Pizza.

Not knowing anything about the history of this place or Fresno, I'm surprised anyone is willing to spend money there. It looks like a county fair or a parking lot carnival with less to offer.
If you don’t like the food go somewhere else and it but don’t bash one of Fresno County historic sites because it’s a great place to take your family in Fresno County it is as close as you’ll feel like your at the real Disney land amusement park and I don’t think the price is bad at all inflation you know is everywhere in all amusement parks and play places including water parks and ps if you are a born Fresno native you should be proud to see revenue being raised in your town it means money raised into your community locally so don’t complain about the price or you can take your money and go elsewhere because I think they have made a lot of upgrades to their park so I know why they would have to raise their prices but it’s still a good price for all you guys got to do ❤😊😂😅
Well I think it's because ppl are passionate about Fresno and have high expectations for their own neighborhoods so sometimes if those expectations are not met or things are done halfy its disappointing. Also, if you received cold food or very minimal effort in it or anything you buy, I do think as paying customers we have the right to let them know in a very respectful way. The only way we improve is hearing what we can do better. But always In a constructive manner and respectfully. We definitely have to support our hometown places but that doesn't mean these places can also take advantage of that and barely make an effort. As with all new places that open, they make mistakes and they learn. I guarantee that Playland would agree, which is why they also made adjustments to prices and operations. I think I would loose my credibility if I'm not honest with places I go. It's never a bash but just being honest. Just as you are giving criticism and you definitely have that right and please continue to voice your opinions, but as does everyone else have that right. Hey, you know what though, i do appreciate you commenting and letting us know how you feel and we appreciate your time. Never stop being awesome.
@@doodwithacru I have been many places to eat out at in my life and I have received cold food before and sometimes not cooked enough but I don’t verbally bash the establishment to anyone I just go to the people that serve me my food and politely ask them to please fix this issue and they most always do you know the old saying the customer is always right ! This goes for anyone who shops anywhere that is a consumer you always go straight to the source first to try and get a resolution to solve your issue you have. @@doodwithacru your very welcome I just believe in keeping it real and being open and honest it is what it is it is all about integrity and sharing information with others that might help them it’s like people here is a hypothetical example a person goes out to eat at a restaurant and the food they ordered didn’t come out the way they ordered it either lack of communication with their waitress or waiter not getting the order right so they comeback with your food they gave you the wrong food or they didn’t cook it like you asked for you know rare medium rare or well done so you tell them there is something wrong with your order to that employee if they don’t help you you ask to speak with their supervisor and if they still don’t help you you ask for the manager you see what I mean chain of command you go through the right channels to solve the problem so the customer is always right you will get your solution to your issue solved so the end result you left a satisfied customer because you chose to handle the situation correctly 🇺🇸🗽💯☮️✡️👼👍❤️🙏🎆✝️🥰😇👏😆🤗

@mavlr06 so I don't they'll say anything if you do take an iPad but honestly I wouldn't really trust that ride unless you know you can definitely hold on to your iPad. It's a very bumpy coaster and whips you around so if you do and they don't day anything just make sure you hold on tight hahaha if you visit I hope you have a great time.

Some of Us have already TOLD the optimistic do gooders; Playland is simply Not Going To Work Long-term. I'll explain:
What is offered, is a play setting surrounded by a blighted area of Fresno. An area, well known and replete with low income homes, poverty, prostitution just across the street on two main streets, near ganglike living within the zip code, and not nearly enough of the once traditional population that used to actually LIKKE and GO for the theme for which the attraction is based upon, sigh.. Question: Doesn't Anybody have one drop of Common Sense..?, or are We really trying to kid ourselves, that Beer, Taco Trucks, and Sporting Events in' This Era, is far more entertaining, than Tea Cups and Helicopters, that are often used today to tell us from the Air, To ' Come Out With Our Paws Where We Can See Them...! Just saying, but let us get real, Friends. Peace!

I completely understand and agree with you though. The surrounding area is definitely not the best and the rides here are not helping them. It's only geared for the very young. I'm really hoping soon they see what all of us have been seeing and they make more changes than just repainting and saying it's new. With the crazy prices I don’t believe it’ll last long unless they lower the prices. Parents just need to supervise children pay $25 also which I find ridiculous

You are right, although some of the prices are a bit high for what they offer at the moment I hope as long as they can bring in bigger entertainment & rides for the whole family then it should even out. If the high prices continue with them offering the same thing then yes it has to change. They just recently changed the adults admission to $20 so that's better. I do believe with the few adjustments they've made in the week and a half they will try to make an effort in improving the part. Thank you again so much for your time.
