MEG!! Someone is bound to always have something worse going on, that unfortunately is just life. That doesn’t stop you from feeling the emotions, please don’t call yourself ignorant or a brat. It’s good to acknowledge and recognise your feelings, holding them in isn’t going to help! 💕

    • @SAA-hr9gr
      @SAA-hr9gr Před 3 lety +1

So true, as long as you can finally put them into perspective and put those emotions behind you it's ok because let's be real. The person saying Meg is a brat, to a certain extent is a brat in their own way. They could have celebrated their horse having had a good life and that they had an opportunity which most people don't have being the ownership of a horse in general, or like you pointed out, crying over a dead horse whilst people cry over not being able to eat a whole day. People will always have it harder and just because your life may seem harder than others doesn't mean you have a richt to call them a brat for being disappointed or upset about something. Being a brat would be feeling entitled to something which you aren't. We need to aknowledge our emotions but then finally put them behind us.

    • @meghan2721

You did amazing Meg! Never apologise for “being a brat” ... you work really hard to get good results and you’re allowed to be disappointed. It’s all relative - no one has the right to dismiss someone else’s dreams. Keep going!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It is heartbreaking to have the result be that close, I do hope that BE reconsiders the qualifications and allows for more pairs to qualify. I know you are so pleased with Jam and how far she is home this season. I was so impressed by how mature she looked at this event, so excited to see what you two will achieve in the future💜

It's okay to be disappointed, then you wash your face (and if necessary, your hair! :) ) and you go conquer the next challenge. If you had come off as flippant and didn't care about your results or your horse, that would have been annoying! :S We live the ups and downs with you, and we're always in your corner. Jam had a cracking day, jumped out of her skin, and has shown amazing progress in such a short amount of time. Well done!

You should be proud of yourself for working hard and trying your best, that’s what everyone should aspire to. I absolutley understand the emotions around this. I had 5 competitions in a row where I was first outside of placed. I had good runs, even great ones but I still got frustrated and emotional not getting all the way. But I do have to say that I felt like Jam had such more quality in her canter; it was powerful and bold and although I tought you rode her beautifully maybe you guys just needs a few more runs to get the feel for this power. I adore you Meg and your channel. Its ok to feel things.

Honestly, I think it’s so so rude that that person from Instagram sent you such a message. Eventing is your passion, it’s expensive, you’re relatively famous in the equine world which must be a lot of pressure and you lost out because of something so small; of course you’re going to be upset by it! I’m so sorry that that person made you feel as if you were a brat, your disappointment and tears are completely valid, Meg. The ending of the vlog made my heart hurt for you because you sounded so defeated and conscious of showing your feelings, but honestly, I think most of us in your position would’ve cried. Your emotions, whether they’re good or bad, are always valid, especially when you share so much of your life with us ❤️

One other thing, I know social media thing is your jam (sorry for the pun) but haters will always hate. You’ve done incredible well to get where you are, and who ever said that, doesn’t know what it feels like to be an athlete with a dream. All I can say is trot on to the next event.

Meg! I am SO gutted for you, I cried with you!! Absolutely screw all the Karen's who are being horrible they've clearly nothing better to do! Of course you are happy you are all home safe but you're upset you're devastated! Never apologise for showing your true emotions thata why we love you! You will never please everyone. No matter how wonderful someone's life is no one is just happy all the time and see's the good! Everyone has bad days and sometimes concentrates on the bad, you're human!! We love you meg xxx

There is no need to apologise for being disappointed and upset. You work so hard and have done an amazing job with your horses and we all understand that you’re not being a brat you’re just frustrated that it didn’t go better. Don’t be hard on yourself because you’ve done so well to be where you are now and the fact that Jam ate up that XC course is due to your hard work and brilliant riding. You’ll get to badminton again soon ❤️

I thought that your dressage, jumping and cross country were wonderful. I cannot understand that if you go faster than the allotted time you are at fault.Keep your chin up there is always tomorrow. You have absolutely nothing to be disappointed

You are not an ignorant brat at all! Everyone gets disappointed sometimes and that’s okay. Do not listen to that person! You have also inspired me so much and I love watching your videos

I haven’t watched it all yet, but you definitely seem to get more nervous & put more pressure on yourself for qualifiers. Such a shame! We all love your vlogs regardless of results xx

There are so many people out there can try to crush and criticise others because of their own deficits and just pure nastiness. Blocks them and delete them and don’t let them hurt you - they are utterly irrelevant. You are not a brat!!! You are so loved and admired by so many people who you don’t know. You deserve success but it wasn’t your day. You are just lovely and brilliant. X

Your feelings are what make you human, you have every right to be annoyed, sad, happy, over the moon with yourself and your riding everyone does it because how else do you learn? Trainers tell us how to do things better to improve our riding they don't tell us we're perfect and they certainly don't get annoyed at us about our feeling they just enhance the good we do to make us feel like we've done terrible, I LOVED watching this video and the smile on your face says it all! And Jam was a star! What a rocket on the XC who cares if you where 9seconds to fast that just shows how much she loved it! Keep your chin up Meg xx

  • @lemmebeawinnerequestrian7555

Meg you did great and seriously I cry even when we do good and definitely when I mess up and let Lemme down! It's a high stress sport and this show was definitely a big one for you, so who ever left that comment was just being mean. You are such an inspiration and so fun to watch. And I absolutely LOVE Jammie! She is a rock star!!!

Do not let anyone invalidate your feelings no matter what it’s over. If you’re upset you’re upset. Take care of yourself.

Meg, I just want to say you are absolutely amazing. You're channel is super fun and I always learn heaps, you inspire me to be a better rider and to train hard but fun. I only just started riding again so I have a long way to go.
We don't think you are a brat for being sad, people are allowed to have emotions and I'm glad you share yours with us. Please don't hide your feeling to please other people. We love and appreciate you the way you are, and yes you have a fabulous life but you don't have to be sorry about being disappointed! It's normal and it's human. You work so hard to get places and when you don't get there of course you'll be sad, you're not a robot. Don't let stupid internet people change you. Keep it up We love ya!!! 🥰🥰🥰
