May question lang po ako and hingi na din po ng advice, nabanggit niyo po kasi na enough na yung name natin at di na kailangan ng business name pero if ever pwede po ba na magkaroon ng business name? I have a motto po kasi that I wanted to live by and inincorporate ko po yun sa trade name na in-apply ko sa DTI. Okay lang po ba yun or should I just use my name po? Thank you po.

    Good day Maestro, very informative po lahat ng mga content niyo. starting an architectural office is quite challenging talaga especially in province. Competition is there but the most challenging one is magbigay ng tamang presyo lalo na for the designs. Siyempre di naman po natin pwedeng ipilit lalo na pag tight budget si client. Madalas namamahalan sila and lagi ko na-eencounter na sinasabi ng mga client e sa city engineering or municipal engineering nalang sila magpapadesign kasi mura. I'm wondering maestro if allowed po ba magdesign ang mga taga office of the building official considering sila po ung approving body for building permit?

    Hello Ar. There is a question.
    How are you able to renew your IAPOA in the website if they do not acknowledge PIA and LRA as the the website is being handled by the UAP? They disabled the payment button to renew. They are also requiring UAP Cert of Good Moral/Standing for apprentices application of exams and will this affect renewal of PRC ID?
    I know that the IAPOA is and should be the umbrella organization of all architectural organizations. So why does it seem that the UAP is trying to take hold to control everything and acting as the IAPOA?

    Is design and build (design & contractor) really ethical for an Architect to include in his practice? Logically the check and balance in a project network is now lost the moment architect acts as the contractor of the project he designed as well.

    Maestro, I just want to ask a few questions. Me and my co-engineers decided to make an office which will practice our profession, and it will be limited to our practices,but also in the future we want to enter in a real estate business., meaning po, we want to accept residential and other small scale projects (practice of civil engineering profession) as we want it to be our first step to our goal which is to be a real estate developer (business). We want to have an office on which we can practice our profession while doing businesses and to be known all over the country not as individual engineer but a company) what type of office do we need to establish as what you said po in your video, corporation can't practice an architect's and engineer's profession.

    • @carlomolato638
      @carlomolato638 Před 3 lety

      Next ko po tanong is yung PCAB license, for example, we are always next to client, our company is the designer, since, you said that as long as we are only servicing design-build services we are not required to have a PCAB license, but what if, if it is under DESIGN - BID - BUILD, we are the designers , we design and bid it to contractors, once a qualified contractor has chosen, we will be under contract, do we still need a PCAB licence ? Although we are not the contractors, but a contractee instead. . ?
