You are right, he does look a lot like Bam Adebayo. Hopefully the right team drafts him and develops him slowly - as a Lottery Pick, they will expect more quickly. At 6’9” with athleticism, he will need 3 years to improve his jumper, defensive positioning, court awareness, court vision and passing skills. He needs to drop a little in the NBA Draft to not draw comparison to Wiseman, Edwards and Ball - they will come in as Stars. Okongwu needs to work to become the energy guy that does anything like Bam Adebayo. 🤓🏀

@TheTyreese62 He'll be played off the floor late in games if he's not even a threat to hit 30% from 3. Look at Clint Capela if you need an example. You can be as switchable defender at possible but if you’re an offensive liability when teams go small you simply won’t play.
If he can hit 33% on decent efficiency he will be fine. He’s already a solid Ft shooter. That’s a good start.

No Center at all on the roster going into the offseason. I would draft LaMelo Ball or Killian Hayes at PG. or Pistons should just get Okongwu and get a free agent PG like Fred VanVleet or Kris Dunn.
