the walls enclose me suffocating tight
trapping me in darkness
devoid of light
each step i take
echoes my despair
as memories haunt me beyond compare
the pavement cracks beneath my weary feet
a symbol of the brokenness
no solace found
no respite from the pain
only a relentless void
an endless strain
like a lost soul wandering in the night
search for something to make things right
but every corner brings a deeper gloom
