- "Concerning Hobbits" is a piece by composer Howard Shore for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. It is a concert suite of the music of the Hobbits, arranged from the music heard in the film during the early Shire scenes, and features the various themes and leitmotifs composed for the Shire and Hobbits; it is intended to evoke feelings of peace.

The part where Gandalf first rides into the Shire to meet Frodo and you see the peaceful and slightly mischievous neighborhood he lives in as Gandalf's wagon drives through it has always been what I pictured as my happy place and it would never have worked the way it did without the music they decided to play during that scene.

Hi Janine! I love your covers with the lyre and because of you, I've been wanting to learn. I have done my research on which lyre should I buy as a beginner, but I still have concern with the sound. I've heard some lyres with the same brand and type sounds different through out videos on the internet. Therefore, I'm asking you for advice. Do you have any recommendation lyre? and if I may know, do you mix/master the sound of your lyre? Because yours sounds so good. It means a lot to me, Thanks!

I see so many people holding the lyre differently, is this the correct way? For some reason i gravitated to holding it with low strings further out. But i don't want to form bad habits

what lyre are you using in this arrangement? I heard out of the West on the harp would love to hear it on the lyre and where do you get your arrangements for the lyre since they only play c. My sister plays the hammered dulcimer and I play the bowed psaltry but this would be a nice addition.
I hit play on this song, then set my phone down and walked away,
For I was suddenly distracted by the things I wanted to do today,
And when I came back, I found that CZcams had picked
An ad to play post-video that was, like, 45-60 minutes. 😂
Since it was mostly done playing it by the time I had returned,
I let my phone lie there and finish the ad, knowing if you earned
Any revenue from the advertisement, it'd be going to a musician I enjoy,
