I have this game and have played the first few missions. Love it.

Avalon Hill's "Patton's Best" used that same idea of keeping the tank centered and moving the enemy around as it moved/turned. I think it was the first to come up with that idea, but I could see it also being used in a sci-fi setting and other ways.

It sounds as if many of the ideas - and maybe even the feeling of the game - are similar to the Hunters.

      Possibly. I haven't played Hunters.

The core of the game is very different: Navigation map with fuel and battery management, and tactical map for the attacks. None of these things are present in the series "The Hunters." It also has real missions with a historical background.

How does it compare with The Hunters and Uboat Leader?
