I just got back from seeing it. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! As a huge fan of Maleficent, and the fantasy genre, it was just as epic as I wanted it to be. It's now my favorite fantasy movie of all time!!!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the fantasy genre, and Maleficent as well!!!!!!!!! 10/10
Just watched it today. I feel the same way. It's so amazing and imaginative. It's got the perfect amount of chill and exciting moments. All the actors and actresses are perfectly casted, no flaws in plot. I dont easily get impressed by movies but this one is perfect. 10/10 indeed.

We saw that in the last movie when she decided to talk and hang out with the individual who she knew was stalking her for over a decade plus do it behind everyone else's back. That aside, I wouldn't be surprised to see Disney warp Prince Phillip into just a surprise stupid evil goon for his evil mother. The last movie showed that not only did Prince Phillip do nothing intelligent, cunning, skillful or clever the whole movie, but self-described himself as a clumsy fool for something that wasn't his fault thereby implying low confidence and/or he really is clumsy and/or a fool. If he's not an evil goon then it looks like he will remain insignificant and pathetic again.

I'm more of a tv series person but this movie is amazing! It's so full of imaginative things and every moment is so exciting. Plot is very well thought out. All the characters and casts are perfectly fitted for the role. Like seriously, you'll see what I mean when you see the movie. Every scene just leaves you amazed by the wonderful sceneries and actions. I am very critical of movies and quickly see the flaws but maleficent 2 is flawless. You wont regret watching this movie.

And live action movies aren't so bad(but that's my opinion don't get me wrong) animation takes more time than action movies as well I believe so even if they have a good new idea it will take some times. Sidenote Disney was ALWAYS about telling fairytales and making movies of them so they never really had something they made more (excluding cartoons and movies that they play on Disney channel) so it makes sense to me.
