What a masterpiece of a music video.
yeah if it was 2005 though
Was going to write the exact same thing
@@handle32169 Even if that sort of technology is now accesible, I will not be that sure, this seems pretty hand crafted to me. All the shots were carefully taken, selected and putted together for the sake of the continuity and brilliance of the message of the video
So I can imagine that just to take all the amount of pictures that seems to appear it would take a month, everyday working, at least. The building shots and the ones in the chapels and at the end when the leafs are drying and then turning into rocks are no joke. Even the emphasis when changing the theme of the photos at beat felt quite organic and with organic I mean with certain frame of cue-error.
If this was also done by the machine (learning) assistance then is a remarkable feature, but if it wasn't the pure algorithm and the director consciously made those syncopations I think the credit to him overlaps on what he could've archived "AI"-assisted. Either way, thanks for the info I wouldn't thought that could be the case, is good to know.
@@handle32169 Hey,,no AI assistance in this,I made it, please let me know where I can find a program like that if you find it!,it would be handy:) Thanks

@@Yoshi92 DMT can be inhaled with dabs and works really well that way. It only lasts like 15 minutes. It is intense but doesn't put the user in any danger in a safe setting. This video is a very good representation of a DMT trip except upon "coming back" the user is imbued with a sort of snapchat filter that is applied to everything and it's got to be one of the most beautiful experiences a human can have.
This is by far one of the best music video I've seen in my short life. From time to time I come back to see it again, it's very hypnotizing I really love this masterpiece.

I keep watching this music video very few weeks, and always think how it would it look like to see it in its maximum resolution, or ever further... on an analog film track. To see each frame in maximum quality would be something otherworldly. I love you Páraic and Max for this experience and a piece that is timeless.

@@BOTYgaming ye, 8 mBit/s is pretty lazy, then again they'd probably drown in data if they upped it to 15 or more...
The pictures start from 0:23 and go all the way to 4:00, so, 217 seconds of 'em.
The video is running in 25 images per second.
Taking this into account, there are 217*25 images.
Aprox = 5425 different images.
If the editor needed 10 seconds to properly position and edit a pic (Not even considering the time it would take to find the right one or organize it) it would have taken 54.250 seconds, which is a little over 15 hours of work nonstop.
Not taking in consideration the time it took to take the pics and organize them.
To properly position and take the picture with a camera, it would take about 10 seconds too, because many of them are close from one another.
If 5425 pictures were taken/found in the internet in about 10s each, it would take , again, about 15 hours.
Summing up to 30 hours of work + rendering time.
If we consider that all the pics are in 1080p, and knowing that a 1080p pic has a file size of about 8 MB, then 43,4 GB of HDD space were used for the pics.
Thats a lotta work
edit: 30 hours if (and only if) a machine did all the work. I personally think this project took from 2 to 3 hundred hours of work, by a team of at least 4.
If anyone knows more details, please, share them with us!

@@jarjik9295 If we consider the time it took on those “One Hour” labs, it would be 5425*1 hour.
5425 hours = 226 days = 7 and a half months of development, nonstop.

Paraic has done quite a few amazing videos already. This form of video art was started back in the 90s. I think the first time i ever saw this was at a film festival in Graz Austria back in 98. The film maker was this japanese guy called Yoshahisa Nakanishi. Amazing stuff back then - and done with analog equipment! The concept is with a fairly simple idea really, but the patience and time to create it has to be applauded. Also it is clear that Paraic is really extending the original idea and seeing how much he can do with it. Great work.
Yea he’s doing fantastic work with this sort of stuff. Reminds me a lot of the works of Peter Tscherkassky
